What Is The Best Eevee Evolution In Pokemon Go

Umbreon is arguably the best Eevee evolution form in Pokemon Go as it has great use in PvP, especially in the Great League and the Ultra League. It also comes with some powerful moves, making it one of the top Dark-type Pokemon in the game.
Sylveon as Fairy-type Pokemon dominates Dragon-type Pokemon so it will find great use in the Master League, rather than the Great and Ultra Leagues. It is a great alternative to Togekiss or Gardevoir, which are harder to build.
While not a PvP king anymore, Vaporeon is a great Water-type that performs well in both PvP and PvE. It is a great alternative for players that don’t have a strong Kyogre or Gyarados.
Glaceon and Leafeon are just decent choices in their Pokemon types respectively, which have some potential in the Master League when fighting with a type advantage.
Ideally, you would want to skip Jolteon, Espeon, and Flareon entirely as they are the weakest Eevee evolutions, although Espeon has some good PvE potential if you lack a more powerful Psychic-type Pokemon.
How To Get A Sylveon In Pokmon Go Without Cheats
As mentioned above, this trick will only work once per Eveelution type, so if you want to get more Sylveon, youll need to follow other steps to get your Eevee to evolve into a Sylveon in a guaranteed way.
In this case, youll need to choose an Eevee to foster a relationship with and accumulate hearts. You will have to choose it as your companion, feed it, pet it, play with it, fight with it, take photos of it or visit Pokepstops with it. This way, you will increase the amount of hearts you have with your Eevee and, when you reach 70 hearts, it will evolve into Sylveon.
Its a longer process, but its the only option if youve already used the previous trick.

There is another method to evolve an Eevee to Espeon or Umbreon , and it is to walk. The process is the following:
- Select as a partner the Eevee that we want to evolve.
- Walk 10 kilometers with him.

We will still have to wait a bit to get Sylveons evolution in Pokémon GO, the only one of Eevee that is missing . This is a sixth generation Pokémon, so considering that we are still enjoying the fourth, which came to the game in October 2018 , it seems that at least until 2020 we will not see it.

Name Trick Method For Evolving Eevee Into Espeon
One of the two ways that Pokemon GO trainers can turn their Eevee into an Espeon is by using a naming trick that was discovered quite some time ago. By changing Eevees name to Sakura, itll automatically turn into Espeon once it has been fed 25 Eevee Candies.

To change the name of a Pokemon, players will want to go into the Pokemons profile and then hit the pencil icon by its current name. This will allow for the changing of a Pokemons nickname. Its worth noting that this trick will only work one time per evolution type, meaning that players will not be able to get multiple Espeons from this exploit. Make sure to pick the perfect Eevee with the best stats before the decision is made.
Once the nickname has been changed, players will need to select the Evolve option in the Pokemons data screen. Pokemon GO will then make the player confirm the evolution, and then the Espeon will be there to greet them. Of course, trainers can always change the nickname to something else or just name it Espeon, depending on how they play. Changing Sakura to anything else will not cancel out the evolution or somehow revert the Espeon back into an Eevee.

How To Evolve Multiple Leafeons And Glaceons With A Lure Module
There’s also another method to evolve Eevee into Leafeon and Glaceon – perhaps the most obvious way if you’ve had a look in the game’s shop.
Available from the in-game store for 200 coins apiece, the Mossy and Glacial Lure Modules work just like the ordinary Lure Modules in the game. Simply buy whichever one takes your fancy and use it on a nearby PokéStop.
- Mossy Lure Module – Used to evolve Eevee into Leafeon
- Glacial Lure Module – Used to evolve Eevee into Glaceon
You’ll notice that it attracts specific types of Pokémon to your area, but click on one of the Eevees in your collection while within range of the PokéStop and you’ll see that its evolution button has changed to the respective target evolution. Hit the button and Eevee will evolve into Leafeon or Glaceon right before your eyes .
Make sure you’re within range of the PokéStop and that the evolution button is indicating a new evolution before you press it, rather than displaying the usual Eevee question mark symbol.
It’s also worth noting that these Lure Modules behave just like the ordinary variants within the game. This means that if another player has used a special Eevee Lure Module on a nearby PokéStop, you can swoop in and use it to evolve your own Eevee. .
How To Evolve Eevee Into Espeon And Umbreon
Espeon and Umbreon do have a secondary means of securing their evolutions, though it takes a little more effort than a simple name change or purchasing a Lure Module.
This method is probably the most involved of all but if your heart is set then itll be worth it. For these Generation 2 evolutions, you have to set your Eevee as your buddy and have it walk with you for 10km in order to earn two candies .
Once thats done, you can evolve your Eevee, but the time of day shown in-game will determine which of the evolutions you get. Evolve Eevee during the day and youll get the Psychic-type Espeon. At night, on the other hand, youll get the Dark-type Umbreon.
This trick can be somewhat finicky, so do make sure that Eevee is still your buddy when you evolve it and ensure that you have GPS signal so that the game has the time of day absolutely right where you are. Fortunately, this isnt limited like the nicknames so you can do it as often as you like .
