    Pokemon Lets Go Guide In

Pokemon Lets Go, Pikachu and Lets Go Eevee takes place in the Kanto Region but that doesnt mean that the Pokemon you will get to find is limited to that region. Luckily, there are certain Pokemon who managed to get into certain NPCs in the game that allow you to get them if you trade a specific Pokemon.

In the past Pokemon games, in-game trades have always been available for those who dont have friends to trade Pokemon with. However, they are only limited to trading one copy. Apparently in Pokemon Lets Go, Pikachu and Lets Go Eevee, they can be done unlimited times as long as you have the Pokemon they want to trade with.

Here are the list of In-Game trades that are possible in Pokemon Lets Go, Pikachu and Lets Go, Eevee. Please note that the Pokemon listed here will be their Alola Form as they are from the Alola Region.

    Take On The Master Trainers

Once you’ve enteredthe Hall of Fame, you will start to notice new Trainers throughout the Kantoregion. These are Master Trainers, dedicated Trainers that have devoted theirlives to training a particular species of Pokémon. Master Trainers can be foundanywhere, so you’ll want to retrace your steps through every route, tunnel, andbuilding to find them all.

Most MasterTrainers will challenge you to a one-on-one battle. The rest want you toimpress them with your training skills by showing them their favorite Pokémonwith an exceptionally high CP. You’ll want to raise these Pokémon to Lv. 100and feed them ample Candy to get their stats high enough to win these MasterTrainers’ favor.

If you do go up againstMaster Trainers, the fight can be very difficult. The catch is that you canonly use their Pokémon of choice during the battle, and no items! Most of theirPokémon will be between Lv. 65 and Lv. 80, so make sure your Pokémon are atleast comparable. If you need to build up your team, head to Cerulean Cave andbuild up a large Catch Combo by catching multiple Chansey. It provides a ton ofExp. Points when caught, so it’s a great way to level up your Pokémon. Be sureto boost your Pokémon’s stats by feeding them Candy, as wellyour opponentshave done the same.

    Pokmon That Cannot Be Traded

    Mid-generation additions

Starting with Generation IV, mid-generation releases started including new moves, items, forms, or even species of Pokémon. Since, prior to Generation VIII, they were impossible to trade to games that predate them, additional limitations have been put in place for them specifically. Most can be circumvented by altering the Pokémon’s moveset, held item and/or form, and with the exception of the Spiky-eared Pichu-related limitation, all of them have been lifted in their respective following Generations:

    • In Generation IV or V, new forms or items cannot be traded at all, even between games that support them. They include:
  • New species introduced in the games: Poipole, Naganadel, Stakataka, Blacephalon, and Zeraora.
  • Partner Cap Pikachu, Rockruff with Own Tempo and Dusk Form Lycanroc.
  • Starting with Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!, the games stopped supporting direct trades between games that aren’t paired releases entirely, rendering this matter moot. Also, starting with Pokémon Sword and Shield, they can receive support for new moves, items, forms, and species via updates, removing the need for such limitations as long as they are kept up-to-date.

    Other cases

Pokémon with certain Gift Ribbons cannot be traded over the GTS or through Wonder Trade.

Due to requiring special handling by the game, fused Pokémon cannot be traded. These are Black and White Kyurem, Dawn Wings and Dusk Mane Necrozma and Ice Rider and Shadow Rider Calyrex.

Pokmon Go Trade Evolution List And How Trade Evolutions Work

How To WONDER TRADE In Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee! Find Random People To Trade With

Before we get into the specifics of trading itself, lets start with 2020s big new feature trade evolutions.

In the mainline Pokémon games, theres a set of Pokémon that can only be evolved if theyre traded with another player. When Pokémon Go was released, these Pokémon were all evolved through candy, due to the lack of trading.

Now, however, trade evolution has been incorporated into Pokémon Go, offering a different evolution method for a specific group of Pokémon. These Pokémon are:

    • Kadabra
    • Karrablast
    • Shelmet

Once youve traded one of the above Pokémon, the candy cost for evolving them into their third and final evolution will be reduced to zero. This will allow you to quickly add this new Pokémon to your Pokédex, while also gaining a powerful new team member.

If you dont have any fellow trainers to trade with, however, youll still be able to evolve these Pokémon with the candy.

It costs 100 candy to evolve Kadabra, Machoke, Graveler and Haunter from Gen 1.

It costs 200 candy to evolve Boldore, Gurrdurr, Karrablast and Shelmet from Gen 5.

Its also important to note that Pokémon that evolve using a combination of items and candy in Pokémon Go dont receive the trade evolution discount. Even though, in the mainline games, a requirement of their evolution is being traded with another player.

Make It To The Go Park In Fuchsia City In Pokemon Lets Go

Now that your two accounts are all paired up, youll need to head to Go Park in Fuchsia City in Pokemon Lets Go in order to start transferring your Pokemon. Its quite a way into the main storyline of Lets Go, so you wont be able to get access to your arsenal of Pokemon Go critters until youve done at least a few gyms, and weaved your way to Fuchsia City.

The Go Park is to the north of the City, where Pokemon Yellow players would have found the Safari Park. Head inside the Go Park and speak to the receptionist at the desk on the left of the PokeStop-shaped Portal.

Here, choose the option Bring Pokemon, choose whatever Go Park you want to use and then itll go through a similar process to the original sync. However, dont panic, youre already connected, so just move onto the next step.

    Meowth For Alolan Meowth

This is the Let’s Go, Eevee equivalent of the Grimer trade. You will need to find the same punk trainer who will have an Alolan Meowth in this version. This Meowth will be level forty-four and come with a move set of slash, nasty plot, screech, and play rough. Which once again isn’t a very strong move set, but that can be quickly edited by the player to make Meowth more effective in battle.

Alolan Meowth is only dark type making it one of the few single type Alolan forms available.

Can I Use Pokmon Home To Transfer My Original Gen 1 And 2 Pokmon From Pokmon Red / Blue / Yellow / Gold / Silver / Crystal On Game Boy To Pokmon Sword And Shield

Unfortunately, no. The Pokémon you first caught two decades ago are forever trapped on those original Game Boy cartridges or on Pokémon Stadium. Of course, using various shady tactics and compromised hardware, enterprising Poké Trainers have been known to dump their original saves from the Game Boy carts, upload them to the 3DS Virtual Console versions of Pokémon Red and Blue, and then move those to Pokémon Bank, but we shall not delve into those dark arts here.

No, it seems that Stinkypoo the Pikachu, Wormy the Weedle and Metapoo the Metapod will die on our Game Boy carts along with the battery. Probably for the best, to be honest.

As explained by Pokémon HOME support, youll continue to have access to the Pokémon in your Basic Box, although all others will be inaccessible until you purchase another plan. Happily, it seems there is no limit to how long your Pokémon will remain frozen on the servers, as opposed to the previous storage solution on 3DS, Pokémon Bank.

Good news if you forget to renew your subscription plan, although wed still exercise caution if your Pokémon are particularly dear to you.

Cool Are There Any Pokmon I Cant Trade

How Does Online Trading Work in Pokemon Let’s Go on Nintendo Switch?

There are two major restrictions. You cant trade any mythical monsters, which only includes Mew in the game thus far and you cant trade away any Pokémon that you received in a trade. Once your friend gives you one of their Pokémon, its yours or its no ones.

Three more quick notes: You must be at least level 10 to trade. Hopefully youve reached that by now, since Pokémon Gos been out for nearly two years now. The Pokémon you want to trade must be revived. And you have to be at least age 13 in order to trade, for safety reasons.
