How To Evolve Flareon Jolteon & Vaporeon In Pokemon Go
Once youve used the nickname once, you need to use an alternate method for every other Eevee you evolve afterward. For Flareon, Jolteon, and Vaporeon, youll need a bit of luck.
Sadly, there is no sure-fire way to guarantee youll get any of these three its completely random when you hit Evolve. Yes, you will get one of the Gen I mon, but you cant choose which one.

This means that youll either need to be insanely lucky to get the one you want on your first try, or youll need to catch multiple Eevee and stock up on lots of Candy, as the method costs 25 every time.
How To Evolve Using Nicknames To Guarantee Your Choice Of Eevee Evolution
If you evolve an Eevee ‘raw’ by spending 25 candy, it’ll just evolve into one of the different available evolutions at random. However, you can actually force a specific evolution by renaming your Eevee of choice to a special nickname – and the whole thing began as an easter egg nod to a classic set of Eevee evolutions found in the Pokemon anime TV show.
So, basically, all you have to do is rename your Eevee to a specific name and then evolve it the regular way by spending 25 candy. Here are the names and the Eevee Evolutions:

An important note about this little cheat: it only works once per Eevee Evolution. Once you’ve renamed one Eevee as Tamao to get Umbreon, for instance, you’ll only be able to get another Umbreon through ‘natural’ means – with that exact method depending on the eeveelution in question. This is why you should check your CP values and IV values before evolving an Eevee – make sure it’s a good one, as you only get one shot.

Strongest Eevee Evolutions In Pokemon Go
If you go off maximum Combat Power potential, then the strongest evolution is Espeon. This Psychic-type evolution can grow to a maximum CP of 3583. To evolve into an Espeon, you have to nickname it Sakura before pressing Evolve. The second strongest is Glaceon, an Ice-type that first emerged in the Sinnoh region. Its also quite new to Pokemon Go, having only entered the game in mid-2020. It has a max CP of 3535, and has the evolution nickname of Rea.
In third place is Vaporeon, the Water-type, which has a maximum CP of 3521. As with Espeon, you need to name your Eevee Rainer before evolving to get Vaporeon. The middle-ranking Eevee is Flareon, a Fire-type that was one of the first Eeveelutions. With a CP max of 3424, its a fearsome threat for Grass-type enemies. To evolve Eevee into Flareon, nickname it Pyro.
The fifth-strongest is Sylveon, a Fairy-type evolution that was introduced in the Galar era of Pokemon games. Its max CP of 3470 is still respectable, despite ranking lower on the list. Its evolution nickname is Kira. Next is Leafeon, the Grass-type that has a max CP of 3328. It has a lot of type-based weaknesses, which is a problem but if you want it, name your Eevee Linnea.
Those are all the Eevee evolutions in Pokemon Go, and as you can see, theyre all pretty strong.
How To Play With And Feed Your Buddy In Pokmon Go
Let’s start with the basics. To play with your Buddy in Pokémon Go, make sure you’re first Trainer Level 2 and have a Buddy assigned, then tap the Buddy icon in the lower left corner of the screen, next to your Trainer Profile.
Next, press the Play! button. Your phone camera will then activate. If you are in AR mode, you must find a flat surface. Point towards it until yellow footprints appear, then tap.
If it then says you are too close to your Buddy, back away a step or two, and it should appear.
If you’re struggling, remember you can disable AR mode in the Settings, so the Pokémon will simply appear on the screen.
With the Pokémon visible, you can play by rubbing it. You can also feed it by tapping the Berry icon.
Unlike during the catch phase where berries are simply tapped, on the Buddy screen they must be thrown like a Poké Ball to your Buddy’s mouth. You don’t lose your Berry if you miss however, so keep trying!
Once they are fully fed, they will join you on an Adventure, where they can start earning Hearts for that day…

How To Get Glaceon On Pokemon Go
If this is the first time, the Pokémon must be renamed Rea and then it can be evolved. If you already have a Glaceon, it is possible to obtain a frosty lure for 200 coins in the Shop. This lure must be used on a Pokéstop in order to activate it. These lures last half an hour except in some special events. Youll have 30 minutes to make the Pokémon evolve.
Evolutions can also take place when another player uses a Lure Module. When the player is not in the Lure Module area, he or she cannot upgrade. If this is not the first time Eevee has evolved into Glaceon, you must have a Glacial Lure Module to evolve the Pokémon and 25 Eevee candies for Eevee to evolve into Glaceon.
How To Evolve Eevee Into Leafeon
If you’re wanting a second Leafeon the naming trick will no longer work.
This final form for Eevee can be achieved using Pokémon GO’s lures.
If you’re at a Pokéstop, use a Mossy Lure.
When in range with the lure active, you will have the option to evolve your Eevee by feeing it enough candies.
This will also attract bug, grass and poison type Pokémon to the area.

