The Legend Of Thunder Part 1
A young Trainer named Jimmy and his Typhlosion are on a Pokémon journey, and their latest Pokémon battle results in victory over another Trainer and his Hitmonlee. Meanwhile, Team Rocket agents Attila and Hun have arrived at a Team Rocket base to view the Miracle Crystal. This invention can store electric energy and attract it as wellincluding Electric-type Pokémon. Jimmy, still on his journey, visits a Pokémon Center and he runs into an old friend, Marina, in the middle of a video conversation with their mutual friend Vincent. Marina wants to be a Trainer and a star performer, but when Jimmy tells her that’s impossible, Marina challenges him to a 2-on-2 battle!
For the first round, Marina uses her Jigglypuff and Jimmy goes with his Beedrill. Jigglypuff’s dance training does come in useful, but Beedrill wins the round. Next it’s Marina’s Croconaw against Jimmy’s Typhlosion, but a strange lightning storm interrupts the battle. Marina’s Misdreavus flies towards the storm, so she and Jimmy give chase. They catch up with Misdreavus at the source of the storm: Team Rocket’s Miracle Crystal! Attila and Hun used it to stun all the Electric Pokémon drawn by its energy, and now they’re just scooping up the stunned Pokémon.
How To Find And Purchase Thunder Stones In Pokmon Legends: Arceus
The easiest and least time-consuming method for players to find multiple Thunder Stones in Pokémon Legends: Arceus is by farming them throughout the five different wilderness regions. Within each of these areas, there are three different types of ores that stick up out of the ground that players can send out their Pokémon at to break and then retrieve the ore. Some of these ores will also be sparkling, indicating that they contain rarer materials, including evolution stones. By seeking out these sparkling ores, players have a chance to attain Thunder Stones, as well as other valuable materials.
Players may also purchase Thunder Stones along with other evolution items in Pokémon Legends: Arceus from Simona at the Trading Post in Jubilife Village using Merit Points. However, this is not the most efficient method, as Merit Points are only awarded through returning Lost Satchels, which on average payout a little above 50 MP per satchel, with Thunder Stones costing 1000 MP. Instead, it would be better to save Merit Points to purchase the rarer evolution items before Thunder Stones as these drop more frequently. Similarly, they can be purchased at the Ginko Guild’s Cart for 5,000 Pokédollars from Ginter, however, when they are available is both random and rare.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus is available now on Nintendo Switch.
This Special Provides Examples Of:
- Action Girl: Marina may be a ditz, but she’s quite competent as a trainer.
- Accidental Pervert: While seemingly innocent, if one pays attention to the perspective of the scene where Marina was speaking to Jimmy and Typhlosion, it can be deduced that Vincent had a clear view of Marina’s butt for an extended period of time
- Adaptation Dye-Job: In order to fit with the character, Marina’s design was recolored from her game counterpart’s to look more girly than tomboyish
- Adaptation Name Change: Kenta/Jimmy and Marina are clearly adaptations of the GSC Player Characters, but have names not based on one of the default name options in any language.
- Ambiguous Gender: Only in the English dub Hun is never referred to with a singular pronoun, and the issue isn’t helped by his rather androgynous appearance and his being voiced by Veronica Taylor . However, he’s confirmed to be male in the Japanese version.

Pokmon Legends Arceus: Where To Find Thunder Stone
How to find Thunder Stones around the Hisui region in Pokémon Legends: Arceus and where to purchase them in Jubilife Village using Merit Points.
Along with new ways to evolve in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, such as using the Strong Style to evolve Hisuian Qwilfish, the classic trio of elemental evolution stones make their return as well. Of these, the Thunder Stone continues to be a core staple of the game as the only way to evolve the franchise mascot Pikachu into Raichu, Eevee into Jolteon, and Magneton into Magnezone without needing a magnetic field zone. However, finding Thunder Stones can challenging, especially in comparison to other recent Pokémon games in the franchise such as Pokémon: Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon where the starter Rowlet was introduced.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus players find themselves teleported back in time to the ancient Sinnoh region . Unable to return back to their own time, players are taken in by the small settlement of Jubilife Village after being recruited into the Galaxy Teams Survey Corps. Like much of the new Hisui region, Pokémon Legends weaves in hallmarks of past generations of the Pokémon franchise games into this new setting, including evolution stones.

Where To Find A Thunder Stone In Pokmon Legends: Arceus
You have some options. And none involve getting shocked!
When dealing with evolutions involving the use of specific items, some will only be used once depending on how general their applications are. The exception to that rule is typically Evolution Stones or other items dealing with typings because they have a wide range of Pokémon they can apply to.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus uses all of the Evolution Stones at least once, with some, like the Thunder Stone, being usable on multiple species that appear in the game.
The item itself can be found in a few different ways, and you will need at least one if you want to evolve your Eevee into Jolteon. It can also be used on Magneton if you dont want to wait until the late game to evolve it into Magnezone.
The Thunder Stone, along with most of the original Evolution Stones, is a reward option for finishing Flaros Eevees Evolution Request.
You can actually purchase a Thunder Stone at Ginters Specials in Jubilife Village for 5,000 PokéDollars. Or if you would rather use the Merit Points you have saved up from returning lost satchels, you can head over to the Trading Post and grab one for 1,000 Merit Points.
Thunder Stones can spawn in space-time distortions along with the other Evolution Stones and some various rare items. And while exploring the map, you can break grey rocks in various areas for a chance to find one in the rubble.
