What Pokemon Are In Lets Go
Masuda confirmed that the first 150 Pokemon as well as their Alolan forms from Sun and Moon would appear in Lets Go Pikachu and Lets Go Eevee. We dont know yet if youll unlock an expanded Pokedex when beating the game, like in the remakes of previous generations. Additionally, each version has slightly different Pokemon available .
Eevees prominence in these games doesnt come as a surprise Eevee has been heavily featured with Pikachu in several recent Pokemon Center merchandise series, the most recent of which, Saiko Soda, is currently only available in Japan. Eevee was also your rivals starter Pokemon in Pokemon Yellow, which makes it the natural opposite of Pikachu for the two Lets Go versions.
During Nintendos E3 2018 presentation, it was confirmed that Mew would be available in the Lets Go games via the Poke Ball Plus controller. Every Poke Ball Plus will come with a Mew already stored on the device, and this is the only way to get Mew in the Lets Go games you wont be able to transfer Mew from Pokemon Go to Lets Go.
You Can Catch The Kanto Starters In The Wild
Though it makes sense when you think about it, this is worth a special mentionyoull be able to catch the Kanto starters in the wild in the Lets Go games. During a hands-on demo, we caught both a Pikachu and a Bulbasaur in the new Viridian Forest. While Pikachu was found there in the original Red and Blue, Bulbasaur were not found in the wild previously.
Pokemon Lets Go How To Get Alolan Forms
Alolan Forms are a unique type of Pokémon in Pokémon Lets Go. There are a number of different Alolan Form Pokémon to collect in the game, but the requirements to get them are quite different when you look down the list of them. Some Alolan Form Pokémon are exclusive to each version of the game. So which Alolan Forms you can get depends on what version of the game you are playing.
There are a number of Alolan Form Pokémon that can be got in both the Pikachu and Eevee version of the game. These include Alolan Raichu, Alolan Rattata, Alolan Diglett, Alolan Geodude, Alolan Exeggutor, and Alolan Marowak. The following Pokémon can only be obtained in Pokémon Lets Go Pikachu: Alolan Grimer and Alolan Sandshrew. The following Pokémon can only be obtained in Pokémon Lets Go Eevee: Alolan Meowth and Alolan Vulpix.
No matter which game you pick you wont be finding these Pokémon in the wild. There are certain requirements to find each one.
Lets Go Pikachu: Your Own Eevee
If you dont want to choose between Eevee and Pikachu and are okay with one that you cant dress up, then do keep in mind that there are other Eevees you can get in both versions. Going to Route 17, you will be able to find them in both Lets Go games, but with a rare rate of showing up.
Theyre hard to find, but you arent completely locked off from Eevees if you go with Lets Go, Pikachu. Also, unlike the starter Eevee, you can evolve captured Eevees regardless of your game into Jolteon, Vaporeon, and Flareon too.

Legendary Pokmon Take Flight
To be fair, threeof the four Legendary Pokémon in Pokémon:Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’sGo, Eevee!Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltrescan be encountered before becomingthe Pokémon League Champion. But you need to decide whether you want to attemptto catch them before or after taking on the EliteFour. Unlike most wild Pokémon encounters in these games, you will have tobattle the Legendary Pokémon before attempting to catch them. Holding off onyour attempts gives your Pokémon team time to level up more, potentially makingthe battles easier. On the other hand, if you do manage to catch them beforearriving at the Indigo Plateau, you can bring them into your battles againstthe Elite Four.
Articuno can befound deep within the cave in the Seafoam Islands, which is located on Route 20along the southern edge of the Kanto region. This Ice- and Flying-type Pokémonhas a double weakness to Rock-type moves, but Fire-, Electric-, and Steel-type moveswill prove useful as well.
Zapdos hangs out atthe Power Plant, which can only be reached by using Sea Skim on Route 10 to reach the out-of-the-way facility. As anElectric- and Flying-type Pokémon, Zapdos is weak against Ice- and Rock-typemoves. Ground-type Pokémon won’t take damage from the Legendary Pokémon’sElectric-type moves, but at the same time, remember that Zapdos isn’t affectedby Ground-type moves.
Where To Get Alolan Raichu In Pokemon Let’s Go
Alolan Raichu is for our money one of the best Alola forms – I mean, it takes Raichu, universally rejected over its preceeding evolution, and makes it psychic so it can ride its own tail like a surfboard. What’s not to love? In Pokemon Let’s Go you can find an Alolan native trainer who agrees – and she’s willing to trade for a regular Raichu. Find the trainer in the Saffron City Pokemon Center.
The Alolan Raichu arrives at Level 30. Remember, the buddy Pikachu starter Pokemon can’t evolve, so you’ll need to catch and evolve another Pikachu for this quest even in Let’s Go Pikachu.

