How Do I Do Pokmon Go Ex Raids

EX raids are a special type of raid only available to those who have received an invite. To participate in an EX raid, youll need an aptly-titled EX raid pass, which you can get as a random reward for completing a large number of raids.

EX raids differ from usual raids in that youll face a much more powerful Pokémon, and will need to bring a heck of a lot of friends along to the fight. As a reward, youll get the chance to add one of the rarest Pokémon to your collection.

Pokemon Go upcoming suprised raid bosses in pokemon go ...

Mega Raids launched with four possible bosses: Mega Venusaur, Mega Charizard X, Mega Charizard Y, and Mega Blastoise. Since then, Niantic has introduced Mega Pidgeot to the mix as well, while Mega Houndoom will make its debut in Mega Raids starting September 29.

Each Mega Raid boss is about on par with Legendary Pokemon in terms of their strength and CP, so you’ll need to team up with other players and bring the appropriate counters before challenging them. We’ve rounded up specific tips and recommendations to help you battle each boss below.

    Mega Venusaur

Like its base form, Mega Venusaur is a Grass/Poison type, which makes it weak to Fire, Psychic, Ice, and Flying Pokemon. Some good monsters to bring along when facing it include Ho-Oh, Charizard, Heatran, Mewtwo, Metagross, Kyurem, and Rayquaza.

    Mega Charizard

Mega Charizard Y also shares the same typing as its base form: Fire/Flying. Rock types like Rhyperior and Tyranitar have the biggest advantage over it, but Water and Electric Pokemon will deal super-effective damage as well. Good counters include Kyogre, Suicune, Swampert, Raikou, and Electivire.

    Mega Blastoise

Mega Blastoise is a pure Water type, making it weak to Grass and Electric Pokemon. Venusaur, Tangrowth, Exeggutor, Raikou, and Electivire will all be especially helpful when challenging it.

    Mega Pidgeot

    Mega Houndoom

Pokemon Go: Legendary Egg Raid Bosses

Just what legendary Pokemon will appear in the upcoming “Legendary” Raid Egg?

Recently, Pokemon Go received a brand new exciting update that greatly affected the overall gameplay for Gyms. This update made revamps to Gym battles which you can read fully about in our guide right here. However, outside of normal Gym battles, the update added a brand new game mode feature known as Raid Battles.

Essentially, these are specialized battles that will show up periodically at your local Gyms. What makes these bits more unique than a normal Gym fight is that players can work together in order to take down a Raid Boss.

In fact, there is a total of twenty players allowed to fight within a Raid Battle both publicly or privately with friends and clans. However, before you can join a Raid Battle, you must have a Raid Pass or a Legendary Raid Pass to take part in the Legendary Raid Battles.

Each Raid Battle will have a Raid Egg attached and depending on the egg color resting on top of the Gym, players may be facing against a Legendary Pokemon. Normal Raid Eggs will appear pink, Rare Raid Eggs will show up yellow, and finally, Legendary Raid Eggs will appear in a dark spiral designed color.

Its shaping up to be a great month for Pokemon Go enthusiasts. A Swinub Incense Day, monthly Timed Research challenges, and a Holidays event are all part of the new Season of Heritage.

Mega Raids appear to be limiting themselves to only a single Mega-evolving Pokemon, making it more difficult to obtain the Mega Energy you need.

For those looking forward to the December 2021 Raids, youll have the chance to get your hands on Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem, the Tao trio from the Unova region, which will be available to Trainers in Raids, while Mega Steelix will make its long-awaited Pokemon Go debut in Mega Raids.

For every Mega Raid you participate in, there will only be one Mega-evolved Pokémon appearing at a time. This means youll have to invest a bit more time into getting the Mega Energy required.

Raid Passes And How To Get Them

    Mewtwo Raids coming

Unfortunately you cant just partake in Raid Battles anytime you want. Youre going to need Raid Passes and theyre a rather limited resource unless youre willing to spend. By spinning the Photo Disc at the Gym, you will acquire one free Raid Pass per day. This means that if youre being frugal, you can only participate in Raids once a day.

If youre out of Raid Passes and want more, then you can purchase the Premium Raid Pass at the games Shop.

Alternatively if youre one who doesnt want to leave the comfort of their own home then you can use Remote Raid Passes. These passes are special as they allow you to join any Raids nearby or Raids you can tap on the Map.

The only way to acquire Remote Raid Passes is either by purchasing them from the Shop or being lucky enough to have someone gift them to you.
