How Do I Find A Shiny Community Day Pokmon

The Shiny rate on Community Days is approximately 1 in 25, according to The Silph Roads research, so you should find Shiny Pokémon quickly.

However, since there are so many types of Pokémon spawning, it can be difficult to find a specific one. Your best bet is to go out on the day that features the Pokémon that youre looking for and tap every Pokémon you see until you find a Shiny.

Increased Odds Of Encountering A Shiny Version Of The Featured Pokmon

Image: Niantic / The Pokémon Company

Driving fans mad with anticipation and frustration in equal measure, the featured Pokémon is a lot more likely to be shiny when it spawns during Community Day. In the wider context of the Pokémon series, GO actually presents one of the most time-efficient and least tedious ways of catching Shiny Pokémon. Lucky players can net several shiny versions during the event but theres always the chance that youll come away empty handed.

One key piece of advice for newcomers Shiny Pokémon do not appear Shiny on the Pokémon GO map. You have to tap on them and enter catching mode to see if they are shiny or not.

Do Shiny Pokmon Show Up On Nearby Or Sightings In Pokmon Go

No. While all Pokémon show up on Nearby or Sightings, they look normal just like they look on the map.

It’s only revealed as a Shiny when you tap on it and go to the catch screen. So, if you see a normal Magikarp or Pikachu on Nearby or Sightings, don’t discount it once you tap on it, it could be a Shiny. And that list of possible Shiny Pokémon gets longer all the time, so make sure to Shiny check them all!

How To Catch Shadow Exeggcute In Pokmon Go

Exeggcute is one of those Pokémon that I never felt especially inclined to catch. I mean, look at that thing four of its heads look like they want to stab you in your sleep, and one of them has had its yolk cracked open. Exeggcute gives me the willies, even more so when its a Shadow Exeggute. If youre of a braver constitution than me, then heres how to catch Shadow Exeggcute in Pokémon GO.

The Spring into Spring event is currently underway in Pokémon GO, requiring players to catch 10 more-or-less Spring-themed Pokémon to complete the challenge and earn some cool rewards. The required Pokémon are as follows:

  • Azumarill
  • Flower Crown Chansey
  • Most of these Pokémon can be acquired in the wild, during raids, or from completing Field Research Tasks, with the lone exception of Shadow Exeggcute.

What Are The Rewards For Completing This Task

The main reward for completing the Catch 15 Exeggcute task is an encounter with Azumarill.

This Pokemon is highly sought after for more than one reason.

Firstly, its an absolute monster in the Pokemon GO Great League, and completing this task offers players the chance to encounter an Azumarill with high IVs.

Secondly, its part of the collection challenge and other than completing this task, players would have to spend a raid pass to encounter and capture this specific Pokemon.

    Pokmon Go Safari Zone

On 12 July 2017, Niantic announced “Safari Zone” events across several cities in Europe at shopping centers operated by Unibail-Rodamco, held in August and September 2017. The events, where otherwise region-limited Pokémon could be found among others, required registration and had a player limit for example, the event in Amsterdam was limited to 2,000 players, though unregistered players would still be able to play with increased rewards within the city. However, due to the failure of the 2017 Go Fest event, Niantic delayed some of the Safari Zone events to fall that year.

Later in 2017, another Safari Zone event was held in Tottori Prefecture, Japan, at the Tottori Sand Dunes between 24 and 26 November. According to the local government, 89,000 people attended the event which generated around US$16 million in travel and tourism revenue. In the leadup to the event, Niantic brought several influencers in a tour around Japan as a campaign which was named Pokémon Go Travel.

The Summer 2018 iteration of the Safari Zone announced in conjunction with the 2018 Go Fest as part of a “Summer Tour” involved a Safari Zone event in Dortmund‘s Westfalenpark on 30 June and 1 July, and another event in Yokosuka, Japan on 29 August 2 September. The Dortmund event attracted some 170,000 players across the city, thrice the expected amount, with some players reporting network issues during the 2-day event.

Can More Than One Type Of Pokmon Spawn From The Same Point

While particular nests only spawn one Pokémon type, things that can normally spawn will also show up. So, you may stumble across a Pikachu nest, and youll see several Pikachu there, but this has no bearing on the things that might normally spawn there.

Thats different from something like a water spawn, where Staryu, Slowpoke, Polywag, Psyduck, and Magikarp often all spawn all together.

Pokmon Go: Final Community Day Guide

Pokémon Go is hosting its final Community Day in December 2021. Preparing for this event will help players capture rarer and Shiny Pokémon.

The December Community Day is fast approaching in Pokémon Go and this one marks the final Community Day of the year. Every month, Pokémon Go players are given the chance to participate in Community Day where a single Pokémon will have their spawn rate drastically increased for a limited time. Not only that, but this Pokémon also has the chance to appear in its Shiny form. Typically, these are incredibly rare to come across naturally. Community Day has been a hub for players who enjoy Shiny Hunting Pokémon. With that being said, the December Community Day is a bit different than the rest of the year since it allows trainers the chance to make up for the lost time.

December’s Community Day will take place over the course of two days. From Saturday, December 18th at 11 am local time to Sunday, December 19th at 5 pm local time, trainers will be able to encounter every Pokémon from the previous 2021 Community Days. Not only that, but Pokémon from Community Day events that took place in 2020 will begin to hatch from eggs. The spawns are split up amongst these two days. It is possible to collect every Shiny Pokémon within the time.

Stage : Probably Not Too Hard

    • Evolve 1 Drowzee: Drowzees can currently hatch from 5 km eggs. They also tend to spawn in cities and more often at night.
    • Catch 1 Cubone: This could be hard as hatching him wont count. However, it does count if you catch a Marowak as well, which may be found in raids as an Alolan Marowak. He will also spawn more often in sunny or clear weather.
    • Evolve 1 Scyther: This could be tricky. You will need a Metal Coat and 50 candy. However, you should have received a Metal Coat from stage 6, so that shouldnt be a problem. If you accidentally used it already, remember that you get a guaranteed special item on your seventh Pokéstop streak reward. You can also get special items from friend gifts. If you dont have enough Scyther candy, stick to grass biomes to try to find some. There is a temporary field research task, Evolve 2 Anorith, that will reward a Scyther. You can get multiples of this task so long as they come from different Pokéstops! You could get up to three Scythers off of two Anorith evolutions.Total Rewards: 10,500 XP/10 Ultra Balls/1 Charge TM/3 Premium Raid Passes

    Pokmon Go Live Events

Since its release in 2016, multiple real-life events and gatherings based on the mobile gamePokémon Go have been held by its developer Niantic Labs outside of unofficial player gatherings. Typically, the events involve increased in-game rewards for participating players and are often held in cooperation with local organizations or governments.

The common repeating events are the Pokémon Go Fest held annually, the Pokémon Go Safari Zone which has been held in multiple countries, and the monthly “Community Day” events. Player counts for the larger events range from thousands up to two million players in one event. Due to large concentrations of players all using their mobile phones in such events, the large gatherings have resulted in incidents and network disruptions, which have resulted in a lawsuit against Niantic.

Pokémon Go live events earned $249 million in tourism revenue during 2019.