Bill Fuses With A Nidorino Instead Of A Clefairy
In the events of the games that start in the Kanto region, the genius Bill accidentally fuses with a Pokémon and gives the player an S.S. Anne ticket when they help the inventor defuse.
In the original games, its implied that he accidentally merged with a Clefairy, while in the Lets Go titles, he explicitly combines with a Nidorino. Maybe, this change happened because its easier to depict a Nidorino with more human-like features, but either way, this is still an unsettling event in these childrens games.

Transferring From Pokmon Go
The other way to obtain Alolan Pokémon in your Pokémon Lets Go game is by transferring them from the Pokémon Go mobile app. To do this, you need to go to the Go Park, which is located in Fuchsia City. This replaces the Safari Zone from the original versions of the Gen 1 Pokémon games.
This feature allows you to get some of the Alolan forms earlier than you would otherwise. It also lets you complete your collection by transferring Pokémon that arent available in your version of the game. You may also want to do this to have extras of your favorites, or if you want to create a living Pokédex featuring each Pokémon alongside their evolved forms.

Whats Similar To Previous Games
If youve ever played a Pokémon video game before, the first few steps like naming your character or choosing your gender and skin tone are the same so things will feel very familiar. After exploring your home a little, youll try to leave town only to run into Professor Oak, go back to his lab, and get your first Pokémon a Pikachu in Pokémon: Lets Go, Pikachu!or an Eevee inPokémon: Lets Go, Eevee!. Both versions still feel generally like a Pokémon game and youll immediately know whats going to happen and when, but now youll get to see it play out on your TV in beautifully rendered 3-D graphics.
There are slight changes to the game that make it easy for newbies to catch on quick, but there are more similarities than there are differences. Youll still fight Team Rocket, battle gym leaders, and make your way through the Elite Four. Eventually, youll still be able to catch the ultra-rare Mewtwo and attempt to complete your Pokédex. Youll also get the opportunity to train and evolve the original three starters, so if youre a fan of Pikachu, Charmander, and Bulbasaur, dont feel like theyre absent from the game.

How To Get Alolan Pokmon In Lets Go
There are two ways to obtain Alolan forms of Kanto Pokémon in Lets Go, Pikachu! and Lets Go, Eevee! The simplest way is to trade for them via in-game trades with NPCs throughout your adventure. Various NPCs you encounter throughout your journey will offer to give you an Alolan Pokémon in exchange for its Kanto region counterpart. Most of these trades are available in both versions of the game, however, there are two exclusive Alolan Pokémon available for trade in each version of the game.
The second way to obtain Alolan Pokémon in Lets Go is to transfer them from the Pokémon Go mobile app. This option requires you to have reached the Go Park in Fuchsia City in game, as well as to have captured the Pokémon in Pokémon Go.

The most common differences in any Pokémon game are the Pokémon themselves, as some species are only available in Lets Go, Pikachu that you cannot find in Lets Go, Eevee, and vice-versa. For Lets Go, Pikachu this includes the Sandshrew, Oddish, Growlithe, Mankey, Grimer, and Scyther families.
If you do wish to truly catch em all, you can always trade with friends to get these. But if any of them are your favorites and you want to include in your team, youll have to make some choices.

