How To Obtain Galarian Slowking In Pokmon Sword & Shield

Pokemon Sword & Shield The Isle Of Armor DLC How To Get Slowking

Much like how players were required to collect Galarica Twigs to craft a pair of Galarica Cuffs to evolve Slowpoke into Slowbro, they will once again need to collect 15 Galarica Twigs. This means that Galarian Slowking cant be found in the wild, but players will have to evolve a Galarian Slowpoke in order to obtain one. In the Isle of Armor, when a Galarian Slowpoke was given a set of Galarica Cuffs it would evolve into a Slowbro, but in the Crown Tundra, Slowpoke needs a Galarica Wreath to evolve into a Slowking.

Galarica Twigs can be found under trees in both the Crown Tundra and Isle of Armor. Players will need 15 of these to craft a Galarica Wreath. After collecting the required amount, head to the Frigid Sea of the Crown Tundra and find the woman inside the Roaring Sea Cave who can make Galarica Wreaths. She is found by heading to the left side of the Frigid Sea through a narrow river corridor. Once crafted, the player can give the Galarica Wreath to their Galarian Slowpoke and it will evolve into a Galarian Slowking.

It is important to note that Galarian Slowpoke can only be found on the Isle of Armor. Players will need to catch one on the Isle and bring it with them to the Crown Tundra. Evolving a Slowpoke is the only way to obtain a Slowking as they cannot be found in the wild, in max raids, or in raid dens.

Pokémon: Sword & Shield are available on the Nintendo Switch.

How To Get Galarian Slowking In Pokmon Sword And Shields The Crown Tundra Expansion

How does a wreath turn into a Shellder?

Pokémon Sword and Shields The Crown Tundra expansion does a lot of new things, but it also has several elements that carry over from the base games and the Isle of Armor expansion as well.

One of the biggest similarities is in how you evolve a Galarian Slowpoke into the newly released Galarian Slowking.

In the Isle of Armor, players needed to gather a handful of Galarica Twigs and have a specific NPC weave them together into a Galarica Cuff. Once given to the Galarian Slowpoke, itd evolve into a Galarian Slowbro.

In The Crown Tundra, you need to do something similar by collecting 15 Galarica Twigs and heading over to one of the smaller entrances of the Roaring-Sea Caves. Inside a specific entrance nestled to the left of the Frigid Sea, an NPC will offer to weave those twigs together into a Galarica Wreath.

That Galarica Wreath can then be given to your Galarian Slowpoke to evolve it into a Galarian Slowking. Once it evolves, you can instantly teach it its signature move, Eerie Spell.

To find Galarica Twigs, all you need to do is traverse either the Isle of Armor or Crown Tundra and interact with the sparkling item spots spread around the map. Some of these will end up being the twigs you need and you can use them to get either the Galarica Cuff or Galarica Wreath.

How To Evolve A Galarian Slowpoke Into A Galarian Slowking On Pokmon Go

Evolving a Galarian Slowpoke into a Galarian Slowking in Pokémon Go involves fulfilling a specific evolution requirement in a similar manner to evolving the same Pokémon into Galarain Slowbro.

To add a Galarian Slowking to your Pokédex in Pokémon Go, you first need to have a Galarian Slowpoke.

To evolve a Galarian Slowpoke into a Galarian Slowking you must have 50 Slowpoke candy and, while the Galarian Slowpoke is your buddy, catch 30 psychic-type Pokémon.

It’s only after filling this specific requirement that the option to evolve into Galarian Slowking will be unlocked.

Slowpoke candy can be collected by walking 3km with any Slowpoke as your buddy or by using Pinap Berries when catching any type of Slowpoke.

Fulfilling the psychic-type requirement, however, might be more complex depending on which biomes are near you.

For this reason, we recommend focusing on this challenge when psychic-types are appearing more frequently in the wild thanks to an event, such as the 2021 Halloween event, or during either a Community Day or Spotlight Hour focused around a specific psychic-type Pokémon.

The error connected to evolving Galarian Slowpoke into Galarian Slowpoke has now been resolved according to Niantic Support on Twitter.

Trainers, we have resolved the issue affecting Galarian Slowpoke evolution. More details regarding a make-good for affected Trainers is coming soon. We appreciate your patience and apologize for the inconvenience.

How To Get Galarian Slowking In Pokmon Go

To obtain a Galarian Slowking in Pokémon GO, follow these steps:

  • Obtain a Galarian Slowpoke and 50 Slowpoke Candy
  • Make the Galarian Slowpoke your Buddy and catch 30 Psychic Type Pokémon
  • The option to evolve into a Galarian Slowking should appear on the Galarian Slowpokes details

If you try to evolve the Slowpoke right now, it will simply evolve into a Galarian Slowbro. As a result, we must familiarise it with its soon-to-be Psychic typing. Make the Galarian Slowpoke your Buddy and capture at least 30 Psychic Type Pokémon in the wild to accomplish this. They can all be the same Pokémon, but the number is unchangeable.

Spinning Pokestops & Gyms

How to Get Galarian Slowking in The Crown Tundra – Pokemon Sword and Shield DLC

This is one of the easiest methods to start trying. Kings Rocks are still fairly rare in Pokemon GO, so youll need to spin many PokeStops and Gyms. Still, its a free method that will give you instant results. However, the items that drop are random and theres no assurance that youll even get any kind of evolution item. Fortunately, theres another method that has to do with spinning PokeStops and Gyms which is a bit more reliable.

Each time you do your first spin or catch your first Pokemon, youll see a counter appear on the screen indicating that you have a streak of a certain number of days up to seven. This is where the Kings Rock comes in.

After an update that was released back in 2017, the seventh consecutive PokeStop or Gym spin in your weekly streak assured an evolution item would be dropped.

Sometimes youll get a Metal Coat, Sun Stone, Dragon Scale, or Upgrade. But this method you can do by yourself is the only one currently in Pokemon GO that will always give you some evolution item .

How To Get A Kings Rock In Pokmon Go

As the evolution method itself is simple, you only have to know how to get a Kings Rock in Pokémon Go. However, like most items, it is a matter of luck: Kings Rock can be found on PokéStops , but we have a tip that can help you.

Pokémon Go features Daily Bonuses that reward players who play this game daily. In addition, if you play Pokémon Go consecutively for 7 days, on the seventh day you will receive a special evolution item. There is no way to find out which item you will receive, but there are only 5 of these items in the game, so you are likely to be able to get a Kings Rock quickly.
