How To Evolve Eevee Into Glaceon

FAVORITE EEVEE EVOLUTION | Pokemon: Lets Go, Eevee! – EP 50

Glaceon is an Ice-type Eevee evolution first introduced in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl.

Like Leafeon, Glaceons evolution method was also changed in Pokemon Sword and Shield. You no longer have to bring it to a location with an Ice Rock. Instead, give it an Ice Stone to make it evolve.

Yes you can also obtain an Ice Stone from the set of rocks on the hill in the Lake of Outrage region in the Wild Area, or, as a reward from the Digging Duo.

How To Evolve Eevee

Most of Eevees evolutions require an evolution stone, which is one of the easiest methods for getting the upgraded creature you want. Stones can be found here. Keep in mind that if you get a free Eevee early on in the game because you have a save file for Pokémon: Lets Go, Eevee, you cant evolve it.

Below are the Eevee that evolve with stones:

  • Flareon: Fire Stone
  • Leafeon: Leaf Stone
  • Vaporeon: Water Stone

Eevees three other evolutions require you to raise your friendship to at least level three and then, based on a second condition listed below, they will change once you level them up next:

  • Sylveon: Must know a fairy-type move
  • Espeon: Must not know a fairy-type move and level it up during the day
  • Umbreon: Must not know a fairy-type move and level it up during the night

How To Evolve Eevee To Espeon And Umbreon

To get Eevees Generation 2 evolutions, after you use their respective nicknames, you will have to:

  • First, add Eevee as your buddy and then:
  • Walk 10km during the day and then evolve Eevee to get the psychic-type Espeon. Make sure that the in-game sky indicates day time.
  • Walk 10km during night time and then evolve Eevee to get the dark-type Umbreon. Make sure that the in-game sky indicates night time.

As I said, there is a bit of a challenge here. Now lets see how you can get the two Generation 4 Eevee evolutions at will.

Pokmon Go Eevee Evolutions Guide: How To Get Every Eeveelution

While never the poster child for the series, Eevee quickly rose through the ranks and has become one of the most popular and beloved Pokémon in the entire series. It’s easy to see why, too. This cute, furry little creature is so cheerful and appealing that it is impossible not to love. Plus, finally given a proper time to shine in Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee, more people than ever have gone on the hunt to add at least one Eevee to their team in any game they’re featured in, especially Pokémon Go.

  • iPhone or Android device

  • Pokémon Go

The unique thing about Eevee is, unlike any other Pokémon, they can evolve into a total of eight different evolutions that each take on a different elemental type. Originally in Pokémon Go, Eevee could only evolve into their original three Eeveelutions Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon but after years of updates and new additions to the game, we can finally transform our cute little furry friend into every Eeveelution seen in any of the mainline games. In a typical Pokémon game, you can choose which form your Eevee will take after evolving by giving them a specific stone, but that’s not quite the case in Pokémon Go. If you want to know how to get every Eeveelution in Pokémon Go, follow this complete guide.

How To Get Sylveon In Pokemon Go

Sylveon, the most recent addition to the Eeveelutions, and the method to obtaining it is a bit tedious but totally worth it. Trainers can check out our Pokemon Go Sylveon guide for more in-depth details, but the gist to getting Sylveon is through the friendship meter in Pokemon Go.

Trainers need to make Eevee their buddy and earn 70 hearts with it. Again, this will take a while, but as long as trainers can maximize the amount of hearts earned each day they will eventually get to that mark. Trainers will know they received the right amount of hearts when the silhouette in the evolution area of Eevees in-game information screen shows Sylveon.

How To Get Espeon And Umbreon In Pokemon Go

For Espeon and Umbreon, the two Gen 2 Eeveelutions, there is a method to obtaining each. Simply add Eevee as your buddy and have it walk with you for 10km. Once that requirement is complete, evolve your Eevee during the day for Espeon and at night for Umbreon. Be careful, however, as sometimes Pokemon Go doesnt reflect night and day like in real life. Check the color of the sky in-game to make sure it is nighttime where you are before evolving.

With so many classic Eevee evolutions to choose from – alongside the newer additions – you want to make sure that you get your favorite, so let’s talk about how to evolve Eevee in Pokemon Go.

For our money, Eevee is one of the coolest Pokemon. Eevee can evolve into more different Pokemon than any other species discovered so far – and of course that carries over to Pokemon Go.

From the newest Eeveelution, Fairy-type Sylveon, to the original elemental three, Jolteon, Flareon and Vaporeon, there are guaranteed ways to get each and every evolution – here’s what to do.

What Do You Need About The Names Of The Eevee Evolutions In Pokmon Go

And why the names Sakura, Tamao, Sparky, Rainer and Pyro? The last three are the names of the Eevee brothers in the Pokémon TV series, who meet Ash in Episode 40 to show him their respective Eevee evolutions. Sakura and Tamao appear later in the series.

When you change the name of your Eevee to one of the above, you should exit and reload the application to check again that the change has been made successfully, which is important considering that servers can sometimes crash.

When you have verified the name, evolve Eeevee just as you would any other Pokémon by giving it Candy, and it should transform into the one you have chosen.

Can I Evolve My Starter Eevee In Pokmon Let’s Go

Nope. Sorry. Just like Pikachu, the Eevee you first catch at the start of the game is a stubborn little mon and does not want to evolve. The good news is, your Partner Eevee starts out with higher stats and special moves right out of the gate.

If you want to evolve an Eevee, you’ll either have to transfer one from your Pokémon GO game or find one in the wild.
