Whenever a new Pokémon game arrives, one of the first questions players have is about where they can find their favourite monster.

With Pokémon: Let’s Go – which strips the PokéDex right back to the original 151 ‘mon – this usually means focusing on the ‘classic’ beasts, including Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle.

After all, these were the ‘starter’ Pokémon that so many of us grew up with. As a result, you may well fire up your freshly-purchased copy of Let’s Go today and wonder exactly how to get them – and that’s where we come in.

There are three grass patches near the end of the forest. I have found him in that general area and sometimes a Beedrill will spawn there as well. You might have to run back and forth a few times to get him to pop up because it caught me by surprise. Make sure you have enough Pokeballs when you try to catch him and use berries to make sure he doesnt flee. Even if you dont get him on the first try, you can find more by running around in the area for awhile. He can help you take down Brock easily with his grass moves. You can also use a lure to help find bigger Pokemon.

You can also get a Bulbasaur in Cerulean city by talking to a woman there. In her house she will have a Bulbasaur in front of her. If you talk to her she will offer you Bulbasaur if you have caught enough Pokemon. I had caught 80 at the time and she offered it to me.

Using Cydia Impactor And Install Poke Go++ 20

  • Download the hacked R86 .IPA from here
  • Grab the latest version of Cydia Impactor as well. It works on both Windows and Mac
  • Connect your iOS device to the computer and launch Cydia Impactor
  • Drag and drop the .ipa file into the tool and sign in using your Apple ID
  • When prompted, select Allow, and it will start signing
  • This is something similar to how you would install an unsigned iOS apps using iFunbox. But this time, it doesnt even require a jailbroken device. After the Poke Go ++ iOS app is installed, you can start using it right away. The mod has been built right in with the official Pokemon Go game.

Before you open it, though, be sure to Trust the app via the Profile settings . Also, the same process must be repeated every week for the app to continue working. I know, it sucks, but your free developer account only lasts seven days per sign.

Where To Get Charmander In Pokemon Lets Go

If you want a free Charmander trade, simply head to Route 24, which is the pathway north of Cerulean City that you must cross the Nugget Bridge to reach. The main story will take you here in search of the famous Pokemon fanatic Bill. Up on route 24, directly north of Nugget Bridge, youll see a trainer standing near the hills with a Charmander. Chat to him and youll find out he wants to off-load the cute little critter. Hell want you to have caught at least 50 Pokemon before he hands Charmander over.

Charmander also spawns rarely out in the wild, too. Ive seen them on Route 3, Route 4 after the cave, and also in the Rock Tunnel, but this is once again a rare, infrequent spawn, so stock up on lures.

Where To Find Bulbasaur Locations In Pokemon Lets Go

To catch Bulbasaur in Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu and Eevee, youll want to go to Viridian Forest. Thats the location between Pewter City and Viridian City. As far as we know, this is the location that has the most chances of a Bulbasaur spawning. Make sure to have a lure on you and use it while looking for Bulbasaur. They dont spawn that often thats why we recommend using a lure. Also, make sure you comb through the grassy areas to increase your chances .

Alternatively, you can wait until youve caught a total of thirty Pokemon. It doesnt matter which you just have to capture thirty total. After that, make your way to Cerulean City. Go inside the house immediately to the left of the Pokemon Center in the city. Talk to the woman in the orange sweater and green skirt that lives inside. She will give you a Bulbasaur. This is probably the easiest method to get a Bulbasaur by the time you get there, youll likely will have caught thirty Pokemon.

    Bulbasaur’s Evolutions & Gigantamax Forms

As it’s been since Red and Blue, Bulbasaur evolves into Ivysaur at level 16 then Venusaur at level 32. Venusaur’s Mega Evolution is not available in Sword& Shield.

A Gigantamax form for Venusaur was announced for the Sword& Shield expansion pass. The conditions for achieving it are unknown at this time.

There are a couple different ways to find a Bulbasaur. The first place youll find one is in Viridian Forest near Route 2. Youll want to increase your Catch Combo to increase your chances of it spawning. To increase your catch combo, continue to catch grass type pokemon in a row, and whatever you do dont run from battles as this resets your combo.

Alternatively if youre still having a hard time finding Bulbasaur, head to Cerulean City once youve caught 30 pokemon. In the building to the left of the Pokemon Center, youll find a lady that will give you a Bulbasaur as long as youve caught 30 pokemon.

He even makes her leave her post, allowing you to continue where you couldnt before and later, in the city of Vermillion, youll find out that she captured Squirtle. Can a Pokémon be arrested? Either way, you already know what to do the agent wants someone to take care of Squirtle and keep him out of trouble. Charmander In The Wild

Charmander can be found in several places in the wild, but it is very rare. You may be lucky enough to encounter one in the wild on Route 3, Route 4, and in the Rock Tunnel, but you will need to perform a high catch combo before having the chance to encounter this rare Pokémon in the wild.

Officer Jenny will ask you to keep this Squirtle out of trouble if you have captured at least 60 Pokemon.

Bulbasaur In Pokemon Let’s Go: Bulbasaur Location For Gift & Wild Encounters

There are two ways to get your hands on a Bulbasaur in Pokemon Let’s Go – one which involves a friendly NPC who’ll simply give you Bulbasaur, and one way which involves catching it in the wild – though the chances there are much more slim.

    • To get a Bulbasaur without catching, you simply need to head to a particular NPC that can be found in Cerulean City. You’ll want a house that’s just to the left of the Pokemon Center – making it nice and easy to find. Head inside and chat to the chap within. He has a Bulbasaur he wants to offload, but he wants a decently experienced trainer. If you’ve caught at least 30 Pokemon , he’ll hand the Bulbasaur over into your care.
    • For a wild Bulbasaur Location, you’ll need to hjead to Viridian Forest. As far as we can tell, this is the only place in Pokemon Let’s Go where Bulbasaur appear in the wild, and this is true in both versions of the game. This is a rare spawn, so don’t expect to see it often. Remember, you can up your chances of seeing rare spawns with Lure items or by chaining together catch combos.

