Whats New In Pokmon Go
November is a packed month for Pokémon GO fans, with developers Niantic unveiling a number of in-game events;that will be taking place between now and the end of the month.
Supereffective Week;runs from Tuesday 19 November 19 at 9pm PST to Tuesday 26 November at 1pm.

Getting Nosepass In Pokemon Go
First off, before you can actually get the Pokemon to evolve, youll need to capture it. As a Rock-type creature, Nosepass is actually pretty easy to find.
In both urban and rural areas, your chances of getting a Nosepass to appear seem to be pretty regular, and it shouldnt take too long for you to encounter one like any other regular, Normal-type Pokemon.
Once you see Nosepass appear on your screen, simply tap on it and swipe on your screen to throw a Poke Ball to try to catch it. Youll want to catch as many of this creature as possible, as youll need enough Candy for it to evolve later on.
Why Cant I Evolve My Nosepass
If players look at the stats screen for Nosepass or Magneton, they wont see an option to evolve. The only option initially is to power Nosepass up as long as there are available candies, but the evolution is hidden. With the correct item on hand, the evolution can be found in the stats menu for the given Pokemon.

How Do You Get Evolution Items In Pokmon Go
Most Evolution Items are rewarded as rare drops from PokéStop spins. Magneton is a very unique Pokemon in Pokemon Go, since it can only be evolved under very particular circumstances. Heres what you need to know about evolving Magneton into Magnezone!
Magneton can only be evolved into Magnezone when youre within range of a PokeStop that has an active Magnetic Lure Module. Magnetic Lure Modules were added to Pokemon Goin 2019 along with Glacial and Mossy Lure Modules. When a PokeStop is boosted by a Magnetic Lure Module, Electric-, Steel-, and Rock-type Pokemon will be attracted to the PokeStop for a limited time.
While some of these special Lure Modules have been given away to players for free, you can purchase a Magnetic Lure Module at any time in the in-game Item Shop for 200 PokeCoins .
When youre ready to evolve Magneton into Magnezone, head to a nearby PokeStop and activate the Magnetic Lure Module. While youre still within range of the PokeStop, open up your Pokemon storage and tap the Magneton you want to evolve. Youll see the evolve button has appeared! You can then evolve Magneton into Magnezone using 100 Magnemite Candy.
Heres something important to keep in mind: Anyone near a PokeStop with an active Magnetic Lure Module can take advantage of its effects. Its possible you may come across a PokeStop that someone else has already boosted with a Magnetic Lure Module, and if thats the case, you can easily evolve Magneton into Magnezone without using any of your own Lure Modules.

How To Evolve Magneton Into Magnezone In Pokmon Go

Typically when youre ready to evolve a Pokémon in Pokémon Go, all you have to do is give it enough candy of its base form and then evolve it. Magneton is a little bit different. When you want to evolve it into a Magnezone, you have to take a few more steps than that and make sure you have a Magnetic Lure module. These modules are items you can directly purchase in the Pokémon Go shop for 200 Poké Coins. You can earn them from increasing your trainer level at certain points, or you can earn them from completing special research tasks. When youre ready to use the Magnetic Lure, youre half way there to evolving your Magneton.
To use your Magnetic Lure, you need to be in range of a Poké Stop. All you have to do is click the Poké Stop and hit the top icon that looks like a lure module. If thats empty, the Poké Stop can accept a lure module. If a lure module is already being used, itll tell you, and youll have to wait for it to wear off before using it. All lure modules last for 30 minutes. You can pick the Magnetic Lure module from your inventory when youre ready.
Youll also need 100 Magnemite candies. You can obtain these by walking with Magnemite or Magneton as your buddy or capturing Magnemites in the wild. Once you have 100 candies, and youre in range of a Poké Stop with a Magnetic Lure activated, youll be able to evolve it receive your Magnezone.
Do Lures Attract Rare Pokemon
We found that special Lures do not increase spawn rates of all appropriately-typed Pokémon. Instead, Lures attract specific Pokémon species. Interestingly, we have confirmed exactly 13 species that are attracted by each of the Lure Modules. Notably omitted from the Magnetic Lure Module list is Cranidos.

