How To Evolve A Pokemon With A Fire Stone
With a Fire Stone in Pokemon Sword and Shield collected, fans are now ready to evolve Vulpix into Ninetales. This is done by simply selecting the Fire Stone from the Other Items section in the menu and using it on the Vulpix. Players should then see their Vulpix immediately begin to evolve, and again this evolution can be performed regardless of what level the Generation 1 Pokemon happens to be when the Evolution Stone is applied.
Fire stones are also used to evolve two other Pokemon in Sword and Shield they are used to evolve Eevee into Flareon and Growlithe into Arcanine. They can be evolved with the same method used for Vulpix into Ninetails.

Total Pokmon Fought Battle The Pokmon You Want A Shiny Of
At the time I took this screenshot, I had fought Wooloo 616 times.
Another way to increase your chances is by having battled a Pokémon several times during your game. You can check to see how many times you’ve fought a specific Pokémon by checking your Pokédex. Your chances of finding a shiny increase incrementally when you’ve fought the same Pokémon 1, 20, 50, 100, 200, 300, or 500 times total. That means that the best way to increase your chances is by having fought the same Pokémon 500 times during your game. That’s definitely a lot, but for the serious shiny hunter, it’s worth it. If you’ve gotten to the end of the game, you might have gotten close to that number. Otherwise, it will take a lot of work to battle a Pokémon that much.
Fun fact, I’ve been shiny hunting for Wooloo for over 17 hours. In that time, I’ve fought well over 1,000 of them. However, the Pokédex stops counting once you’ve fought 999 of the same Pokémon.
Sword And Shield: Shiny Pokmon Vs Super Shiny Pokmon
Two different types of shiny Pokémon appear in Sword and Shield. One of them is much rarer than the other and has been dubbed “super shiny” by the internet. Regular shiny Pokémon pop out with stars glittering around them, whereas super shiny Pokémon appear with squares, as seen in the picture above.
Shiny Pokémon rarity has been split! Same 1:4096 odds to obtain a shiny, but there are two types of shiny. 15/16 show stars, 1/16 show squares. Square rarity is 1 in 65536!Basically, if your Trainer ID cleanly matches the PID , it will be squares rather than stars.

Data miners have dived into Sword and Shield’s coding to determine what the shiny odds are. According to respected data miner Kurt, the odds of catching shinies are still 1/4096. However, 15/16 shiny Pokémon will show stars, whereas only 1/16 shiny Pokémon will show squares. That makes super shinies super rare to come across with only a chance of 1/65536!

How To Evolve Growlithe Vulpix And Eevee In Pokemon Sword And Shield
Once youve found your Fire Stone, head into your bag, select the Other Items tab and use the item on any of the Pokemon seen below to transform them into the desired evolution. If you give it to a Pokemon, they will just hold it and the process wont work.
There’s three Pokemon you can evolve with the Fire Stone. First up is Growlithe, exclusive to Pokemon Shield, who will evolve into Arcanine, and can be found exclusively in the Dusty Bowl region of the Pokemon Sword and Shield Wild Area, while Vulpix will evolve into Ninetales and can be found on Route 3 and in numerous parts of the Wild Area.
You can also evolve Eevee into Flareon if you’ve managed to catch one on Route 4. Of course, Eevee has a plethora of evolutions though so make sure Flareon is definitely the one you want!

Fortunately, the best way to go about finding a Shiny Ninetails is to first find a Shiny Vulpix and evolve it with a Fire-Stone. Make sure to place the Regional Ditto with a Vulpix or a Ninetails within the Day Care Center. Eventually, after moving around a bit, the Day Care Lady will provide the player with an egg. Make sure to have a Pokemon with the ability Flame Body at the front of the party, as this will make the required steps for the egg to hatch shrink by half. Keep on collecting eggs from the Day Care Lady and hatching them. The Oval Charm increases the frequency in which eggs will appear in the Day Care Center, providing the player with dozens of eggs every few minutes. This can be a time-consuming process, as there is no definitive way to hatch a Shiny Pokemon. This method is just the easiest way to cut down on time. It can take 10 eggs or it can take 10,000 eggs. It’s all a matter of chance.

Pokémon Lets Go, Pikachu! and Lets Go, Eevee! are a part of the seventh generation of Pokémon games, like Pokémon Sun, Moon, and their enhanced versions. So, while the games loosely follow the events of the originals, other elements are in line with the latest titles.
For instance, the amount of HP that potions recover corresponds to the amount healed in Pokémon Sun and Moon, instead of the original games. So, while Super Potions heal for the improved 60 HP, Hyper Potions sadly only restore 120 health.

Of course with any Spotlight Hour the biggest bonus is the massively increased spawn rate of the featured Pokémon. Grimer will be appearing in the wild much more often, almost becoming the only spawn available for the hour. To take advantage all you need to do is load up the game and perhaps pop an Incense or Lure Module if you want even more Grimer to encounter and catch during the hour. And there are two reasons youll want to see and catch as many as you can.
For one, the other bonus is 2x the usual Catch Candy. So what would normally give you 3 Grimer Candy will instead reward 6. And Pinap Berry use will stack . So use them and you should get 12 Grimer Candy for evolution and powering up after the event concludes. Which youll want to do if youre lucky enough to get Shiny Grimer.

If you’re adamant about getting shiny Pokémon, then you’ll want to get the Shiny Charm. This is a reward you receive for completing the Galar region Pokédex. To do that, you’ll need to trade Pokémon with friends or people online to get the version exclusive Pokémon not found in your game.
Once you have all 400 Pokémon, travel to Circhester and go to the first hotel you see in the city. You’ll need to take the elevator to the top floor and then head to the room that’s farthest on the left of the building. Enter the room and talk to the doctor in the back. He’ll give you the Shiny Charm, which will increase your chances of coming upon a shiny Pokémon to 1/1365.33. When combined with all of the other catching methods, your odds go up to 1/458.
If you’re close to getting the Shiny Charm before playing through the Isle of Armor or Crown Tundra DLC, it’s probably worth finishing up your Pokédex quickly. You’ll run into plenty of wild Pokémon during the DLC, and as you explore the new areas, so it’s a great time to run into an accidental shiny. Having a Shiny Charm will make your chances even better.
Lets Go Pikachu: Your Own Eevee
If you dont want to choose between Eevee and Pikachu and are okay with one that you cant dress up, then do keep in mind that there are other Eevees you can get in both versions. Going to Route 17, you will be able to find them in both Lets Go games, but with a rare rate of showing up.
Theyre hard to find, but you arent completely locked off from Eevees if you go with Lets Go, Pikachu. Also, unlike the starter Eevee, you can evolve captured Eevees regardless of your game into Jolteon, Vaporeon, and Flareon too.
