Alternate Eevee Evolution Methods For Leafeon Glaceon Umbreon And Espeon
Gen 4’s Leafeon and Glaceon have a second Eevee evolution method, by using the Mossy Lure or Glacial Lure respectively. When you’re in range of that PokéStop with the Lure enabled, go to your Eevee and choose the Evolution.

Note you specifically need to walk 10k and earn two Candies in the process, then keep Eevee as your Buddy when evolving, and be either day or night during the game itself for it to work .

How To Evolve Eevee Into Espeon
There is a secret that lets you determine your Eevee‘s fate. You can choose which evolution form to evolve your Eevee into by naming it Sakura , Tamao , Pyro , Rainer or Sparky . This is an Easter egg reference to trainers and the Eevee Brothers from the original anime series. Note that you have to make sure you use a capital first letter and lower case names .Also take note that, although in Pokemon Gold and Silver Espeon could only be obtained during the day, and Umbreon at night, this is not the case in Pokemon Go. Each evolution can be obtained regardless of the time of day.
Note:
This will only work once for each of the five names. After that, no matter what you name your Eevee, the evolution will be random.
You can still get Espeon and Umbreon reliably after using the name trick by walking with the Eevee as your buddy and feeding it at least two candies before evolving. Evolving at night will get an Umbreon and at day will result in Espeon. The Eevee needs to still be your buddy at the time of evolving or this trick won’t work.
The Best Way To Get Candy In Pokmon Go
As updates go on for the game, more and more methods of getting Candy exist, so its worth keeping them all in mind as you play. It is, after all, one of the more difficult resources to collect.
Catching Pokémon
The best way is, unfortunately, through grinding out those catches.
Youll get three Candy per Pokémon that you catch, and as part of the Gen 2 update, second and third tier evolutions will now give out more Candy in the wild compared to their first evolution counterparts, increasing from 3 Candy to 5 and 10 respectively.
There are ways to speed up the process for the creature you need, from finding Pokémon nests to finding Pokémon spawn locations.

Eevee To Umbreon Or Espeon
To evolve into Umbreon or Espeon, keep an Eevee as a buddy and walk this Eevee for 10km. Once youve reached 10km, your Eevee should show one of two silhouettes in its Evolve button. If it is daylight hours, you should see an Espeon. If it is nighttime hours, you should see an Umbreon. If you evolve your Eevee during the day, youll get an Espeon, if you evolve at night, youll get an Umbreon.
This process will work as many times as you like. You could potentially evolve hundreds of Eevee into Umbreon if youre willing to walk every one of them 10km and evolve in the daytime.
Eevee To Leafeon And Glaceon
The process for attaining a Leafeon or Glaceon is slightly more one-time-only than the process for Umbreon and Espeon. To get a Leafeon or Glaceon, youll need a Mossy Lure or a Glacial Lure.
Attach a Mossy Lure to a Pokestop and check the Eevee you wish to evolve. If you are within range of the Pokestop with the lure, you should see the silhouette on your Eevees evolve button appear as Leafeon.
Attach a Glacial Lure to a Pokestop if you want to evolve an Eevee into Glaceon. You will only be able to evolve ONE Eevee into a Glaceon, and ONE Eevee into a Leafeon with this Lure process.

The final current Eeveelutions available in Pokemon Go are Glaceon and Leafeon, and this duo has the most specific evolution method yet.
First of all, don’t forget that you can do the name trick once again to get Glaceon and Leafeon for the first time. As detailed above, name your Eevee Rea to have it evolve to Glaceon, and name your Eevee Linnea to have it evolve to Leafeon. After that, however, you’ll need to fulfil special requirements to evolve more of these Pokemon.
Specifically, in order to evolve more Eevee into Glaceon or Leafeon, you’ll need some new items: the Glacial Lure and the Mossy Lure. These two new types of Lure Module are available in the shop and will soon be appearing as Field Research Rewards. A second method of evolving Eevee into Umbreon and Espeon exists, and its surprisingly easy. Simply make Eevee your buddy Pokémon and walk 10km. You can then evolve your Eevee at night to unlock Umbreon, or during the day for Espeon. You can easily tell if its day or night by looking at the colour of your map or listening to the games music, but ensure that you have good signal before evolving the game needs to know the time of day in your exact location and if your signal drops at the wrong moment, youll get a Vaporeon, Jolteon or Flareon no matter how far youve walked.

Keep All Your Shinies
There are lots of Eevee evolutions to collect, and if youre a crazy collector youll also want to have both male and female versions.
