How To Get Shaymin In Pokemon Legends: Arceus
Players can catch Shaymin as part of a special post-game request, but only if they have save data from either Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield on their Switch. Assuming they do, they’ll need to trigger the quest by visiting the blackboard in Galaxy Hall and then make their way over to the Fieldlands Camp in the Obsidian Fieldlands. Once there, they should speak with Medi and then make their way to the Floaro Gardens area in the northwest part of the region to find and catch Shaymin. Medi will also give players the Gracidea key item, which can be used to switch between Shaymin’s Land and Sky Formes.
Gen Viii: Dual Wingbeat
- Power: 40
- Accuracy: 90%
- PP: 10
The only Flying-type move introduced in the latest generation , Dual Wingbeat is a bit of a letdown compared to others on this list. Granted, a single use does hit twice, giving it a total of 80 damage. However, its accuracy and PP are mediocre at best considering its power.
This attack would work fantastically as a mid-game move. Unfortunately, though, no Pokemon are currently able to learn it through level up. This may change in future generations, but for now, Dual Wingbeat’s only source is the Move Tutor on the Isle of Armor. Most of the time, it’s just not worth the trouble.
Pokemon Go: Best Grass
Grass is not typically considered an offensive type. Like Poison, it makes use of other strategies instead of pure damage output, like sleep and paralysis conditions, health-sapping moves, and more. However, Grass-type attackers see a lot of use against the all-too-common Rock/Ground combo, as well as being one of Water’s only two weaknesses. In the battle of Rock, Ground, and Water, Grass is good against all of them. Additionally, Grass is often paired with a secondary typing that allows it some more utility, depending on the context.
Venusaur is already a bulk monster, but that’s increased heavily by its Mega Evolution. Mega Venusaur sports an absolutely unbelievable max stat spread of 241 in Attack, 246 in Defense, and 190 in Stamina. This Grass/Poison-type is going to be standing for a long, long time, giving it massive TDO of ~1,005 points. The Grass-type move given to all Grass starters on Community Day, Frenzy Plant, is an extremely attractive factor. It’s easily one of the best moves in the game, and paired with the fast energy generation of Vine Whip, Mega Venusaur is a force to be reckoned with. It will one day be outclassed by Mega Sceptile, but for now, this bulky plant dino is here to soak up damage and deal it back out with ease.

Pokemon Go: The Best Bug
Overall, Bug isn’t the best type. Sure, it has its uses, especially in terms of taking down Psychic- and Dark-types from time to time, but both of those types have other weaknesses that are home to Pokemon that are much stronger. With that said, Bug-types can find some niche use here and there.
Mega Beedrill is far and away the best Bug-type, without question. However, even with its best Bug-type moveset of Bug Bite and X-Scissor, its DPS still falls behind. With a monster max Attack stat of 303, though, it’s worth paying attention to, especially with its low evolution cost from Weedle and Kakuna.
For the rest of the ranking, you’re looking at the same familiar faces that dominate the Bug-type in the main series. There are no surprises here, to be sure. Pinsir and Scizor both do very well, whether in their boosted Shadow forms or just the vanilla forms. When their Mega Evolutions are released, they’ll be pretty great, though they may not take down Mega Beedrill.
Genesect has a fun gimmick with its different Drives, but sadly none of them add much value. It’s best as a Bug- or Steel-type, with the moves to match. The different Techno Blast types can have their use in the PvP meta, but they aren’t that great in PvE. As far as Bug-types go, if you’re looking for something that isn’t Shadow or Mega Evolved, Genesect is the best.
Pokemon Go: Best Ghost
Ghost-types are often phenomenal, especially in matchups against Psychic-types. Given the high number of Psychic-type Legendaries, this comes in handy often. Shadow Ball is also one of the best moves in the game, so the fact that Ghost-types get STAB from it is very appealing.
Currently the only Ghost-type Mega Evolution in the game, Mega Gengar soars above the rest of the spooky crew. Its massive max Attack stat of 349 and access to fantastic moves make it one of the best Pokemon in the entire game, regardless of type. Lick and Shadow Claw are mostly interchangeable, but either one should be paired with Shadow Ball. Mega Gengar is so strong that it actually ranks as one of the best Dark-type attackers, too. It’ll be joined eventually by Mega Sableye and Mega Banette, but neither should pose much of a threat to M-Gengar’s top spot.
Chandelure, the Ghost/Fire-type from Gen V, was a fantastic Ghost-type then, and it is in Pokemon GO, too. It ranks high for both DPS and TDO, and its type combination is both useful and interesting. It makes for one of the best Ghost-type attackers, as well as one of the best Fire-type attackers, giving it some use for either function. Fore pure damage-per-second, it ranks third, and for total damage output, fifth. Plus, the fact that it doesn’t need to be Shadow or Mega Evolved is very, very nice.