Thunder Shock + Discharge And Magnet Bomb
This is the most popular moveset for Magneton, and it’s finally not legacy anymore. Thunder Shock is the best fast move due to its superior energy generation.

This is one of the easiest methods to start trying. Kings Rocks are still fairly rare in Pokemon GO, so youll need to spin many PokeStops and Gyms. Still, its a free method that will give you instant results. However, the items that drop are random and theres no assurance that youll even get any kind of evolution item. Fortunately, theres another method that has to do with spinning PokeStops and Gyms which is a bit more reliable.
Each time you do your first spin or catch your first Pokemon, youll see a counter appear on the screen indicating that you have a streak of a certain number of days up to seven. This is where the Kings Rock comes in.
After an update that was released back in 2017, the seventh consecutive PokeStop or Gym spin in your weekly streak assured an evolution item would be dropped.
Sometimes youll get a Metal Coat, Sun Stone, Dragon Scale, or Upgrade. But this method you can do by yourself is the only one currently in Pokemon GO that will always give you some evolution item .

Using A Lure To Evolve Nosepass In Pokemon Go
The item that players need to evolve Nosepass is a lure. However, it just cant be any lure that players would typically get. It has to be a Magnetic Lure, which is a sub type of lure in Pokemon GO.
Magnetic Lures in Pokemon GO will attract Electric, Steel, and Rock-type Pokemon to the area. Players need to be in range of a Pokestop, where they can then choose the option to pop a lure at the stop. The option to choose a Magnetic Lure will be given as long as the player has one in their inventory. To take advantage of the lure, players need to be in range because they dont act entirely like normal incense.
Once players are in the range of the Magnetic Lure at Pokestop, the options will change for Nosepass on the stats screen. The typical shadow of an evolution can be found, which is the next form of Nosepass called Probopass. Players will need 50 total Nosepass candies to complete the evolution, or else the Magnetic Lure wont be enough.
Players can buy Magnetic Lures in the Pokemon GO shop for coins, which can be purchased or earned through holding gyms in the game. However, they can also be earned through some of the special research tasks that all players get in Pokemon GO. Earning the lure for Nosepass will take longer, but most of the challenges arent very difficult.

How To Evolve To Magnezone
To get Magnezone using the Magnetic Lure, simply make sure that your little character is in the area of the lure and that you have 100 Magnemite candies.
Then, find the Magneton you would like to evolve and you should be able to hit evolve. Just make sure that youre standing within range of the lure.
When out of the range of the lure, you wont see any evolve option on the page of the Magneton in your Pokemon collection. This does essentially mean that, unless youre defending a gym for a while to earn coins, a Pokemon is locked behind a microtransaction purchase.

Magnetic Lure Modules are used in Pokemon GO to attract more Pokemon to a Pokestop for 30 minutes. And like mentioned previously, this item can also be used to evolve specific Pokemon, such as Magneton and even Nosepass, which can evolve into Probopass — a Rock/Steel-type Pokemon.
Players can head on over to the Pokemon GO shop and purchase the Magnetic Lure Module for 200 Pokecoins. The only way to get these coins without spending real-world money is by taking down local gyms with your Pokemon and keeping them there for as long as possible before getting taken over by another player. Of course, players also have the option to plop down some cold hard cash and skip out on the gym battles if they were to feel so inclined to do so.
As long as the module is placed on a Pokestop, other players can evolve their Magneton as well or use it to capture lots of Pokemon for half an hour. As of right now, Magneton and Nosepass are the only two Pokemon that can evolve by using this method. Over time, there could potentially be other Pokemon that also use this method in order to evolve.
