What Is The Next Legendary Raid In Pokemon Go

Must read

Trainers May Be Able To Catch Mega Legendary Pokemon Soon

REGICE IS THE NEXT LEGENDARY RAID BOSS IN POKEMON GO! REGICE RAID BOSS GUIDE!

Mega Legendary Raids look like they are coming to Pokemon GO. These raids will feature stronger versions of Legendaries already featured in Tier 5 Raids.

This information comes by way of an update from Poke Miners. They have been mining data for the mobile game for quite some time, and have discovered some pretty significant changes coming in the next update.

Another upcoming mechanic that Poke Miners teased is Pokemon Sleep. This is a pretty ambitious new game mode for the phone app where trainers will play while they sleep. The app will also log sleep hours, so trainers can make sure they get enough rest and game at the same time.

There are only a few options for which Mega Legendaries will be coming to the game soon. In all likelihood, though, Mega Mewtwo Y could be the first to be included in the game.

Mega Mewtwo Y was teased in a poster for the fourth-anniversary event of the game. Reshiram and Zekrom could be seen flying in the background with Mega Mewtwo Y.

The poster for the fifth anniversary saw Mega Mewtwo X in the background. With Mewtwo being one of the most popular Legendaries in franchise history and coming from Kanto, which most fans are familiar with, its pretty likely at least one of its Mega Evolutions will be the first-ever Mega Legendary Raid boss.

Below is a list of all potential Mega Legendary Raid bosses:

  • Mega Mewtwo X
  • Mega Rayquaza
  • Mega Diance

Raid Invitations And Remote Raids In Pokmon Go

As the global pandemic slowed Pokémon Go play and Raids in particular during the early part of 2020, Niantic began to implement new features to make Raids more accessible. Now Trainers can purchase Remote Raid Passes, which allow them to take part in Raids that aren’t within range for a normal Raid Pass. These Remote Raid Passes will let you join in any Raid you can see on the screen. Additionally, Remote Raid Passes allow you to join into any Raid a Friend invites you to. Raid Invitations were added shortly after Remote Raid Passes, allowing Trainers to invite up to five of their Friends to join in a Raid from anywhere in the world.

How To Get A Raid Pass In Pokmon Go

Trainers who wish to partake in the event will have to use a Raid Pass at a Gym with an active Raid. There are currently three Raid Pass types:

  • Raid Pass The daily free Raid Pass. You can get one free in-game daily by spinning a Gyms PokeStop.
  • Premium Battle Pass A Raid Pass that can be purchased with PokéCoins . One costs 100 PokéCoins and can also be found in special bundles or included as bonus items for paid ticket events and more. This pass can also be used in Pokémon GOs GO Battle League for premium rewards.
  • Remote Raid Pass A special Raid Pass that can be purchased with PokéCoins. As of May 23rd, 2022, they will not be included in the weekly box bundles for 1 PokéCoin. Prices have also increased an individual Remote Raid Pass is 100 PokéCoins whereas the 3-pack is 300 PokéCoins. Remote Raid Passes have also been distributed as Research Breakthrough rewards and more.

Note: Raid Pass and Premium Battle Pass items can only be used within 80 meters of a Gym. A Remote Raid Pass can be used if you see the Gym on your screen or be used to Raid remotely if invited by an in-game friend anywhere in the world who is hosting a Raid.

EX raids are a special type of raid only available to those who have received an invite. To participate in an EX raid, youll need an aptly-titled EX raid pass, which you can get as a random reward for completing a large number of raids.

EX raids differ from usual raids in that youll face a much more powerful Pokémon, and will need to bring a heck of a lot of friends along to the fight. As a reward, youll get the chance to add one of the rarest Pokémon to your collection.

    Pokemon Go Raid Times

Generally speaking, Pokemon Go raid times are completely random. There’s no way of knowing when an egg will appear above a specific gym, nor what Pokemon will hatch, but there are a couple of guidelines.

Pokemon Go raid eggs will only spawn between 5:30am and 7:45pm local time. This means the time raid bosses will be available is 6:30am to 9:30pm, once an egg has hatched. This is because Niantic doesn’t want players roaming the streets in the middle of the night, for obvious reasons. You can however join remote raids in different timezones, provided you have a friend that can invite you and you have a Remote Raid Pass.

Every Wednesday, from 6pm to 7pm local time, will be Raid Hour. This is when most, if not all, gyms in the vicinity will spawn level five raids with whichever legendary Pokemon is in eggs at the time. This changes frequently, so make sure you check

    Relationships With Other Trainers Matter

Granted, Legendary Raids can become a solo thing for players who want a more private Pokemon GO experience. However, maximizing the game’s built-in multiplayer features can make it much easier to grab stronger Pokemon to use on Raids.

    • Use Trading: For a collection game like Pokemon GO, trading has become a powerful investment for getting stronger Pokemon. Thanks to the trading system, players who receive Pokemon can get them with rerolled IVs. Moreover, certain Pokemon become Lucky when traded, which means they cost less when powering up. Sometimes, Trading often with Best Friends can transform them into Lucky Friends, too!
    • Use the power of Friendship: Newcomers to Raids might find it surprising that their local areas might have local Raiders or casual players ready to team up. Finding these players and befriending them can help players tackle challenging Legendary Raids much easier.

Pokemon Go 2022 Roadmap Kicks Off With New Raids Shinies And New Year Festivities

The Pokemon Go 2022 roadmap is beginning to unfurl, with developer Niantic teasing several events and bonuses to come at the start of the year.

