Sadly, there is no sure-fire way to guarantee youll get any of these three its completely random when you hit Evolve. Yes, you will get one of the Gen I mon, but you cant choose which one.

Time to find all the ways to evolve Eevee.

Eevee is one of the most popular Pokémonand every single one of its evolutions made the cut for Sword and Shield.

That means there are eight different forms you need to take into account when training up your Eeveeand that doesnt even include the special one you can get that will be capable of Gigantimaxing.

It isnt too difficult to get any of the forms, so dont worry about having to settle for a Flareon if you were gunning for a Sylveon from the start. Just be ready to hunt for the stones you need or work on becoming best friends with the cuddly little Normal-type.

Heres a breakdown of how to get each Eeveeloution in Sword and Shield.

Form
Level up with Max Happiness during the day
Umbreon Level up with Max Happiness during the night
Leafeon
Sylveon Level up while it knows a Fairy-type move

This is the first time since their introduction in Diamond and Pearl that you can actually use a stone to evolve Glaceon and Leafeon. Normally, youd need to travel to an area with a special rock and level them up there. But now, you just need to find their corresponding stone.

You can also encounter all of Eevees evolved forms in Max Raid Battles or as Strong Spawns in the Wild Area. The Lake of Outrage is usually where you can find them if they do decide to spawn in the wild.

Pokémon Go: How to get Leafeon, Glaceon, and all the Eevee ...

You are searching Eevee in Pokémon Sword and Shield why cant an evolution be missing from your team or simply to complete the Galar regional Pokédex? You are in the right place: in this guide we will see where to find Eevee and its respective evolutions.

Where to find Eevee

Evolution Pokémon can be encountered in both Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, but it is very rare. The easiest place to look for it is Route 4 just before Turrfield, the city where the first gym of the game is located. We will have to arm ourselves with patience, because the chance for Eevee to appear in the overworld is only 5% in Pokémon Shield and very low for Swords friends, where Eevee appears only 1% sometimes.

Just wander around Route 4 until you hear his characteristic verse: it is a sign that Eevee has appeared on the map and just find it to add it to your Pokémon collection. To make things even easier you can use Hi-Tech earphones that allow you to adjust the sound, reducing all sounds other than the verses of Pokémon: Like Pikachu, Eevee has a unique verse, similar to Eva!, so it is very recognizable.

Another way to get Eevee in Pokémon Sword and Shield is to have played Pokémon Lets Go Eevee: in this case, just go to the Wilderness Station and talk to the boy next to the girl next to the access area of the tracks, who will give a sample of Eevee capable of gigamaxizing. LEevee event is in particular as it cannot evolve.

How To Catch Eevee In Pokemon Sword And Shield

So you can acquire an Eevee in Pokemon Sword and Shield in more than one way. The first, which weve already briefly mentioned, is to actually own Pokemon Lets Go Eevee and have a save file of it on your Switch. If you do, youll be able to pick up the Gigantamax Eevee from one of two trainers in the Wild Area train station by the Meetup Spot.

However, if youre just looking out for your average Eevee, weve got some good news. Sure, its not going to be as adorably fluffy as the Gigantamax version that you can get, but theyre actually not super difficult to find in the wild. Our recommendation would be to head straight for Route 4 after arriving from Wedgehurst and to just start running around until you spot them scampering around.

Take your time to head back and forth between the areas til an Eevee makes its presence known, then proceed how you normally would when it comes to catching any other Pokemon. Eevee can evolve into all of its Eeveelutions in this game so long as youve got the right evolution stone or meet the right conditions. For example, weve got a guide on how to turn your Eevee into a Sylveon if youre interested, and you can check that out here.

Now that weve told you how to catch Eevee in Pokemon Sword and Shield, why not check out some other tips and tricks that weve put together for aspiring Trainers in the Galar region?

How To Evolve Using Nicknames To Guarantee Your Choice Of Eevee Evolution

If you evolve an Eevee ‘raw’ by spending 25 candy, it’ll just evolve into one of the different available evolutions at random. However, you can actually force a specific evolution by renaming your Eevee of choice to a special nickname – and the whole thing began as an easter egg nod to a classic set of Eevee evolutions found in the Pokemon anime TV show.

So, basically, all you have to do is rename your Eevee to a specific name and then evolve it the regular way by spending 25 candy. Here are the names and the Eevee Evolutions:

Eevee Evolution
Kira Fairy

An important note about this little cheat: it only works once per Eevee Evolution. Once you’ve renamed one Eevee as Tamao to get Umbreon, for instance, you’ll only be able to get another Umbreon through ‘natural’ means – with that exact method depending on the eeveelution in question. This is why you should check your CP values and IV values before evolving an Eevee – make sure it’s a good one, as you only get one shot.

