The common weakness for all of Koga’s Pokemon is Psychic. Consider using Pokemon with Psychic moves to maximize effectivity.

Why go d-f-h-i when you can go d-e-i instead?

Oh, you’re right. I’m going to correct that, and link it in this comment when it’s done.

Just always go to the bottom left

If you do that, you will never move past portal B.

Oh god! You are the best, thank you. I’ve been avoiding this gym because it is too time consuming to get to the leader.

I’m glad you can use it. Please check out the updated version in a comment below. Turns out I missed a shorter route 🙂

If you just keep going left or right from where you spawn you will get to Sabrina as well, its how Ive done it in every iteration since the original red and blue. Probably not as fast as this though lol

Vs Sabrina Tips & Tricks

Using Dark Type Pokemon

Dark Type Pokemon can be used to great effect versus Sabrina. These Pokemon will deal significant damage which is a good thing, considering Sabrina’s Pokemon hit like trucks.

Using Bug Type Pokemon

We also recommend using a strong Bug Type Pokemon. This Type will also deal significant damage to Sabrina’s team lineup.

Watch Out For Alakazam

Sabrina’s last Pokemon, Alakazam, is pretty dang strong. Be careful to watch out for Reflect which will prevent him from taking damage by up to 5 turns. The best way to counter this move is by using debilitating status effects such as Confuse or Sleep.

Make Sure Your Pokemon Are Leveled

It usually goes without saying, but the higher level your Pokemon are the easier the fight will be. This is especially true versus Sabrina as some of her Pokemon can deal a very large amount of damage.

Saffron City Gym Walkthrough – Pokemon: Let’s Go

Sabrina is the Gym Leader of the Saffron Gym. Known as “The Master of Psychic Pokémon” , she has had psychic powers ever since she was a child, when she accidentally bent a spoon. She apparently dislikes battling, but is hard to beat because she can communicate with her Pokémon telepathically. Her fame has grown so much that even Trainers living in the Sevii Islands have heard of her. Previously, there were two Gyms in Saffron City, a Fighting-type Gym and a Psychic-type Gym. Sabrina used her advantage to defeat the rival Gym and strip them of their Gym status, turning them to the Fighting Dojo.

She appears to have the ability to see the future. In Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal she states that three years ago she foresaw the arrival of another strong challenger ” rel=”nofollow”> Ethan, Kris, and Lyra). After this second defeat, she accepts that her ability of foresight may be limited. In Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!, she will conclude each post-game rematch with the player by making the aforementioned prediction of facing another equally strong Trainer in three years.

In Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, Sabrina appears in the Pokémon World Tournament as a participant along with other Gym Leaders. She also appears at Pokéstar Studios as a Movie Star, playing the role of Magic Queen Bellelba , a villain in the Mystery Doors of the Magical Land Series.

Like Celadon City, we’ve split this into two pages: this current one, which deals with the city itself, the Dojo, Sabrina’s Gym and anything else you can do before and after clearing out Team Rocket and a separate page on Silph Co. and Team Rocket, which is more than big enough to warrant its own!

Alolan Raichu is half Psychic-type, by the way, which can come in very handy against Team Rocket in Silph Co. if you don’t already have a strong Psychic-type attacker.

There’s also a girl in the top-left corner of town who goes by the name ‘Copycat’, who’ll give you TM08 Substitute if you show her her favourite Pokémon .

Pokmon Let’s Go: Saffron City Revisited Sabrina’s Gym

Pokemon Lets Go – Saffron City GYM Puzzle – Sabrina’s GYM

After defeating Team Rocket in the Silph Co. building, there are a few things to do around town – a man outside Silph offers you a Porygon as a gift, whilst the Police Officer in to the top right of town will give you a new outfit. Then, it’s time to take on the Gym – only there’s a catch. You’ll need to have a Pokémon of at least level 45 in your party to enter which, in our case, required a fair bit of grinding first.

You can actually proceed all the way to Fuchsia City at this point, via either of the paths with a sleeping Snorlax: either Route 12 by Lavender Town or Route 16 by Celadon City. They lead onto some routes that are easy-going but full of high-level trainers and wild Pokémon which is a great way to level up if you’re a little behind. Don’t forget to take on the Dojo too, that we covered in the section above, if you haven’t already.

Once you’re ready, there’s a familiar looking puzzle inside Sabrina’s Gym: it’s more warp pads! We’ve mapped exactly where each pad goes to so you can get straight to battling.

There are 10 levels in total, plus the entrance area, with six trainers plus Gym Leader Sabrina. The gym is Psychic-type, so Bug, Ghost, and Dark-type attacks are going to come in handy here as you go.
