Pokmon Go Blastoise Analysis

Mega Blastoise is a pure Water-type Pokémon, meaning its strong against Rock, Ground, and Fire-types, but weak against Grass and Electric Types. Mega Blastoise also hits hard and has a lot of HP, so dont expect this to be an easy fight even with type advantages.

Making matters worse, Mega Blastoise can also have a wide variety of moves at its disposal. Water Gun and Bite are possible Fast Moves, while Charge Moves can include Flash Cannon, Ice Beam, Hydro Pump, and Skull Bash. Ice Beam can be particularly brutal against Grass-type Pokémon, and Hydro Pump can still one-hit KO a Pokémon even if it doesnt have a type disadvantage against it.

Keep an eye on what Pokémon types the raid lobby recommends before entering a fight with Mega Blastoise. If it recommends Electric but not Grass, that means Blastoise will likely have Ice Beam as its Charge Move. If thats the case, dont bring any of the recommended Grass-type counters below.

Rainy weather will boost both Water and Electric-type moves, so keep in mind that rain is a double-edged sword here. Sunny or clear weather will boost Grass-type moves and provide a more clear advantage over Mega Blastoise.

Note On Mega Evolutions

Mega Evolutions are calculated a little differently on this list due to the fact that players can only have one at a time. Because of this limitation, some very strong Mega Evolutions may end up on tiers lower than other Pokemon within their;types, as their meta tends to be;more competitive. A lower placement on a Mega Evolution does not necessarily;make it worse than its competition.

For Fletchling, speed almost always leads to a quick victory. Unlike other Pokemon, its attacks indeed suffer from rather middling damage numbers. However, their quick-charge natures mean Fletchling can theoretically outpace enemies with how many times it can throw its Charged Attacks. With the right moveset, Fletchling can become a force to reckon with, especially when timing is involved.

Best Moveset For Genesect In Pokmon Go

Despite being able to learn a Water-type version of Techno Blast in its Douse form, the move is not worth keeping to use in raids. Genesect is one of the few Bug-type Pokémon in Pokémon Go to have good stats, meaning Genesect is best used as a Bug-type attacker with Fury Cutter as its fast move and X-Scissor as its charged move. Alternatively, Genesect can be used as a Steel-type attacker with Metal Claw as its fast move and Magnet Bomb as its charged move. Since Genesect is 4x weak to Fire, and only fire, Techno Blast can be useful as a third move in PvP, however, its extremely expensive for a Mythical or Legendary Pokémon to learn a third move and Genesect isnt a top pick for PvP, either.

It’s also important to keep in mind types! While some Pokémon only have one type, most have two and all Pokémon can learn moves from multiple types. Although most Pokémon have a single moveset that is the best for their whole species, there are some Pokémon who have multiple sets. Take Chandelure, for example; Chandelure is a Fire and Ghost type and can be one of the best of either. If you’re using your Chandelure as a Fire type, you’ll want it to know Fire Spin and Overheat, but if you’re going for Ghost type, you’ll want Hex and Shadow Ball.

The Little Jungle Cup in Pokémon Go has four restrictions you need to keep in mind when selecting your team.

The first is that both Pokémon who can’t and can’t evolve can enter the Little Jungle Cup. Admittedly, this is less of a restriction and more of an opportunity for experimentation.

The second is that the CP limit is 500, so your choices must either meet or be below this number.

Thirdly, only Pokémon which have one of the following types can be entered in the Little Jungle Cup – bug, dark, electric, flying, grass, ground, normal and poison. This means you have a pure bug-type Pokémon like Caterpie on your team, along the steel and flying-type Skarmory.

The main thing to work around with Hoopas Confined state is its awful defenses. You wont have any survivability, so make sure to only bring it out when you know you have an advantage or can clean up a game without having it around in the later stages.;

Hoopa Confined has a max CP of 3,359 at level 40, with 261 Attack, 187 Defense, and 173 Stamina. As a Psychic/Ghost-type, Hoopa has access to the following moves, all of which are STAB and will deal large amounts of damage:

Is Altaria A Good Choice In Pokemon Go Pvp Battles

On paper, Altaria is a monster of a Pokemon that can dominate the Great League in Pokemon GO. Without the right preparation, it still can against many players. It would shine in the Ultra League as well if there wasn’t a low CP cap on Altaria.

However, many experienced players keep Ice and Fairy-type moves on their team to some degree. Altaria is so strong that most teams will have some sort of counter. Altaria has high defense, HP, and attack, but is countered heavily.

It’s weak to Dragon, Rock, Fairy, and is hit especially hard by Ice-type Pokemon. Altaria can still prove useful in many cases, but players should proceed in Pokemon GO battles with caution.

Best Pokemon Go Mewtwo Movesets

If youve managed to execute these counters and youve got yourself a Mewtwo, youll want to know which moves work best. Firstly, a lot of this will depend on how strong your Mewtwo is. You can find this out by selecting Appraise, following which your Team Leader will give you a Star Rating. The higher the rating, the stronger your Mewtwo will be in battle.

Out of all the possible movesets, there are three thatll prove most effective. First is having Confusion as your quick attack, and Psystrike as your charged attack. Thatll do 18.84 damage per second , and on average, 842 total damage throughout a fight .

The next two combinations are slightly less effective, but will still provide a strong attack. If you have Psycho Cut as your quick attack and Psystrike once again as your charged attack, youll deal a respectable 18.20 DPS, and a slightly lower 813.50 TDO. However, this combination is over 2 seconds quicker to execute than the first moveset, so if speed is your thing, this is worth considering.

Lastly, you can team up the reliable Confusion quick attack with the Psychic charged attack. Damage is slightly lower at 18.16 DPS, and again lower at 811.53 TDO. The time per attack is also slower than the previous option but this is a reliable alternative.

Best Moves For Genesect

Genesect is one of the strongest mythical Pokemon in the game, and if you want to leverage that offensive strength, the best moves to teach it are Metal Claw and Magnet Bomb. You can also replace the former attack with Fury Cutter to take advantage of Genesect’s bug typing, which will make it a more effective counter against psychic Pokemon. In terms of raw damage output, however, Metal Claw and Magnet Bomb are the best move choices for Genesect.
