To evolve Pancham into Pangoro, youre going to need to do two things.
The first is that youre going to want to make sure youve got a Dark-type Pokemon when youre training up your Pancham. This is a pre-requisite for your Pancham to evolve into Pangoro in Pokemon Sword and Shield.
Once youve got a Dark-type Pokemon in your Party, begin leveling your Pancham up to Lv. 32. When your Pancham hits Lv. 32, as long as youve got a Dark-type Pokemon in your party, itll evolve into Pangoro.

Thanks to the confusing efforts of Pokemon GO players around the world, Niantic is set to introduce two new Pokemon to the game: Pancham and its evolution, Pangoro.
These two will be added today, May 11th, at 10:00 AM local time. This means that some players are already able to catch the brave little panda Pokémon themselves.
As players of the main series Pokemon games may know, Panchams evolution towards Pangoro is a bit unusual. It has the usual requirement of reaching a certain level , but it also requires the player to have a Dark-type Pokémon in their party.
So the question many Pokemon GO players are asking is, will this unorthodox evolutionary requirement be reflected in Pokemon GO? And if so, how?
Eevee To Espeon Or Umbreon
If you havent done so already, you can evolve Eevee into Espeon or Umbreon using the naming trick. But you can only do this once.
Otherwise you first need to walk 10k with your Eevee buddy. Then if you evolve Eevee:
- During the day, it will transform into Espeon
- At night, it will change into Umbreon
You will also need 25 Eevee candy to evolve Eevee into Umbreon or Espeon.
On the Pokémon storage screen for your buddy Eevee, it will tell you on the evolve button if youll get Espeon or Umbreon. Its hard to make a mistake.

When Does Pancham Debut In Pokmon Go
Pancham will be unlocked at 10am on May 11th in your local time zone. Hell then be added to the game so you will likely always have some way to find him, whether its in the wild, in raids, or by hatching eggs. How To Hatch Eggs Quickly
With it being difficult to be sure if a Strange Egg will even hatch into a Pancham in the end, players will want to make sure they optimize the egg hatching experience especially with the long 12km walking distance required. Fortunately, there are many potential ways to decrease the time it takes to hatch them.

Players should consider purchasing a Super Incubator to decrease the walking distance by half only 6km! While they cost 200 PokeCoins to purchase, they can sometimes be gotten at a discount through special boxes in the store. It’s also important to walk at an optimal speed as players have reported that about 6.5 mph is the best for the app to record maximum distance.
Can You Catch A Shiny Pancham In Pokemon Go
As far as we can tell, there is no way to catch a shiny Pancham in Pokemon Go at the moment. This is often the case when a new Pokemon is added, so its not exactly a cause for concern. Evolving Pokémon using items has always been part of Pokémon GO. But recently Niantic has introduced more interesting ways to evolve Pokémon and if the online rumours from data miners are true, this number will swell as more creatures are introduced.
Well update this guide as more special evolutions are introduced. But, for now, heres everything you need for evolution expertise that would put Darwin to shame.
Where To Find Pancham
For this first initial offering of Pancham in Pokémon GO players will find him in raid battles at nearby gyms. Unless Niantic decides to surprise everyone and change things up from May 11th to the 17th players will only be able to catch Pancham by defeating him in raid battles and catching with Premier Balls. Be sure to work with local players or global friends to coordinate invites to remote raids if you need it, otherwise youll be reliant on what raids spawn near you.
However, things will definitely change on May 18th at 10am when Pancham might or might not stop appearing in raids. What will definitely happen is he will shift to being available in strange eggs which are the 12km eggs you receive when you win a battle with a Team GO Rocket leader. If you havent caught enough Pancham to evolve him into Pangoro by then youll want to grab some incubators. One last question, before we go though.

Pangoro Best Ivs In Pokmon Go
The best IVs for using Pangoro in Great League are 0/13/13. It will need to be level 19.5 to hit the maximum 1,500 CP.
In Ultra League, the IVs you want to aim for are 0/14/15 at level 34.5. Pangoro has a maximum CP of 2902, so we dont recommend taking it in Master League, no matter how fond of the ninja panda you are.
As Pancham can only be found in Strange Eggs at the moment, youll have to trade with friends to try to get the best IVs for Pangoro in Pokémon GO PvP.
