Thanks to Pokémon Home and some crazy, convoluted trading mechanics, trainers can finally get Meltan and Melmetal in Pokémon Sword and Shieldbut itll require you to own another Pokémon game in the series.
Since Pokémon Go transfers arent available to Pokémon Home at time of writing, youll need to go through a long drawn-out process using the Lets Go games to add these creatures to your teams.
First, you need to have captured a Meltan or Melmetal in Pokémon Go through the weird mystery box feature of the game and transferred either Pokémon to Pokémon: Lets Go, Pikachu! or Lets Go, Eevee! on your Nintendo Switch.
Next, after opening Pokémon Home, you need to transfer that Meltan from the Lets Go games into a Home box. Then, transfer it from Pokémon Home to Sword and Shield, where youll finally be able to use it.
Meltan and Melmetal will only receive their abilities after being transferred to Sword and Shield, so you wont know its stats until then. You also cant transfer it back to Lets Go after doing this process.

One great way to hatch your eggs is to keep the game open while you ride the city bus. The bus typically goes slow enough that the game thinks you are walking, and you should be able to even turn some PokeStops along the way.
Pro tip: No need to scream that you need to get off the bus when passing a Snorlax or a Pikachu. Just quickly tap on the Pokemon to draw it into battle, slide the AR toggle switch in the upper right-hand corner and start battling. This will turn off the AR and allow you to catch the Pokemon without stopping.
You can even lay your phone on a record player or tape it to a ceiling fan to rack up distance, but be careful doing this. It may crack more than just some eggs.
When the game was new, these cheats were easier, but lately Niantic seems to be cracking down on players who try loopholes in the game. Although its cool being able to see a Pokémon sitting around in the real world, having to wave your phone around to hunt for it is a chore, and it adds precious time when you just want to catch something quickly.

How To Hatch Eggs In Pokmon Go
To hatch an egg, put the egg in an Incubator. All players will have one orange Incubator that they can use forever. Incubators can only hold one egg at a time. All other Incubators can be used three times before they disappear. Additional Incubators are purchased with coins .
Regular Incubators hatch eggs the same way the orange unlimited Incubator does, but Super Incubators cut the distance you need to hatch by one-third.
Having more than one Incubator means being able to incubate more than one egg at a time and thus more hatches for the same amount of walking. Its by no means mandatory to use more than the free unlimited Incubator, but if youd like to speed up your progress, its an option.
After your egg is in an Incubator, you just have to walk around. If you have Adventure Sync turned on, you can walk around with the app closed to hatch eggs.

Raid Battlereward And Egg

We will soon be conducting some tests regarding Raid Battle rewards and Egg management. The details of the tests are as follows.
- Raid Battle rewards will be adjusted in the United Kingdom and Ireland. These adjustments will be temporary and will begin on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. PST and end in early January.
- Egg-management tests will take place with some Trainers globally in two variations. In both variations, Trainers will be able to store up to three additional Eggs from weekly Adventure Sync rewards and Team GO Rocket Leader battles if they already have nine Eggs in their Egg storage. In the first variation, all 12 Eggs will appear in the same section in the Egg-storage tab. In the second variation, the additional Eggs will appear in the Bonus Storage section in the Egg storage tab. Trainers involved in either of the test variations will also notice that newly acquired Eggs will not count toward their Pokémon storage limit until the Eggs are placed in Incubators. Both variations of this test will begin on Friday, December 11, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. PST and will continue for an indefinite amount of time. Based on the results, more Trainers will be brought into the tests over time.

Look at it this way: If you have a 3-use Incubator and you use it for 2 km eggs, it’ll disappear after 6 km. If you use it for 10 km eggs, you’ll get 30 km out of it, or 5x the distance for your money.

How Celebi Event A Ripple In Time Works In Pokmon Go
Catching Celebi works much like Mew did back in the first half of 2018, becoming available as part of a Special Research quest line named A Ripple in Time.
To get started, you need to have completed the third group of tasks for MewsA Mythical Discovery. Like Mew, theres no time limit to completing the quest line so take your time!
Celebi is also has also recieved its shiny form in Pokémon Go.
