Pokemon Finally Gives Cynthias Garchomp A Mega Evolution

Pokemon Journeys is currently making its way through the quarterfinals of the Masters Tournament with the latest episodes of the series now airing in Japan, and the newest episode took things one step further for the Sinnoh Champion Cynthia as she used Garchomps own Mega Evolution. One of the major core appeals of the World Coronation Series was not only the fact that Ash Ketchum was going to go up against every region hes ever adventured through before, but the fact that he was also able to now use the regional specific tricks and evolution he has learned about over the years too.

While this has been true for Ash, its also been true for every other competitor as they are allowed to use either Z-Moves, Mega Evolution, or Dynamax in each of their battles. The Masters Tournament has already seen some of these tricks over the course of its first two battles so far, and the third match in the quarterfinals has taken it to the next step as Cynthia has been taking on Iris and unleashed her own Mega Evolution for Garchomp during the climax of the battle itself. Pokmon Journeysepisode 124 Recap

As we prepare for what is coming up in the next episode of Pokémon Journeys, let us quickly recap what happened in the latest episode:

The second confrontation of the semifinal of the Eight Masters Tournament is about to begin, before that, Ash prepares himself along with his Pokémon, while Cynthia talks with Diantha who at the end of the tournament withdraws from the combats. The trainers arrive at the stadium releasing their first Pokémon, Dragonite on Ashs side and Spiritomb on Cynthias side.

Dragonite starts using the draco comet but is stopped by Spiritombs cheap shot. Dragonite manages to throw it but Spiritomb manages to dodge it. Dragonite uses dragon claw but Spiritomb uses hypnosis to put him to sleep and uses dream eater to defeat him surprising all the people who see the combat. Ash takes out the second Pokemon out of it being Gengar while Cynthia goes back to Spiritomb and takes out the Roserade out of it.

Roserade starts with a seeding while Gengar with a shadow ball hitting each other with the rival attack. Gengar uses will-o-the-wisp but Roserade counters with Rain Leaves, causing the Pokémon to take a lot of damage and Roserade to be burned. Cynthia seeing this returns to her Pokémon and returns with Spiritomb which she uses low blow causing Gengar while using magic shine. Gengar is hit quite hard causing him to fall weakened.

The Japanese opening song is “One, Two, Three” by After the Rain‘s Soraru and Mafumafu for 31 episodes, and by Nishikawa-kun and Kirish for 17 episodes . The ending songs are “Pokémon Shiritori” by the Pokémon Music Club’s Junichi Masuda, Pasocom Music Club, and Pokémon Kids 2019, divided into two parts: the Pikachu Mew Ver. for 18 episodes and for 5 episodes ended in even numbers, 40, 42, 44, 46, and 48 and the Mew Zamazenta Ver. for 20 episodes and for 4 episodes ended in odd numbers, 41, 43, 45, and 47, the Japanese main theme song of Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle, “Strange and Wonderful Creatures” by Tortoise Matsumoto for 1 episode to promote the movie, and the English opening song is “The Journey Starts Today” by Walk off the Earth. Its instrumental version serves as the ending theme.

2 Sequels, Master Journeys and Pokemon: Ultimate Journeys were Released. a Spin-Off Arc, titled Pokémon: The Arceus Chronicles is set to be release in September 23rd, 2022

Where To Watch Pokmon Journeys Episode 125

The only place where you can watch Pokémon Journeys on a regular basis in the West is Netflix. Now, while the show is regulalrly airing in Japan, in the West, it is only available through Netflix, in both subbed and dubbed format. The issue with the series is that Netflix is not simulcasting the series, but rather releasing it in batches of episodes, months after the original Japanese premiere. This means that we will have to wait some time after the Japanese premiere to stream the episode.

In the UK, Pokémon Journeys will premiere on 1 September 2020 on the TV channel POP, which is available on Freesat 603, Sky 616, and Virgin Media 736.

Its been a long wait for UK fans, as part 1 of the English dub has been out in the US since Summer, whilst the original Japanese version has been out since 2019.

The four-part Pokemon Journeys Arceus special event has already begun, with the first two episodes releasing today, Friday, January 21, 2022.

Episodes 1 and 2 of the event are titled Arceus the One Called a God, which sees the return of a beloved Pokemon character.

Episodes 3 and 4 will premiere on Friday, January 28, 2022, airing in tandem with the release of Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

Pokemon Journeys Part 6 On Netflix Us Is Pokemon Master Journeys Part 2

Although we know that Season 24 is called Pokemon Master Journeys, the question is whether Netflixs Pokemon Journeys is just continuing on with the Pokemon Master Journeys name change or will Pokemon 2021 restart the episode count with Pokemon Season 24 as part of Generation 8.

Just like the anime TV series has done in the past, the title for Pokemon Journeys 2021 was extended to include the new focus for the year. For example, the three seasons of Generation 7, Pokemon: Sun and Moon, were extended with the subtitles Ultra Adventures and Ultra Legends.