    How To Find Bulbasaur

There are two ways to find Bulbasaur. One of the lasses in Viridian Forest mentions her friend saw a Bulbasaur there but didnt record it with a Pokedex, so she doesnt know whether its real or not.

Rest assured, dear trainer, its real and you can come across one here.

The other way is through normal gameplay, since the woman in the house next to Cerulean Citys Pokemon Center gives you a Bulbasaur, assuming youve caught 30 Pokemon or more by then .

How To Get Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle in Pokémon ...

Interestingly, catching the starters in the wild isnt the only way you can get them in Pokémon Lets Go and, in fact, its not even really the best way to get them, unless your intended purpose is top-tier competitive play.

Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle are all gifted to you if you talk to the right people in Pokémon Lets Go. Better yet, gifted Pokémon in Lets Go have great stats: theyll have a garuanteed one stat marked as best and two others marked as fantastic, which is just slightly below best.

Even better, it seems as though those stats are tied to the Pokémons base stats so, your Squirtle will have Best or Fantastic Special Attack and Defense, for instance meaning their best stands tend to line up with their best use in battle.Heres where to get these gifted versions.

Where to get Bulbasaur as a gifted Pokémon with high stats

In Cerulean City, the first house on the western side of towm just as you enter from Route 4 has a lady inside.

How To Get A Charmander In Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu And Eevee

As we mentioned earlier, youll begin your game with either Pikachu or Eevee as your starter Pokemon. There isnt a choice of starter Pokemon in either of these games, unlike Pokemon Go, where you got to choose between Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle as your beginner creature.

But why would you want to go to the trouble of obtaining Charmander in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee? Simply speaking, Charmander has the ability to evolve into one of the best Fire-type Pokemon in the entire game: Charizard. This flying beast is one of the most recognisable Pokemon around the whole world, and you can evolve Charmander into Charizard by simply levelling up the former creature.

Youll need to make it all the way to Route 24, if you want to obtain a Charmander. This area is just north from Cerulean City, and once youve crossed the extended bridge, where roughly five trainers will take you on in battle, keep heading up from there.

Youll see a man and a Charmander standing with their backs against a rock wall. Approach the man, and hell tell you that hes willling to give you the Charmander, but only if youve captured over 50 Pokemon in total.

Unfortunately, duplicate Pokemon arent counted for this challenge. Therefore, youll have to capture 50 unique Pokemon in total. When youve done this, return to the man on Route 24, and the Charmander will be all yours to claim.

Pokemon Let’s Go: How To Catch Charmander Bulbasaur And Squirtle In The Pikachu And Eevee

Pokemon Let’s Go might be all about Pikachu and Eevee, but we wouldn’t blame you for wanting a classic Kanto starter Pokemon: Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle. Luckily, we know where to get them.

Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee do something most Pokemon games don’t – they forsake the choice of starter Pokemon at the game’s onset. Back in the day if you picked up Pokemon Blue you could still pick Charmander and evolve to Charizard even though Blastoise was on the cover, but in Pokemon Let’s Go you’ll get either Pikachu or Eevee depending on your game of choice. Luckily Pikachu and Eevee aren’t actually version-exclusive Pokemon, so you can catch them, but the next question for many fans is obvious: what about the classic, iconic starter Pokemon?

Well, have no fear. If you want a Charizard, Blastoise or Venusaur , you’ll need to get their earlier forms. These are Pokemon well worth having – they’re iconic, they’re powerful, and they have mega evolutions you can make use of in the late game. These Pokemon can be found in the wild rarely, but you can also pick up a guaranteed one of each from NPCs out in the world if you know where to look.

Here’s how to get Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle, the classic starter Pokemon, easily in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee:

Trade With Someone Who Did One Of These Things

There are some people who did one of the above transfer methods as soon as Pokémon Home came out. Or they caught some during the Pokémon Day 2020 Max Raids. If they have a Bulbasaur to spare, the easiest way to get it is to trade with them. Surprise Trade can also get you a Bulbasaur, just be careful about those hacked ‘mons going around.

HOW TO SHINY HUNT BULBASAUR IN 24 HOURS! – Pokemon Let’s Go! Pikachu

It’s quite simple to find Bulbasaur, and capturing the Grass-type Kanto starter Pokemon is a cinch, too. First, you’ll need to head out to Viridian Forest, which is located around Route 2. You can find it right after you leave Pallet Town, your starting destination in-game, as it’s a required destination to head to if you want to make it through to Viridian City. All you need to do to get there is go north of Pallet Town and continue ahead, essentially there’s nowhere else you can go after that.

When you’re traversing Viridian Forest, you’ll need to keep your eye out for Bulbasaur to spawn, because it is a very rare Pokemon to see wandering about in the tall grass. They won’t pop up throughout the entirety of the forest, either, unless you’re lucky. Instead, enter Viridian Forest, and then head toward the end of the pathway until you see the exit. Typically, you’ll see Pikachu spawning here as well, at a much higher rate than normal.

Drop a Lure item to increase the Pokemon spawn rate, and troll the small patch of grass near the exit until you see that familiar green bulb sprout up from the grass. A Lure won’t guarantee a Bulbasaur, but it can certainly help increase your chances. Eventually, a Bulbasaur should pop out of the grass, and all that’s left to do is catch it. If you find a few, catch two a Venusaur is always good to have around.
