How To Get Espeon And Umbreon In Pokemon Go

How To Evolve Eevee Into Sylveon In Pokemon Sword & Shield

For Espeon and Umbreon, the two Gen 2 Eeveelutions, there is a method to obtaining each. Simply add Eevee as your buddy and have it walk with you for 10km. Once that requirement is complete, evolve your Eevee during the day for Espeon and at night for Umbreon. Be careful, however, as sometimes Pokemon Go doesnt reflect night and day like in real life. Check the color of the sky in-game to make sure it is nighttime where you are before evolving.

Earn Buddy Hearts For Eevee

The second way to ensure a Sylveon Eeveelution is to earn Buddy Hearts. Take note that you can do this alongside the Kira trick. You need to reach at least 70 Buddy Hearts on the Eevee. To earn Buddy Hearts, swap the Eevee as your Buddy Pokemon.

Buddy Hearts will stay even if you swap your Buddy Pokemon, so dont worry about losing progress. Getting all those Buddy Hearts to ensure a very high friendship level for Eevee. Once at a high friendship, it should be ready to turn into Sylveon.

At that point, check that its evolution silhouette is Sylveon. Once the silhouette shows Sylveon, theres no chance for it to evolve into an Umbreon or Espeon Sylveon is entirely ensured.

To complete the evolution, feed your high friendship Eevee that 25 Eevee candy, and await your Sylveon! Hopefully, by then it will gain a Fairy-type attack.

And thats all there is to it. Like every other Pokemon evolution, choose your Eevee with the best CP and stats. Do this and youll end up with the best and strongest Sylveon possible!

Pokemon Go: How To Evolve Eevee Into Sylveon

A new Eevee evolution has been added to Pokemon Go here are two ways to evolve Eevee into the Fairy-type Pokemon Sylveon.

A new Eevee evolution has arrived in Pokemon Go. The Fairy-type Pokemon Sylveon is now available in Niantic’s mobile game as part of the Luminous Legends Y event, making this your first chance to add one to your collection. Much like the other Eevee evolutions, there are two different ways to obtain the new Fairy Pokemon, so here’s a rundown on how to evolve Eevee into Sylveon in Pokemon Go.

What Is Eevee Strongest Evolution

Vaporeon is probably the evolution most Pokémon Go players would point to as being the strongest of the group since it has been heavily used since the game launched. It is a solid Water-type that rivals a lot of the harder-to-get Pokémon and is only outclassed by the likes of Kyogre and other monsters.

Is Sylveon In Pokemon Go Worth It

How to Evolve Eevee into Sylveon in Pokemon GO

Sylveon wont be one of Pokemon GOs greatest in all likelihood, but its use as a strong counter to Dragon, Dark, and Fighting-type Pokemon gives it a good utility role if needed. While Pokemon GO trainers probably wont consider it a staple, expect to see it in rotation in battles, especially against Dragons.

Alternate Eevee Evolution Methods For Leafeon Glaceon Umbreon And Espeon

Gen 4’s Leafeon and Glaceon have a second Eevee evolution method, by using the Mossy Lure or Glacial Lure respectively. When you’re in range of that PokéStop with the Lure enabled, go to your Eevee and choose the Evolution.

Meanwhile, Gen 2’s Umbreon and Espeon also have a second Eevee evolution method. Walk your Eevee as a Buddy for 10km, then evolve it either during the night or day and it’ll turn into the desired evolution.

Note you specifically need to walk 10k and earn two Candies in the process, then keep Eevee as your Buddy when evolving, and be either day or night during the game itself for it to work .

Since the naming trick only works once per evolution type, this appears to be a useful way to get a second Espeon or Umbreon with some reliability.

The Final Eeveelution Is Finally Available

When Pokémon Go released back in 2016, one of the biggest questions at the time was how to get the three Eeveelutions that people love. Since that time, weve seen four additional Eeveelutions be added to the game from their respective generations. This has left us with only one more Eeveelution to go with the sixth generation Sylveon, but now they have been added into the game. As always, there are two ways to get this Eeveelution and this guide will explain exactly how you can get Sylveon in Pokémon GO.

In need of a Fairy-type?

Eevee is one of the most popular Pokémon in the history of the series, so you better believe you can get her in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Part of her popularity stems from all the different evolutions that are available for her.

For those wondering how this article will detail the method of having Eevee evolve in Sylveon. Remember, you will need an Eevee for each evolution that you wish to perform, so to get them all done you will need to find nine in total if you also wish to hold on to a normal Eevee.

How To Get And Use The Glacial Lure & Mossy Lure To Get Glaceon And Leafeon

How To Evolve Eevee Into Sylveon In Pokemon Sword & Shield

The final current Eeveelutions available in Pokemon Go are Glaceon and Leafeon, and this duo has the most specific evolution method yet.

First of all, don’t forget that you can do the name trick once again to get Glaceon and Leafeon for the first time. As detailed above, name your Eevee Rea to have it evolve to Glaceon, and name your Eevee Linnea to have it evolve to Leafeon. After that, however, you’ll need to fulfil special requirements to evolve more of these Pokemon.

Specifically, in order to evolve more Eevee into Glaceon or Leafeon, you’ll need some new items: the Glacial Lure and the Mossy Lure. These two new types of Lure Module are available in the shop and will soon be appearing as Field Research Rewards. These lures exist to make you more able to catch different Pokemon – the Glacial lures in Water and Ice type Pokemon, while the Mossy attracts Bug and Grass types.

There’s an added benefit to these, however: when they’re placed, they can impact Eevee Evolution. Simply place one of the lures in a Pokestop if you place the Mossy Lure you’ll be able to evolve any Eevee you have into Leafeon while standing in that Pokestop’s radius . If you place the Glacial Lure on a Pokestop, that’s when you’ll be able to evolve into Glaceon – just remain within the Pokestop’s radius. This works even if you didn’t place the lure, too, so you can share this chance with other players.

Each of Eevees eight evolutions has different stats and weaknesses. Knowing these will help you choose what to keep from your mega Community Day haul.

All eight Eeveelutions are now available in Pokémon GO: Sylveon, Umbreon, Espeon, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Leafeon and Glaceon.

Should You Get A Sylveon

The Fairy-type is an interesting mechanic because it was introduced in Gen 6. This means that Sylveon is one of the few impressive Fairy-types that you can get in any game. Keep in mind as well that Sylveon is only available from Gen 6 onwards. You cant get a Sylveon in the older games, so all you have to think about is getting one in the later games.

The only other evolution that may rival Sylveon is Espeon. Both of them are impressive when it comes to their Special stats. Sylveons advantage is that it can be a good support Pokemon. Depending on how you play it, you can have Sylveon be the offensive type or just be a support. You will rely on other Pokemon in your team.

Plus, Fairy-types are effective against Dragon-types because the latter is usually strong. Theres also a consensus that Sylveon is good in PVE but not that viable when it comes to PVP or competitive Pokemon battles. Any Steel or Poison-type can possibly knock out Sylveon when they have a high Attack. Good examples would be Tentacruel and Scizor.