Top 10 Best Flying Types In Pokmon Lets Go
In previous games, a Flying type Pokémon was mandatory with one of them needing the Fly move. However, Pokémon Lets Go has put all HMs into your cover Pokémon , but a Flying type Pokémon is still recommended for your team.
Flying moves are super effective against Fighting, Bug and Grass types. Which are all found commonly in pve and pvp alike. Additionally, being immune to Ground type moves is a very nice bonus.
So you know the details, but do you know which Flying Pokémon are the best? Choosing the right one is important, as some of them can lead to some significant weaknesses, while others have tons of benefits. This will cover the top 10 best Flying types in Pokémon Lets Go!
Note, I have left out the three legendary birds Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno. We all know how good they are, this list should help you choose a different option.
Pidgeotto is the last of the pre-final evolutions on this list. No doubt youve had Pidgeotto in your team at some point, the entire Pidgey line is iconic. Evolving from Pidgey at level 16, this Normal/Flying type Pokémon is a great choice for your first few gym badges.
Sand Attack is pretty potent and can carry battles by itself, so make sure you dont make your Pidgeotto forget it!

Whats Wrong With Rayquaza In Pvp
- Easily Exploitable Typing Rayquazas weaknesses leave plenty of room to be defeated by Pokemon that are easy to acquire and inexpensive to power up. A simple Clefable will take Ray Ray to the ground in the Great League
- Lower Coverage in Higher Leagues hitting issues persist in Ultra and Master League, where Giratina has better type and movement coverage, while Dragonite simply blows it out of the water with more HP.
- In the Master League, Dragonite, Dialga, and Palkia are in the top 10 of the leaderboard, making Ray Ray an expensive and unnecessary Stardust investment.
If youre looking for a powerful Dragon-type for PVP, Rayquaza isnt the answer. Dragonite, Dialga, Palkia and Giratina are.

Pokemon Go: Best Normal
Look, Normal-types are not as bad as people make them out to be. Sure, you’ll rarely find yourself using Normal-type attacks in Pokemon GO, but that doesn’t mean they’re totally useless. Normal-types only have one weakness , they have a double resistance to Ghost, and they get STAB from moves like Hyper Beam and Giga Impact. They also do neutral damage to every type except Rock and Steel, meaning they can be great generalists. Additionally, they learn a lot of moves from other types, which isn’t relevant in this specific ranking, but it’s worth noting.
The best among them is Shadow Porygon-Z, which is in line with the fact that Porygon-Z is great in the main series as well. With Lock-On and Tri-Attack, it’s going to have fantastic DPS and respectable TDO. Hyper Beam is viable, too, but not as good. But, Tri-Attack is locked behind an Elite TM as it’s a CD move. You can purify it for Return, which is decent as well, but then you lose the Shadow boost.
Note: It seriously looks like Arceus may arrive soon, given that the Season of Heritage promotional material contains very similar vibes to Pokemon Legends: Arceus . It looks like Arceus, while not putting the Normal-type on the map, will be a great addition to the game. It’s an immensely powerful Pokemon, so hopefully that remains true in this mobile side game.

What Pokemon Have A Good Defense Against Attacks From Flying Pokemon
Rock Type Pokemon
It is one of the weaknesses of the flying type. Most moves that a rock type has are physical moves, and they have a tremendous defensive stat against physical attacks.
Due to this, they are impressive against the flying type, which mainly relies on physical attacks to cause their opponents some damage.
Steel Type Pokemon
Another weakness of the flying type is the steel type. This is one of the most resistant pokemon in the universe. They resist around 10 types of pokemon and are one of the most vital types defensively.
The steel type is suitable against the flying type due to its defensive stats against physical attacks. Moreover, they sustain lesser damage from flying type attacks which is another strength for them.
Electric Type Pokemon
The electric type is another class of pokemon that are defensively amazing against flying type pokemon. Most of the attacks from a flying type pokemon are resisted by the electric type, making them fantastic to use against them.

