Legendary Pokemon aren’t the only rare creatures that you can find in the Dynamax Adventure. You can also find the rare Ultra Beasts if you manage to complete all of Peony’s legendary adventures in the Crown Tundra.

If you’re stuck on one of Peony’s adventures, here a look at the guide below:

Once you’ve finished all of the above quests, make sure you return to tell Peony and, after some minor events, you’ll unlock the ability to fight Ultra Beasts in the Dynamax Adventure.

Like Legendary Pokémon, Ultra Beasts will appear randomly within the Dynamax Adventures so it might be a while till you manage to find one.

When you do, you’ll need to battle and defeat it just like you would any other Pokémon. If you do manage to defeat it, you’ll be given the chance to catch and keep the Ultra Beast.

Legendary Pokmon List For Dynamax Adventures: Which Legendaries Are Exclusive To Pokmon Sword Or Shield

Throughout your Dynamax Adventure in the Crown Tundra, you’ll find yourself battling against Legendary Pokémon from previous generations and, if you manage to defeat them, you’ll be offered the opportunity to catch them.

It’s important to know that, while you can encounter a Legendary Pokémon multiple times, you can only catch it once. This means that shiny hunters or trainers looking for specific stats might have to battle the same Legendary Pokémon multiple times, putting off the chance to catch it, until the right version of that Legendary Pokémon appears in the Dynmax Adventures.

Luckily, you can keep a record of up to three Legendary Pokémon, either from purchasing their location from Peonia for five pieces of Dynie Ore or encountering them yourself. These records will allow you to select this Legendary as the final boss for your Dynamax Adventure, ensuring you have an encounter with one of them.

A number of these Legendary Pokémon are, however, exclusive to either Pokémon Sword or Shield, which means that, playing by yourself, you won’t be able to find them in a Dynamax Adventures.

How To Catch New Ultra Beasts

There are four Ultra Beasts that are new to;Ultra Sun and;Ultra Moon. One of these is Poipole, AKA UB Adhesive, which you will receive as a gift Pokémon during the main story immediately after defeating Ultra Necrozma in Ultra Megalopolis. Another new Ultra Beast is Naganadel, which Poipole will evolve into upon leveling up while knowing the move Dragon Pulse. Poipole can only learn Dragon Pulse via TM or Move Relearner.

The other two new Ultra Beasts are Stakataka, AKA UB Assembly, and Blacephalon, AKA UB Burst. These two can be caught in the post-game. After you have defeated the Elite Four and become the Alolan Champion, continue the game and attempt to leave your house. You will be given a new mission by the Ultra Recon Squad who state that Ultra Beasts have been terrorizing Poni Island. They will take you to a previously closed off location where you can find Stakataka in;Ultra Moon or Blacephalon in;Ultra Sun. They will appear in the grass like normal Pokémon, however, there will be only two of each available to catch. Prior to this, the Ultra Recon Squad will give you a few Beast Balls to catch these Ultra Beasts.

In The Crown Tundra, the Ultra Beasts, excluding Poipole and Naganadel, can be found in Dynamax Adventures after finding the fourth Legendary Clue. How To Catch Zygarde

After you have defeated the Elite Four and become the Champion of the Alola region, you will have the opportunity to catch Zygarde. In the post-game, a large section of Poni Island that was previously closed off is now open to explore. One of the areas now available is Resolution Cave, which is where you will find Zygarde. Zygarde will be on Level 60 and know the moves Lands Wrath, Glare, Safeguard and Dragon Breath.

After you have captured this Zygarde, you can return to the small, white Aether building on Route 16 where Sina and Dexio will be waiting for you. Here, Sina and Dexio will inform you about Zygarde Cells and give you a Zygarde Cube. Then Dexio will battle you and after you win, he will give you another Zygarde. This Zygarde is in its 10% stage, is on Level 63 and knows the moves Crunch, Earthquake, Camouflage and Dragon Pulse. With both Zygardes as well as the cells in the Zygarde Cube, you now have a total of 100 Zygarde Cells, meaning you can use the machine in this building to create a Zygarde with the ability Power Construct, which will allow it to attain its Perfect Form in battle once its health drops below half.

How To Catch Cosmog

After you have defeated the Elite Four and become the Champion of the Alola region, you will have the opportunity to get a Cosmog. To do this, you will need to have Solgaleo/Lunala in your party, then return to the Altar of the Sunne/Moone at night in;Ultra Sun or during the day in;Ultra Moon. Once you are there, you will find a dimensional rift which you can interact with. Doing so will prompt a message, asking you if you want to go to Ultra Megalopolis, the Ultra Wormhole or the Reverse World. Go to the Reverse World. Here, you will be transported to an alternate dimension where things are mostly the same, but the time of day has been flipped. This means that it will be night in the game when it is day in real life and day in the game when it is night in real life in;Ultra Sun or day in the game when it is day in real life and night in the game when it is night in real life in;Ultra Moon. In the Reverse World,; travel to the Lake of the Sunne/Moone, which is to the northeast of Ulaula Meadow on Ulaula Island. Here, Cosmog will appear and join your party voluntarily. Cosmog will be on Level 5 and only know Splash.

• Battle Calyrex who will then request your help
• You will have to talk to the villagers a few times for Calyrex
• Find the mayor in the northside of Giant’s Bed
• Get Carrot Seeds for Dynite Ore in Freezington from the farmer in the center area near the statue
• You will have to choose whether to plant the Seeds it in the Icy Area or in the Old Cemetry.
• Icy Area for Glastrier
• Battle the specific Pokémon chosen and it will run away
• Have the Mayor make the Reins of Unity
• Visit the shrine with the carrot to lure it
• Calyrex will re-tame Glastrier/Spectrier and defeat the combined form to capture it.
• You will need to be Champion to capture Calyrex
• Calyrex is level 80 and Shiny Locked
• Once caught you can unfuse it to get Glastrier/Spectrier
• To get the Glastrier/Spectrier you didn’t choose, you will need to trade or playthrough the quest again on another account and transfer it from Pokémon HOME.
