Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee Walkthrough

Must read

Where Wild Pokmon Appear Has Changed

Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! – 100% Full Game Walkthrough | PART 1

Whilst players familiar with Kanto from the original first-gen games, or the FireRed and LeafGreen remakes, might recognise a lot of traditional locations for Pokémon, there’s been a shake-up to how quite a few of them appear.

There are some very rare Pokémon that can appear on even some very early routes – which we won’t spoil here – under the right circumstances. That’s partially down to a new mechanic called a Catch Combo, which we explain in that linked guide in much more detail. In brief, it’s a streak you can build up of catching the same species of Pokémon, and one of the benefits is an increased chance of something super-rare appearing around you.

They’re not on every route, but keep an eye out for these super-rare creatures as you go, and our Pokémon Let’s Go walkthrough will point out any available ones along the way, too!

Red Blue And Green Locations And Mega Stones

This page contains the locations and screenshots of Red, Blue, and Green, special trainers that give you Mega Stones in the Post-Game after defeating the Elite Four. Pokemon: Let’s Go brings back a lot of classic elements from Pokemon Yellow, but also some new twists to mix things up. Among those changes are the appearance of three classic trainers, reminding you that you’re not the first trainer to have a Pokemon adventure in Kanto.

Red, Blue, and Green are trainers from the original Pokemon games who you won’t get to battle at full strength until after you’ve completed Let’s Go Pikachu or Eevee‘s main story.

Pokemon Lets Go Story Items

If youve curiously searched for any of the items listed on this page, but are wary of spoilers, just know that youll eventually get each of them as you progress through the main story of Pokemon Lets Go.

So if for instance youre wondering how to get tea for the gate guard as soon as youve left Cerulean City, just know that youll find it eventually during your adventure and head off into the Underground Pass.

But if youre stuck and after more specific help, do read on!

Green Trainer Location And Mega Stone

Pokemon Let

After you become Pokemon League Champion and complete the main story, youll hear rumors of a powerful Pokemon appearing in Cerulean City. That Pokemon turns out to be Mewtwo, and you can find and capture him in Cerulean Cave, just to the west of Nugget Bridge.

But after youve caught Mewtwo and return outside, a trainer will speak to you and mention that a girl also went inside the cave searching for Mewtwo. If you head back into Cerulean Cave and back to the platform where you encountered Mewtwo, Green will be waiting for you there and will eventually battle you.

Beating Green will earn you Mewtwonite X and Mewtwonite Y, which allow you to Mega Evolve Mewtwo.

Green can also be encountered in Cerulean City in the postgame, where shell battle you once again but wont offer you any additional reward. After beating her the second time, Blaine in Cinnabar Island will mention running into her as well.

Berries Are Much More Important Now

Especially Razz Berries, we’ve found, as they can really help make tricky-to-catch Pokémon easier to obtain.

Berries are never visible to be picked up in the world though, unlike other items that you find lying around the place in Poké Ball form. They’re always hidden, or given to you. One great place to search – which makes sense when you think about it – is bushes and flowers around the world. Again, we mark any that we find in our walkthrough!

Challenge All 153 Master Trainers

Now that youve become the Pokémon League Champion, youre ready for the ultimate challengethe Master Trainers Challenge!

Throughout the region of Kanto, there exists 153 master trainers. These trainers dedicated their whole lives to training one particular Pokémon from the Pokédex.

Your task is to defeat all of them using the same species of Pokémon they have. You only can use one Pokémon and you cannot use any items in battle. This is a challenge that will prove your mettle in battle, as well as pave your path towards becoming the best Pokémon trainer of all.

To help you with this quest, heres a location guide for all 153 master trainers in the region of Kanto.

Fly In The Sky With Your Pokmon

After you become the Champion, your world will seemingly expand. As a result, youll now be able to fly in the sky with your Pokémon.

There are only three Pokémon you can fly with. They are Aerodactyl, Charizard, and Dragonite. Simply take them out of their Poké Balls in the party menu and fly away!

Note that flying with your Pokémon will enable you to travel faster over the land and sea. However, you wont be able to fly through gatehouses. Youll also be able to encounter wild Pokémon in the sky for you to catch.

Hunt For Shiny Pokmon

Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee – Gameplay Walkthrough Part 1 – Intro and Gym Leader Brock!

Whether or not you have the Shiny Charm, you can encounter shiny Pokémon everywhere. They appear depending on your luck. However, theres are certain methods that you can use to increase the odds of you encountering them.

One method is by chain catching Pokémon. By catching only a certain species of Pokémon consecutively, you significantly increase the chances of their shiny variants to appear.

Another method is by obtaining the Shiny Charm. Once you have the Shiny Charm in your inventory, shiny Pokémon will appear more in the wild automatically.

This is the end-game goal. Its not just about completing the Pokédex anymore. Its all about acquiring all variants of Pokémon in the game. As the franchises tagline goesGotta catch em all!

Gifted Pokmon Have Really Great Stats

Throughout Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee you’ll be gifted with Pokémon from people in the game world – like we said, it pays to talk to people!

These are consistently excellent Pokémon, by which we mean they have excellent stats. In our experience, gifted Pokémon had ‘Best’ in that Pokémon’s highest base stat, and then ‘Fantastic’ – the tier just down from Best – in two others, with Good in the rest. This means that a gifted Magikarp, say, will often beat a wild Magikarp that you caught yourself. So that $500 for a gifted one outside Mt. Moon is actually a bargain!