Difference Between Lets Go Pikachu And Eevee
1. Starting Partner
The first and foremost difference between these two is the starting partner. Your starting partner in Lets Go Pikachu is Pikachu while in Lets go Eevee is Eevee. As it seems obvious but choosing your starting partner will remain with you from the beginning.
2. Exclusive Pokémon
Another main difference in these is the exclusive Pokémon. Some species are only available in Pokémon Lets Go Pikachu while they cannot find in the Pokémon lets go Eevee and vice versa. In Lets Go Pikachu, includes the Sandshrew, Oddish, Growlithe, Mankey, Grimer, and Scyther families while in Lets Go Eevee you can find Vulpix, Meowth, Bellsprout, Ekans, Koffing, and Pinsir families.
3. Special Moves
Pikachu and Eevee have some special moves which they can learn from their Move tutor in different cities. Pikachu can learn three special moves such as flying, and water attack type moves while Eevee can learn eight special moves from the move tutor. As these both cannot evolve, these special moves can make them more powerful.
4. Own Pikachu and Eevee
If you do not want to choose between Pikachu and Eevee, and you are okay with one that you cannot dress up then you can get your Eevee and Pikachu on Route 17 and Viridian Forest respectively. Keep in your mind that the chances of finding them in both versions are rare.
5. In-game Trades
Red And Blue Have Totally New Teams
In the Pokémon Lets Go games, a player can battle the protagonist and rival from the first generation of Pokémon games. Named Red and Blue, respectively, its interesting to note that they have completely new teams from any other iteration of the characters.
This is a pretty fun change-up and, while the two are no less challenging than when theyre battled in other games, its unexpected that their parties would change after having basically the same pool of monsters for nearly two decades.

You Can Add Spin To Throws Like In Pokmon Go
Just like in the Pokémon GO mobile game, a player can add spin to their Pokéballs when throwing them at wild monsters. This feature isnt super well telegraphed by the game, but it is present in the console titles and has the same effect as its mobile counterpart.
While curving a toss does make it more difficult to have a ball connect with a monster, it also increases the chances of actually capturing a creature. This added level of challenge is definitely appreciated as catching wild monsters can get a bit repetitive.
Where To Find Meowth In Pokmon Lets Go
Meowth is a version-exclusive Pok émon, meaning players can only catch a Meowth in Pok émon Lets Go Eevee, and not Lets Go Pikachu.
Players will be able to easily catch a Meowth in Lets Go Eevee rather early on in the game. Outside of Cerulean City, past Nugget Bridge, there are two areas of grass to the left of the bridge. Meowth will spawn in those grassy areas.
Pok émon Lets Go Pikachu players, on the other hand, will be unable to get a Meowth naturally during their own playthrough of the game. They will need to trade with a Pok émon Lets Go Eevee player

Is There Trading And Do They Connect To Pokemon Bank
Masuda confirmed that you will be able to trade Pokemon between the Lets Go games. Transferring Pokemon from Go only works in the one direction. When asked about Pokemon Bank, he said he could not comment he also did not comment on whether the Lets Go games would be compatible with present or future Pokemon games.

Collecting Both Pikachu And Eevee
Just because you choose Eevee version doesnt mean you wont be able to get a Pikachu, and vice versa. Pikachu is easy to find in the wild as early as Viridian City theyre not the most common finds, but you can grab multiple Pikachu without putting in too much effort.
Eevee, meanwhile, was never available to catch in the wild in the original Game Boy games. Lets Go! draws heavily on these, so we imagine it works the same way: Theres a single Eevee a player can grab, and it requires sneaking into the backdoor of the Celadon City mansion.
Pikachu lovers who want an Eevee will most likely have to rely on trading with someone else someone who already traded themselves an Eevee from Pokémon Go.

Theres Much More Freedom Than In The Original Games
While all Pokémon games have some degree of openness, the Lets Go titles let a player do the fifth, sixth, and seventh gyms in any order they want. A player can take on the ninja Koga, psychic Sabrina, or quiz master Blaine in whichever order they choose.
This level of freedom is largely due to gym badges no longer affecting a players ability to traverse water. Even if this section of the game might appear as linear as past portions, this hidden openness is definitely a nice touch.
