The best card in this set is a FA/Sylveon VMAX which is card number 093, which has also been described as hyper rare.
A graded PSA 10 example of this card is highly rare and only 35 exist in that grade. This card will continue to become tougher to find especially in a high-grade example.

For Individual Card Resale

While Chilling Reign isnt a bad set to invest in, there are some better sets out there.
One of them is Shining Fates. Yes, this set was reprinted heavily but the pull rates are so high and offer the chance of a lot of great cards like a Shiny Charizard VMax.
Another one is Vivid Voltage. This set is a sleeper but has so many great pulls that people love. Prices for elite trainer boxes and booster boxes continue to fall for Vivid Voltage so it might be a good time to buy the dip.
The upcoming 25th anniversary set Celebrations is another great one to save your money for. Its almost a guarantee that it will go up in value on the aftermarket over time.

How Many Should You Buy
How many Pokémon booster boxes you should invest in really depends on what you intend to do with the cards.
If you are collecting the cards yourself, one booster box is enough to get a good start on the new card series. The average collector is best to buy a maximum of two to three booster boxes. Two to three boxes will provide a great selection of cards and a higher probability of getting rarer cards.