Battle Pokmon Master Green

After you catch Mewtwo in Cerulean Cave and make your way out, your rival will approach you. He will tell you about a gutsy female trainer whos also trying to catch Mewtwo. Once the talk is over, go back to the spot where you found Mewtwo. There, you will find Green.

Challenge Green and she will reward you with the Mewtwonite X and Mewtwonite Y mega stones after you win the battle.

Note that you can re-challenge Green every day in front of the fountain in Cerulean City.

Don’t Worry Too Much About Which Version You Choose

Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee’s version differences are pretty similar to all the previous mainline Pokémon games. Some – but not many – Pokémon are ‘version exclusive’, meaning thay can only be caught in either Let’s Go Pikachu or Let’s Go Eevee.

There aren’t that many of these though, and so you can either trade with a friend, or import them from Pokémon Go, if you need to fill out your Pokédex!

Otherwise, there are some very minor touches – your battles with your Rival for instance, that aren’t too frequent, will see him featuring slightly different Pokémon depending on which version you’re playing – other than the one big one, of course: whether you want your partner to be Pikachu or Eevee!

Collect All Pokmon Outfits

Pokemon Lets Go Eevee Gameplay Walkthrough Part 2

Similar to the Trainer Outfits, Pokémon Outfits can be found all over the region of Kanto. Most Pokémon Outfits come as a set with the Trainer Outfits. The only difference is that accessories and glasses can be bought for your Pikachu or Eevee partner.

All accessories and glasses can be purchased from the Celadon Department Store in Celadon City. If you aspire to get the best accessorythe Special Crownyou will have to shell out a whopping 999,999 Pokédollars.

This huge building is located in the heart of Saffron City, which is also the heart of Kanto in Pokemon Lets Go. After you get the tea from Brock in Celadon City, you can take any of the routes leading towards Saffron in Pokemon Lets Go.

After a short scuffle, you can follow them inside and free the building from the crime organization. Before going in, make sure you heal your mons first, as you will fight Blue on the first floor.

Things To Do After Beating Pokmon: Let’s Go Pikachu And Eevee

As the newest champion of the region of Kanto, a new page has turned in your adventure. Although theres nothing much to do in the postgame of Pokémon: Lets Go Pikachu and Eeveeas compared to the past installments of the gamethere are still extra things you can do to get the most out of the game.

I was able to list down 30 postgame activities for this game. Thats alright considering that this game is more of a nostalgic train ride to vintage players and a stellar introduction to fresh players rather than a conventional and competitive playground.

So, what are you waiting for? Theres still stuff to do. Enjoy the postgame of Pokémon: Lets Go Pikachu and Eevee like youre in a brand new world!

Pokemon: Let’s Go Eevee! – Walkthrough – Gameplay – Let’s Play – Switch – Part 1

Especially as you get later into the game, and its tricker environments.

Later on, you’ll find yourself in areas that can have some fairly complex puzzles to solve, like pushing around stone boulders or using teleporter pads! The issue is, these can be awkard to do when there are large amounts of wild Pokémon appearing all over the place and getting in the way. Don’t be afraid to stock up on Repels, Super Repels and Max Repels at Poké Marts to use in situations like this, and give yourself some space to move things around and think!

If you’re running low on cash, items like Nuggets, Stardust, and Pearls don’t serve any function, but can be sold at a very high price each! If you have them, sell them whenever you want, as money is all that they’re good for. Be sure to keep your items in mind in general as you play through the game they can really make a difference.

Silph Co is one of the many locations youll stumble across in Pokemon Lets Go. This building is home to some of the most brilliant inventions in all of Kanto, which is why its always a big target for Team Rocket. The building is comprised of multiple floors and its pretty easy to get lost. Travel With An Extra Pokmon By Your Side

Youll either have Pikachu or Eevee hanging on you at all times, but you can also release one additional Pokémon from its Pokéball. We started with Eevee but still had a Pikachu we caught early in travel on our heels. Your companion Pokémons bonding level increases from letting it out of its cramped Pokéball, and you can increase this further by stopping to interact with it. Youll be rewarded in battles at times when the Pokémon cures itself of status conditions, refuses to faint or avoids attacks.

The other benefit of having a Pokémon follow you is that it will find hidden berries. When it stops in its tracks and has a text bubble over its head, you will often receive a few berries.

Get To Grips With The Controls Plus A Handy Workaround

Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee Walkthrough 03 – Pewter City Route 3

Motion controls can’t be turned off, but there are some workarounds, and some things to bear in mind, than can make your life easier if you’re stuggling.

The way the controls work depends on what mode you’re in. When docked, you use a Joy-Con or the PokéBall Plus in a throwing action to throw the ball. When in handheld, you move the Switch around itself to aim your throw, or you can use the left analog stick to aim at the same time.

To make docked mode throwing a little easier, it’s worth knowing that the ‘Get Ready’ button you press on the catch screen has a function: it ‘sets’ the current position of the Joy-Con or Poké Ball Plus your using as ‘centred’, so to speak. So if you press Get Ready, and then move the Joy-Con over to the right and start your throwing action from there, then the game will account for this and the ball will appear from the right hand side.

If it seems like balls are appearing from all over the shop when you’re trying to catch in docked then, it might be that you’re not bearing in mind your position when you ‘set’ yourself by pressing Get Ready!

As for handheld mode, you can workaround motion controls entirely by simply putting the Switch itself down on a flat surface. If you enter the catch screen and don’t move the Switch, then the Pokémon will just move side to side , and you can just aim at it with the left stick. This is worth bearing in mind for accessibility’s sake as much as it is just general convenience!