A variety of shiny Pokemon will be available throughout January 2022 via research, raid, and spotlight challenges. In fact, all but two of the month’s 10 featured Pokemon will occasionally spawn as shinies, so keep your eyes peeled.

As ever, raids will be one of the best ways to chase down specific Pokemon. Here’s the raid schedule for January 2022:

    • Until January 7: Five-star Kyurem
    • Until January 7: Mega Abomasnow

You’ll also find specific Pokemon in the spotlight every Tuesday from 6pm to 7pm local time, each with their own catch bonuses. Look for Solosis on January 4, Diglett on January 11, Plusle on January 18, and Minun on January 25.

The next Pokemon Go Community Day is another roadmap highlight. The adorable Spheal will be featured come January 16, 2022, and if you raise it to a Walrein within two hours of the event ending, it will learn the Charged Attack Icicle Spear and the Fast Attack Powder Snow.

Smaller events tied to the ongoing Season of Heritage, like Mountains of Power and a mystery event “inspired by the Kanto Power Plant,” will fill out the month. The Pokemon Go New Year’s celebration will also start at 4pm local time Friday, December 31 and run through 8pm local time on January 4, so as usual there isn’t much downtime in Pokemon Go’s future.

Five Star Raids In Pokmon Go

The Five Star tier is typically reserved for Legendary Pokémon and usually the most sought after of public Raids. They’re more difficult to beat than lower star ratings, but if you have enough players to do it, the rewards at this level are the best. Right now, Kyurem has taken over Legendary Raids and for the first time in Pokémon Go, it can be Shiny! After Kyurem’s run, Heatran will be available from January 7 to 15. Then from January 15 to 24, Genesect will be available with its Shock Drive, followed by Regice through the end of the month.

    Mega Raids In Pokmon Go

On August 27, 2020, Niantic introduced Mega Evolution and with it Mega Raids. Mega Raids are a class unto themselves, providing some of the most challenging battles yet. Mega Pokémon get a massive stat boost, and in some cases new typing as well. Starting June 1, 2021, only one Pokémon will be appearing in Mega Raids at a time.

If you need help with January’s Mega Raids, we have the following guides:

After completing any of these Mega Raids, you will be rewarded with the chance to catch the normal version of that Pokémon, as well as a bunch of Mega Energy – the species specific currency used to Mega Evolve your own Pokémon. The amount of Mega Energy you win is based on how quickly you can complete the Mega Raid so you want to invite as many people as possible to these Raids. Additionally, Mega Raids can give you Shiny Pokémon, unlike encountering these evolved Pokémon normally.

Like other Raids, Mega Raids also rotate out. Currently, you cannot battle in the following Mega Raids right now:

    Zygarde Is Coming Soon

Pokemon Go Legendary Raid FAIL MONTAGE!

On December 3, 2020, Niantic released a trailer announcing that more PokéBalls will be available from PokéStops for the holiday period. However, the final frame of this video shows new Pokémon from the Kalos region.

As you can see, Zygarde is clearly coming to the game soon, as every other Pokémon in the shot is available now. As the video has a holiday theme, we expect them to appear soon.

The likelihood is that they will be available in raids, like most other Legendary Pokémon, but well update this page with all the information when we know for sure.

Now, well answer a bunch of questions you may have regarding Pokémon Go raids.

There are quite a few Legendary and Mega Raids coming to Pokémon GO in June 2022. Here is the full list of raid bosses and how to beat them.

Pokémon GO is well known for its constant stream of updates and events, including Legendary and Mega Raids. Various Pokémon are featured in each Pokémon GO event, with some appearing more frequently in the wild, in egg hatches, and in Legendary and Mega Raids. For the month of June 2022, trainers will have a new set of Pokémon to fight in Raid Battles. While most of these Pokémon are not making debut appearances, they will have shiny forms available for players lucky enough to encounter them. If players encounter a shiny Pokémon in a Raid Battle, it is a guaranteed catch, so be sure to use a Pinap Berry to get the most amount of Candies possible.

For those who are new to Pokémon GO, one of the main goals of the game is to catch and battle Pokémon. One method of catching Pokémon is to visit a Pokémon Gym with an ongoing Raid and fight in a Raid Battle. There are several difficulty levels of these Raid Battles, with Mega and Legendary Raids containing tougher and rarer Pokémon.

As always, it’s possible that additional Battle Raids may show up as surprise events come and go throughout the coming month. Keep an eye on the nearby radar for anything particularly exciting or surprising as May kicks off next week. With multiple high profile events on the horizon, it’s very likely that some additional surprises bosses will swoop in. At this point there are no details about that May 15 surprise Mega Battle Raid Boss, but more details and hints should arrive in the coming weeks.

Over the next week or so players should continue to learn a lot more about what other events are on the way throughout the Season of Legends. Be sure to check back in the near future for more Pokemon GO strategy guides, news, and updates. Until then, good luck out there, trainers!

What Legendaries Will Be Available During Go Fest And When

Excluding Mythical pokemon, every Legendary to previously appear in Pokemon GO raids will be featured in raids on Sunday, July 18th, day two of GO Fest 2021, from 10 am to 6 pm. Raids will be broken up into two sets of four different elemental-themed hours, similar to the habitat hours from day one of GO Fest. As with all pokemon titles, Pokemon GO’s battle mechanics are based around type advantages. Many times specific moves and pokemon provide unique advantages due to their various speed and counter statistics. Keeping that in mind, let’s go over every Legendary Raid Boss you’ll encounter on Sunday according to their elemental type, and look at some of the best moves and pokemon for taking on each one.
