How To Catch Shiny Gible
Shiny Gible has been available before, but youd be hard pressed to find someone who has actually caught one. On Community Day though youll likely find a few just playing casually. If you focus on a few of our tips and tricks you can come away with a nice collection of Shiny Gible, and even evolve a few, especially if they have high IVs.
With this in mind, the Just a Nibble ticket will be a nice benefit, if youre alright spending the $1, and can complete it during the event. The encounters will give you more chances, and will have better IVs than most wild catches. Otherwise make sure you perform the photobombs, and then its all about encountering as many Gible as you can in the wild.
Tap every Gible you see, and if you dont have time to catch them and they arent shiny you can back out. You can also quick catch some for the Candy and boosted XP by dragging your finger and holding on the Berry menu button, grabbing and tossing the ball with you other hand, then releasing and tapping to exit. You can also keep track of which wild Gible youve already shiny checked by seeing if they are facing toward where you were standing when you might have encountered them.
And thats our Gible Community Day event guide for Pokémon GO. Watch for more info as the event launches aorund the world.

How Do I Find A Shiny Community Day Pokmon
The Shiny rate on Community Days is approximately 1 in 25, according to The Silph Roads research, so you should find Shiny Pokémon quickly.
However, since there are so many types of Pokémon spawning, it can be difficult to find a specific one. Your best bet is to go out on the day that features the Pokémon that youre looking for and tap every Pokémon you see until you find a Shiny.
Pros Of A Gible Community Day
Having Gible as the featured Community Day Pokemon has lots of benefits.
Gible, Gabite and Garchomp are three incredibly cool Pokemon for starters. Couple that with the fact that Gibles shiny form is pretty good and youre off to a superficially good start.
For me though, there are two main benefits. Obviously, Garchomp is an extremely powerful Pokemon and its been a while since Niantic has given us a Community Day that has had the opportunity to really shake up the PVP meta.
The second benefit links directly to the first. As stated, its been a while since weve had a rare/pseudo-legendary Pokemon as part of a Community Day and hopefully, just hopefully, this leaves the door open for other exciting events ahead.
A legend will soon illuminate our world: Xerneas, the Life Pokémon! The Luminous Legends X event is coming soon! During the event, some Dragon- and Fairy-type Pokémon will be making their Pokémon GO debuts!

Pokemon Go Gible Community Day: How To Maximize Gible Candy
Community Day event is always a delight when it comes to Pokemon GO, especially if it is a Pokemon that many are after it.
June Community Day will feature Gible as the main Pokemon during this event, so this means that many players will be stacking the Candies for a Garchomp evolution later on. A post on Reddit has appeared in which the user u/gerbetta33 explains how to get the maximum out of the Community Day.
First and foremost, they suggest that you might earn close to 1,200 Gible Candy by using Pinap Berries on 100 Gible. If you happen to get this number, you can rest because you will have enough Candy to have a full team of level 40 Garchomp, but you might need to get those Pinap berries.
Next Sunday, as said in the post, you might want to clear your Research and farm tasks so you can begin Community Day with a clean Task screen. To get even more, you can evolve a Mega Dragon on Tuesday and it will give you 100 more Candies.
If you catch a lot of Gible that either has low CP or something else you did not like, the Reddit user suggests that you keep those for the next Spotlight Hour which is on June 15th, where we will have a bonus of x2 Candy for transferring Pokemon. This might even give you +200 Candies.
Will you be doing this? What do you think about the number of Candies?

What Is Gible Community Day
Gible has a two-step evolution that culminates in the Pokemon becoming Garchomp, a pseudo-legendary Pokemon. The event comes with numerous tasks, and there are rewards given after every task, according to ComicBook.com.
As with the past Community Day events, the festivities on June 6 will start at 11:00 A.M. Eastern Standard time and will feature a lot of Gible spawning all around the area.
Any Gabite evolved into a Garchomp during the event learns the Ground-type move Earth Power, which makes Garchomp one of the most effective Ground-type attackers to use in raids in the game.
The Community Day this month features the exclusive move Earth Power. Earth Power is a Ground-type charge move with a relatively modest energy cost and has a base damage of 90, according to Polygon.
Where Earth Power really shines is its ability to debuff an opponent’s Defense by one level in PvP. Landing a debuff on an opponent can swing a PvP battle in your favor, making makes Earth Power an effective secondary move to give Garchomp.
The Gible Community Day will also come with a 3X Catch XP bonus, which means that players can earn a ton of XP for participating in the event. So if you’re trying to level up in the game, be sure to stack the 3X Catch XP with a Lucky Egg to maximize your XP during the event.

Surprise Gible Community Day June 6th Announcement
In a surprise move, the Pokémon GO twitter has just announced Junes Community Day, and it is one we have all been waiting for. Gible on June 6th!
Pokémon GO May 7, 2021
We cant remember any occasion that Pokémon GO have made such a huge announcement via their twitter before, with no in game news, or update to the Pokémon GO Live website.
While Gible is already available as a shiny in game, it has been a popular request for a Community Day because Garchomp is so meta relevant in both PVE and PVP, as well as being a fan favourite. In fact, we just mentioned Gible as a potential Community Day in our recent article about Community Days we would love to see .
Bar the date and the Pokémon, we dont have any more information to share about this exciting Community Day, but make sure to get it in your diaries! As soon as we have more information to share, we will update you.
What special move do you think Garchomp will gain, and are you hyped for Gible Community Day? How do you feel about existing previously rare shinies becoming common through a Community Day? Does it devalue them, or do you not care and just want to collect them all? Comment down below and let us know!

Porygon On Pokemon Go Community Day
Porygon, a normal-type Pokemon that can be evolved into Porygon 2, is one of the candidates of the next pocket monster to hunt down on Community Day.
A lot of PoGo players think that Porygon will be the next Community Day Pokemon since Porygon-Z was last released on Pokemon Diamond and Pearl games– making assumptions that this will be the perfect day for the return of this pocket monster.
How To Get Shiny Gible On Community Day
While Swablu itself was a Normal/Flying type, its evolution Altaria was part Dragon type, which carries over to this months Pokémon as well with the always highly sought after Gible. This Dragon/Ground type Pokémon was introduced in the fourth generation of games and has been around in Pokémon GO for awhile now, though either as a rare spawn or in raids typically.
As is standard with most Community Days, Gible will be spawning between 11:00 am and 5:00 pm local time on Sunday, June 6. Sometimes you will come across another Pokémon during this period, but it should typically just be Gible for the most part here. As a result, there will certainly be no shortage of Gible to be found during the event.
This is the first key to getting a shiny Gible on Community Day, as you just want to catch as many as you can. Whether you are catching them in the game itself or using a Poké Ball Plus to catch them, you should come across shinies eventually by just catching more.
If you want to up your odds, there are a few ways to do that as well. Those are going to be through some other means, including the Special Research Just A Nibble Ticket that you have to pay $0.99 to purchase. This will give you special research that will research you with Gible encounters that have increased shiny chances. Its no guarantee that you will get a shiny from these, but it does have the increased odds.

What Community Day Move Does Garchomp Learn
Garchomp learns Earth Power when you evolve a Gabite on in your local time.
If you miss the Community Day period, youll likely be able to evolve your Gible during the December Community Weekend event to get Earth Power, based on past years. You can also use an Elite TM to teach legacy Community Day-only moves.
