According to trusted Pokemon wiki, Bulbapedia, there are as many as 829 Pokemon species, and of that number, only 20 are considered Mythical.
Considered as a subset of the already rare and powerful species of Pokemon classified as Legendary, the Pokemon who are classified as Mythical are treated in even higher regard, and in some cases, considered even more powerful.
With that said, we decided to round them all up and rank the best Mythical Pokemon according to strength, starting with the weakest.

Mega Mewtwo X And Y And Mew
Mew is the ancestor of all existing Pokemon. It is a Mythical Psychic type Pokemon that is said to contain the genetic composition of the entire species.
If Mew is the OG Mythical, Mewtwo is the OG Legendary. Mewtwo was created by Team Rocket scientists through cloning and splicing Mews DNA with the goal of making it the worlds strongest Pokemon. Well, its almost there.
I know its weird having both these guys at the same rank, but my list isnt all about stats. Mewtwo had the highest stats in the games for the longest time, especially with its Mega Evolution into 2 forms X and Y.
But Mew can de-evolve any Pokemon and actually use all known Pokemon moves, making him the true daddy of the Pokemon universe.
Every Legendary Pokmon Ranked
One of the strangest things about Legendary Pokémon is that there are now 62 of them and thats without including Mythicals like Mew, Celebi, and Jirachi. In a way, the fact that approximately 7% of Pokémon are now considered Legendary almost takes away from the magic that term is supposed to hold.
Still, these Pokémon are all one of a kind. After putting together lists of the ten best Legendary Pokémon and ten worst Legendary Pokémon, we decided to take on the Sisyphean task of officially ranking all 62, because why not? Someone had to do it eventually.
This was implied in the first paragraph, but for the sake of clarity: This list only includes Legendary Pokémon, meaning that no Mythicals appear here. If youre annoyed about why Mew isnt number one, its because it is technically speaking not a Legendary Pokémon. Mewtwo, on the other hand, is.

Crown Shield Zamazenta And Crown Sword Zacian
Zacian and Zamazenta are Warrior Pokemon, ancient heroes of the Galar region, two halves of the Hero Duo introduced in Generation 8. They worked alongside a human king to save the region from Eternatus, on the calamitous Darkest Day.
