You can either use the name trick – name it Tamao, or walk 10km with it as your buddy, and evolve it at night with it still as your buddy

To evolve into Umbreon you must do the following:

Walk 10km with that Eevee ad your buddy, you must earn 2 candy in the process.

If you meet the requirements the evolve button will show which form you will evolve into. If it shows a question mark then you did something wrong and evolving in that state will give a Kanto form at random.

If you do the trick and evolve Eevee during the day, youll get an Espeon. If you evolve Eevee during the night, youll get a Umbreon. This time-based evolution is a throwback to how you evolved those Pokémon in Pokémon Gold and Silver.

When it hits 10km or more, youll be good to go with evolving your Eevee as long as you have the 25 candies that, according to IGN, are also a requirement. Available from the in-game store for 200 coins apiece, the Mossy and Glacial Lure Modules work just like the ordinary Lure Modules in the game. Simply buy whichever one takes your fancy and use it on a nearby PokéStop.

Youre gonna need a Glacial Lure or a Mossy Lure to get these monsters in Pokemon GO. Until theres a steel or rock-type Eevee in the game, the Magnetic Lure has NO EFFECT on Eevee as far as we know. But the Glacial Lure or Mossy Lure, youre in luck!
Just so long as youre in the radius of a Pokestop thats fitted with a Glacial Lure or Mossy Lure, your evolution will be Leafeon or Glaceon. This is slightly different from whats been reported in the past it does not matter if you were the person to place the lure!
