Aside from Sylveon, Pokémon GO players can evolve their Eevee’s into Jolteon, Vaporeon, Flareon, Umbreon, Espeon, Leafeon and Glaceon.

To convert Eevee into one of its other evolutions, you’ll need to feed it 25 Eevee candies and nickname each Eevee as the following:

• Rename Eevee as Linnea to evolve into leaf-type Leafeon
• Rename Eevee as Rea to evolve into ice-type Glaceon
• Rename Eevee as Sakura to evolve into psychic-type Espeon
• Rename Eevee as Tamao to evolve into Dark-type Umbreon
• Rename Eevee as Rainer to evolve into water-type Vaporeon

Important note, the trick only works once per evolution type, so make sure you choose Eevees with the best CP values before you evolve them into the type you want.

In the main Pokemon games, Sylveon evolves based off your Affection and Friendship stats, which maps to the Pokemon Buddy Feature that Pokemon Go has.

First of all, the nickname trick continues to work with Sylveon. To get it first, take an Eevee and rename it to Kira – then evolve it. The first time you do this, you’ll get a Sylveon. After this, however, you’ll have to evolve into Sylveon in the traditional way, as this is a one-time trick per eeveelution.

For further chances to evolve Eevee to Sylveon, you’ll need to get 70 Buddy Hearts with an Eevee – which puts your relationship with that Pokemon at the ‘Great Buddy’ level. After this, you simply need to evolve that Eevee with 25 Eevee candy, and you’ll get the fairy-type Sylveon in return.

All of these work with the Flower Crown Eevee or Shiny Eevee – so you can use these tricks to get yourself a Shiny Sylveon or a Flower Crown Sylveon.

Eevee Evolution Groups In Pokmon Go

Now, lets cover those evolution groups I mentioned. The first group is composed of Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon. Eevee will randomly evolve into one of these three Pokémon when given 25 Eevee candy. Unfortunately, besides the name trick, theres no way to know which one youll get until you get it.

The second group is composed of Espeon and Umbreon. Normally, youd have to make the Eevee your buddy, walk 10km with them, then give it the Candy to evolve during the day for Espeon or at night for Umbreon. However, while the Eevee Community Day is going on, whether due to a bonus or a bug, all you have to do is make the Eevee your buddy, and you can evolve it right away, though the time requirement is still there.

The third group is composed of Leafeon and Glaceon. These forms are obtained by evolving Eevee within proximity of a PokéStop using a particular Lure Module a Mossy Lure for Leafeon, and a Glacial Lure for Glaceon. Normally, these items are shop-exclusive, but during the event, you can earn them from completing Timed Research.

The final and newest group includes only Sylveon. In normal times, youd have to make Eevee your buddy, then play and interact with it enough to earn 70 Buddy Hearts before you can evolve it into Sylveon. Thats no small task, which is why its nice that, for the Community Day event, theyve dialed things back. As long as the event is running, you only need to earn 7 Buddy Hearts with your Eevee to evolve it into Sylveon.