Pokmon Go: The Best Pokmon Of Every Type
The best Pokémon of each type in Pokémon GO has the strongest attack stat of that typing. These can be helpful for winning Raid and Gym Battles.
There are a handful of Pokémon GO Pokémon of each type that are stronger than the others in that type. While Pokémon GO focuses primarily on capturing Pokémon by exploring the world, it also offers a pretty in-depth battle mechanic. To be a successful trainer in battle, players will need to know about typing advantages, CP, and properly using shields in battle. Players will need to put together a team from their captured Pokémon, and there are some creatures that are stronger than others. With 18 typings in Pokémon GO, there are many options for players to choose from.
The best Pokémon of each type in Pokémon GO primarily work well in Gym Battles and Raid Battles. It’s important to note that new Pokémon are constantly being added to the game and shifting the meta. However, it’s unlikely these added Pokémon will unseat many of the best Pokémon of each type. The best Pokémon of each type typically have the highest damage output in battle the more damage they can produce, the more valuable they are.

Pokemon Go Type Chart: Strength Weakness And Effectiveness For All Types
Pokemon Types are the core of battles in Pokemon Go just as in the rest of the series – and to succeed, you’ll need to understand Pokemon type strengths, weaknesses and effectiveness.
As hardcore Pokemon fans will already know quite well, each Pokemon has one or two types, and types determine much about how that Pokemon battles. For the Pokemon Trainer, type is important because certain types are strong against others, meaning you can deal or take additional damage, or on the other hand lessen the amount of damage received.
There’s 18 different types, and each type is either strong, weak or neutral versus other types. At the most basic level with the starter Pokemon this breaks down to Rock, Paper, Scissors – Charmander beats Bulbasaur who beats Squirtle which comes full circle by beating Fire.
That all makes sense and is nice and easy – though things get more complicated when you start introducing more obtuse Pokemon Types types like Fairy or Dragon, or when you consider Pokemon with multiple types. Then you have to consider that moves have types – so a fire-type Pokemon like Charizard can easily come stacked with Dragon and Flying-type moves, meaning its damage output on the type chart is attached to those types rather than its raw type.

How To Get Thundurus In Pokemon Legends: Arceus
Before players can catch Thundurus, they’ll first need to complete the main story and then work their way through the post-game content until they’ve caught Giratina. Speaking with Cogita again after doing so will unlock Request #94, which involves catching the four Forces of Nature. Thundurus can be found in the water near the Coastland Campsite in the Cobalt Coastlands region, though only when there’s a storm taking place. Players may therefore need to rest multiple times until they get the weather pattern required. When Thundurus does show up, they should hit it with a Poke Ball to lower its shield and then quickly engage it in battle. To switch between the Pokemon’s Incarnate and Therian forms, players will need the Reveal Glass, which is obtained by returning to Cogita after catching Enamorus and fully completing its Pokedex entry.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus is available now for the Nintendo Switch.
How To Get Gyarados In Pokemon Legends: Arceus
Players can catch Gyarados in the Obsidian Falls and Lake Verity areas of the Obsidian Fieldlands, the Sand’s Reach area of the Cobalt Coastlands, and the Primeval Grotto area of the Coronet Highlands. Alternatively, they can find its unevolved form Magikarp in the same two areas of the Obisidian Fieldlands as well as in the Fabled Spring area of the Coronet Highlands. Magikarp evolves into Gyarados at Level 20.

Pokemon Go: Best Water
If you’re in need of a good Water-type, you’re a bit spoiled with choice. There are plenty of great Water-types, as well as some great ones that aren’t even released yet. And, you can dominate without even needing a Shadow version or a Mega Evolution, as many Water-types measure up to the big fish in their vanilla forms.
The likes of Kingler, Feraligatr, and Kyogre need no special boost to sit with the upper echelons.
With Kyogre, you’re looking at a massive TDO of 919.04, and that’s before its signature move, Origin Pulse, is even in the game, OR its Primal Reversion, which will just be ridiculous when it arrives. Kyogre once ruled the seas before the release of Mega Evolution and Shadow Pokemon, but it still compares to them, and it’ll be back on top when its Primal Reversion is released.
Kingler was relatively unremarkable before Crabhammer was added, and that addition catapulted it to the hall of fame among Water-types. Its DPS almost outpaces Kyogre, though it’ll go down faster, making it a bit of a glass cannon in comparison. However, with a massive max Attack stat of 240, Kingler hits hard.
The absolute best of the best in the world of Water Pokemon are Mega Blastoise, Mega Gyarados, and Shadow Swampert.