Pokmon Go: How To Evolve Leafeon And Glaceon
The Gen 4 evolutions Leafeon and Glaceon can be evolved specifically by using Lure Modules at PokéStops. To do this, you need a Moss Lure Module for Leafeon and a Glacier Lure Module for Glaceon. These can be purchased for 200 coins in the in-app store and are sometimes available in quests.
Once you have the right module, go to a PokéStop without a currently active Lure and attach it there. Once the module is active, the outline on the Eevee evolution button should show the corresponding Pokémon. If it doesnt, youll need to get closer to the PokéStop. If the correct monster is visible, you can tap the button and perform the evolution.
How Does One Evolve Sylveon In Pokemon Go
The introduction of Gen VI Pokemon to Pokemon Go is well underway but Sylveon and Eevees Fairy type evolution, has not yet made its Pokemon Go debut. We do not know when Niantic will introduce subsequent and final Eeveelution, but it cannot be too far away. Sylveon has appeared within the Pokemon Go splash screen and data miners have even uncovered the nickname for Sylveon. As for Sylveons normal evolution manner, that is still a mystery.
Since neither mechanic exists in Pokemon Go, well need to wait and see how Niantic chooses to implement this Eeveelution however, my best guess is that itll involve Pokemon Go Buddy Adventure.

What Time Is Considered Day/night To Evolve Espeon/umbreon
Day and night are based your local time. But they can be determined by looking at the environment and sky in-game. If its day in-game, you can evolve in to an Espeon. If its night in-game, you can evolve in to an Umbreon. Another way to check is to look at the silhouette on the evolve button to see which evolution the game will give you.
The Original Eevee Evolutions: Vaporeon Jolteon And Flareon
Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon are the original Eevee evolutions from the first generation. Sadly, there isnt a sure-fire way of obtaining any of them after youve exhausted the single-use naming trick. You can still get another Vaporeon, Jolteon, or Flareon by evolving Eevee with 25 Candy, but what youll get will all be up to the random generator. Luckily, you wont have a hard time finding or catching an Eevee since its a common Pokémon in the game. Just play frequently, and youll have enough Eevees to evolve into any of the three original Eevee evolutions. However, if youre having a hard time getting a particular one, you can always try trading with other players.

How To Evolve Multiple Umbreons And Espeons
A second method of evolving Eevee into Umbreon and Espeon exists, and it’s surprisingly easy. Simply make Eevee your buddy Pokémon and walk 10km. You can then evolve your Eevee at night to unlock Umbreon, or during the day for Espeon. You can easily tell if it’s day or night by looking at the colour of your map or listening to the game’s music, but ensure that you have good signal before evolving – the game needs to know the time of day in your exact location and if your signal drops at the wrong moment, you’ll get a Vaporeon, Jolteon or Flareon no matter how far you’ve walked.
How To Choose Your Eevee Evolution
Here are the Eevee evolutions that are available and the codename that you will need to choose who they turn into:

If you don’t change the name, the Eevee will evolve into any of the forms that are available in Pokemon Go: Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Umbreon, Espeon, Leafeon or Glaceon.
But what are these names you have to change? They are the names of the Pokemon owners, dug out from Pokelore. So, for example, Espeon was Sakura’s, and one of her older sisters is Tamao, who owned Umbreon.

The only guaranteed way to get a Glacial Lure, Mossy Lure and Magnetic Lure is from purchasing them in the in-game shop for 200 Coins each.
These lures have also appeared as a one-time reward for certain questlines in the past, too, so it’s worth keeping an eye out for when they appear. For example, on the Rainy Lure’s debut, the final step of the coinciding Luminous Legends X event offered one as a reward.

Pokémon Go Buddy Adventure is a huge update to one of the game’s earliest features.

How To Get Sylveon In Pokemon Go

Trainers need to make Eevee their buddy and earn 70 hearts with it. What Is The Rarest Shiny Eeveelution
There is no way to tell what the rarity of different Eeveelutions are but Sylveon is likely the rarest at the moment simply because it is the newest with Leafeon and Glaceon being next. Even if it isnt the rarest, shiny Sylveon is arguably the most eye-catching with its transformation from pink to baby blue.
Umbreon and Vaporeon are also great shinies, with Umbreons yellow rings turning neon blue and Vaporeon going from blue to purple. Many of the other Eeveelutions have underwhelming shiny transformations and some barely look any different from their normal versions.
