Pokmon Go Special Trades Explained
In trading, not all Pokémon are weighted equally. They are classed under two types:
Standard Pokémon Trades:
- Forms you don’t have in your Pokédex
- Any other Pokémon not in your Pokédex that isn’t Legendary or Shiny
Special Trades:
It should be reiterated that Mythical Pokémon – such as Mew – cannot be traded under any circumstances.
Standard and Special Trade differences
There are two main differences with Standard and Special Trades. For one, you can only do one Special Trade per day, with anyone. This resets at the same time PokéStops and Research quests do .
The other is the Stardust cost. This is where things get a little more complicated. If you are trading Legendaries and Shinies you both own, the cost is the same as a Standard Pokémon you don’t own, such as a regional or a Unown form. But if one of you don’t have a Legendary or Shiny in a trade, then the cost jumps up massively.

Trade Evolution And More Pokmon Originally Discovered In Unova Are Here

Trade Evolution has long been an iconic mechanic in the main Pokémon series. We are excited to adapt this feature to Pokémon GO!
Trading certain Pokémon will result in no Candy cost to evolve them. More Pokémon originally discovered in the Unova region are also coming to Pokémon GOand some of them will benefit from the addition of trade Evolution, too.
Trade Evolution
- How it works: Trade an eligible Pokémon to lower the Candy cost to evolve them.
- Which Pokémon can gain Evolution benefits from trading? Kadabra, Machoke, Graveler, and Haunter are some Pokémon that can now benefit from trade Evolution. If you received one of these Pokémon in a trade in the pastcongratulations! That Pokémon will retroactively qualify for no Candy cost when you evolve it.
- Pokémon originally discovered in the Unova region that benefit from trade Evolution: Boldore, Gurdurr, Karrablast, and Shelmet are now appearing in Pokémon GO and will be eligible for trade Evolution benefits. And remember, Trainers: Boldores and Gurdurrs Evolutions, Gigalith and Conkeldurr, might be powerful Pokémon to have in your battle parties!

Is It Worth Powering Up Magikarp Before Evolving
There is zero benefit to powering up a Pokemon before the evolution, as their CP is simply taken off their BASE stats. Thus, the best option is to just collect Magikarp until you have 400 candy and select the best option at that time.

Pokémon Colosseum and Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness store save data on a Nintendo GameCube Memory Card. Players are prevented from saving the game if a save file on the Memory Card was not loaded or created when starting the game. To prevent cloning Pokémon, the player can only save to the Memory Card which was inserted when entering the mode selection screen. Attempting to save to a different Memory Card than was first inserted will result in an error message appearing and the game refusing to save the game. Additionally, the functionality to copy or move the game save data is disabled for both games.
Pokémon Colosseum requires the player to use the PC for saving. In Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, the player can save anywhere from the menu .
Pokémon Colosseum requires 48 blocks to save the game, while Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness requires only 43 blocks to save.
Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness will register a save as corrupted if the previous saved game has greater play time than the one it is being overwritten with.

How To Evolve Machop Into Machoke In Pokemon Quest
Machop follows the same pattern as he does in previous games in terms of evolutions. In order to evolve Machop into Machoke in Pokemon Quest, youll have to get it to level 28. Youll also have to make sure youve not got any Everstones equipped to it, which you can check in the pokemon stat menu.
Keep in mind that Machops moveset will change when evolving, as will some of the Bingo Bonuses you have associated with it. Youll likely learn Submission, but remember you can also teach moves to your new Machoke anytime you want by putting it through Move Learning Training. How To Level Up Fast In Pokemon Quest
After a certain amount of XP is earned, Pokemon will level up. You earn XP predominantly through Expeditions, with pokemon in your team gaining it as they fight. There are bonuses added at the end of each Expedition, and youll see how much XP has been earned. If you would like to level up a pokemon in Pokemon Quest more quickly, you can use the Level Up Training feature. This is located in the menu for the pokemon you wish to train, simply select the pokemon and click on the Training Menu. In order to level up your pokemon, youll need to add in some pokemon for it to train against. To do this, drag some pokemon that you arent using in your active team into the support slots. If you can, use pokemon of the same type as the one you are training as you will be granted an XP bonus. While training is going on you wont have access to any of the pokemon involved, so be sure to choose wisely. You can speed the process along by spending PM Tickets. Once the training is complete, your pokemon will have levelled up.
