For your first time, you can use the nickname trick mentioned above. After that, you need to evolve them using the old-fashioned method, by completing certain goals. For Espeon and Umbreon, you can also evolve them using the in-game method based on the time of the day. To do this, first, reach a certain relationship level with your Eevee. Set them as your Buddy Pokémon and walk as much as you can along with them.

Once you hit 10km with an Eevee as your Buddy, its ready to evolve into one of the above two types. Evolve during the day to get Espeon and during the night to get Umbreon. This method can be reused as many times as you want.

Generation Ii Eevee Evolutions: Espeon And Umbreon

Unlike the Generation I Eevee evolutions, you have more control over which of the later evolutions you get. To obtain another Espeon or Umbreon, you need to make Eevee your Buddy and walk 10 km with it. • Espeon or Umbreon: to get one of the members of this pair is quite simple and takes practice. The first thing: we choose Eevee as a partner and walk 10 km with him. Once you have the right module, go to a PokéStop without a currently active Lure and attach it there. Once the module is active, the outline on the Eevee evolution button should show the corresponding Pokémon. If it doesnt, youll need to get closer to the PokéStop. If the correct monster is visible, you can tap the button and perform the evolution.

What About Vaporeon Jolteon And Flareon

Unfortunately, the original three Eeveelutions are still random. Once youve used the nickname trick, youre pretty much stuck to the random number generator. Fortunately, Eevee is very common and has been around since day one, so most players have entire teams of Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon, but if youre having trouble getting the one you want, you can always trade another player.

As with other Eevee evolutions, you can also get Sylveon by giving Eevee a specific nickname. In this case, change your Eevee’s name to Kira and you’ll be able to evolve it into Sylveon without having to earn any Buddy hearts. However, this method only works once, so you’ll only be able to evolve Eevee into Sylveon this way one time. If you’d like to add more Sylveon to your collection, you’ll need to evolve them through the aforementioned Buddy heart method.

As part of the event, other Eevee evolutions such as Flareon, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Espeon, and Umbreon will appear in three-star Raids, and you’ll have a chance to catch Eevee and some of its evolutions by completing event-exclusive Field Research tasks. Eevees Leaf and Ice-type evolutions both have their standard methods of evolutions during the event.

Players will need to use a Mossy Lure Module on a Pokestop and evolve Eevee within the radius to get a Leafeon or repeat the trick with a Glacial Lure Module to get a Glaceon.

While these items do cost, Niantic has confirmed that there will be some Research during Community Day that rewards a Mossy Lure Module and a Glacial Lure Module.

To capture Eevee we have two options: either find it in the wild or through the hatching of a 5km Egg .

The first thing we have to say about Pokémon #133 of the National Pokédex is that it is an original species from Kanto, Generation I. It was there that its first three evolutions of Electric, Water and Fire types were introduced. For Generation II, their Psychic- and Dark-type variants were introduced. From there, a jump to Generation IV with the Plant and Ice type options to, finally, welcome the last member of the family, Fairy type , in Generation VI. Its capture rate is 40% under normal conditions. All eight evolutions are now available on Pokémon GO.

In Pokémon GO, Eevee maintains Normal type, so it is weak to Fighting type and resistant to Ghost type. To evolve, 25 candies are always necessary regardless of the conditions. We believe it is necessary to emphasize this because candies are mandatory to start the evolution process. Its base stats are 104 in ATT, 114 in DEF and 146 in stamina, rather modest characteristics that are not worth keeping. Therefore, evolving this species is highly recommended if we want to use it in the GO Battle League or in a Raid.

Strongest Eevee Evolutions In Pokemon Go

If you go off maximum Combat Power potential, then the strongest evolution is Espeon. This Psychic-type evolution can grow to a maximum CP of 3583. To evolve into an Espeon, you have to nickname it Sakura before pressing Evolve. The second strongest is Glaceon, an Ice-type that first emerged in the Sinnoh region. Its also quite new to Pokemon Go, having only entered the game in mid-2020. It has a max CP of 3535, and has the evolution nickname of Rea.

In third place is Vaporeon, the Water-type, which has a maximum CP of 3521. As with Espeon, you need to name your Eevee Rainer before evolving to get Vaporeon. The middle-ranking Eevee is Flareon, a Fire-type that was one of the first Eeveelutions. With a CP max of 3424, its a fearsome threat for Grass-type enemies. To evolve Eevee into Flareon, nickname it Pyro.

The fifth-strongest is Sylveon, a Fairy-type evolution that was introduced in the Galar era of Pokemon games. Its max CP of 3470 is still respectable, despite ranking lower on the list. Its evolution nickname is Kira. Next is Leafeon, the Grass-type that has a max CP of 3328. It has a lot of type-based weaknesses, which is a problem but if you want it, name your Eevee Linnea.