Pokmon Go Lures Explained: How Do Standard Lure Modules Work

How To Evolve Eevee Into Espeon In Pokemon Sword & Shield

Standard Lure Modules in Pokémon Go are pretty simple: they’re items earned in a couple of ways in-game that can be placed on PokéStops to increase the amount of wild Pokémon that spawn nearby, for a short period of time.

They’re primarily acquired through the in-game shop, either as individual purchases or as part of the various ‘box’ bundles that are frequently rotated through the store.

You’ll also earn them as rewards from other means occasionally, like levelling up, in a similar way to things like Incubators or Lucky Eggs, but don’t exact that to happen often.

To use a regular Lure, simply tap on a PokéStop and then tap on the little white space above the disc in the close-up screen, and you’ll be able to add a Lure from your inventory there. They usually last for 30 minutes, although during special events like Community Day they’re usually boosted to a few hours to help you out!

Evolving Eevee Into Espeon In Pokemon Moon

  • Okay so I know about the whole evolve in the daytime, affection, battles etc. My real problem is different, and I don’t know if anyone else has done this before??So I’m trying to get all the Eeveelutions now I had 2 female Eevee’s on my team, max affection, fed them, battled with them, also made sure to feed them malasadas. After one battle they both tried to evolve into Sylveon, I let one evolve because I was hoping to get a Sylveon but I wasn’t planning on having two of them so I pressed “B” to automatically end the evolution of the second one well now I’m stuck here wondering if my Eevee will evolve into Espeon at all now, it was technically my fault because I should have deleted a fairy type move from one of them, but I made sure to forget a fairy type move immediately after the incident so? Also one of my previous Eevee’s evolved into Umbreon at lvl 30 and I read somewhere that lvl 30 is the usual evolution level for Umbreon/Espeon, but now my Eevee has hit lvl 30 and nothing, so if anyone has any idea pls let me know, and if it can’t evolve into Espeon anymore can I maybe evolve it into a Glaceon or Leafeon? • Is It Worth To Get An Espeon

Now that you know how to evolve Eevee into Espeon, the question is if it is worth your time to get one? This is assuming that you have no other source to get more Eevees hence you have to decide which one to evolve your Eevee into. The answer is yes and that is Espeon is worth going out of your way when you are interested. It is considered to be the best evolution of Eevee.

    Espeon Advantages

Its advantages lie in having strong Sp. Attack, SP. Defense, and Speed. Basically, Espeon excels in dealing and survival Special attacks. The Speed that it has also allows it to strike first and a lot of its moves are Priority Moves, which usually allows it to go first. Lets not forget the fact that it is also a Psychic-type where in some games can be tricky to find a good Psychic-type.

During its debut, Generation II games still lacked good Psychic-types, but Espeon fills that hole. Then again, in the later games, there are good Psychic-types. The good thing is that Espeon can still compete with those if it is ever available in the game. Wed say that if you dont have a keen interest in evolving Eevee, you can evolve it to Espeon so you can at least have a strong Pokemon in your possession, even if you dont plan on using it.

The table above shows that Espeon, Glaceon, and Vaporeon have the highest max XP while Espeon and Glaceon have high attacks. Vaporeon has the highest stamina and it is also the evolution most players would point to as being the strongest. It is a solid water-type that rivals a lot of the harder-to-get Pokemon and is only outclassed by Pokemon like Kyogre and Gyarados.

Leafeon and Glaceon are both solid in several scenarios, especially if you dont have a better grass-type or ice-type. They can do a decent amount of damage and take some hits, making them a solid pick for raids and certain team compositions. Umbreon, despite its low attacks, is very good defensively.

Flareon, Jolteon, and Espeon, on the other hand, are all outclassed by a good chunk of Pokemon of their type and dont offer much to mitigate the stat deficits against the likes of Entei, Zapdos, or Mewtwo. Once Sylveon is added to Pokemon Go it might take the crown as the best overall Eeveeloution.

As Eevee is the star of the , its time to plan what evolutions you want for your killer collection. But all Eevee evolutions are not created equal.

Each of Eevees eight evolutions has different stats and weaknesses. Knowing these will help you choose what to keep from your mega Community Day haul.

All eight ‘Eeveelutions’ are now available in Pokémon GO: Sylveon, Umbreon, Espeon, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Leafeon and Glaceon.

In the “classic” Pokémon games, this particular monster is able to evolve into different types depending on what special items you have, its happiness level, the moves it has unlocked and the time of day. Thankfully you don’t have to jump through those kinds of hoops in Pokémon GO.

Instead, you can simply rename your Eevee to one of eight different names to guarantee a particular evolution, or employ some other tricks to get your desired Eevee evolution. There are a few caveats, but these methods definitely work.
