Where to Find Eevee in Pokemon Sword and Shield
Eevee is actually really easy to get in Pokemon Sword and Shield. The best place to find and catch an Eevee is Route 4. As you explore Route 4, you will come across some yellow grass. Eevee is often hiding inside this yellow grass on either side of the path. You can explore the area to find an Eevee. You can always return later if you dont find one on your first trip. If you played Pokemon Lets Go, Eevee! when it came out and still have a saved file on your system, you are eligible for a free Eevee. However, you must note that this Eevee cannot be evolved to any form no matter how high its level gets. With the arrival of the new Sinnoh Pokémon , Niantic has made three new Bait Modules available to players, including the Glacier and the Mossy. These two Modules will allow us to activate the evolution of Eevee to Glaceon and Leafeon, respectively .

Wed say that if you dont have a keen interest in evolving Eevee, you can evolve it to Espeon so you can at least have a strong Pokemon in your possession, even if you dont plan on using it.

Until now we had been working with Jolteon, Flareon, Vaporeon, Umbreon and Espeon, but today we got Leafeon and Glaceon, meaning that were only missing one of Eevees various evolutions. Leafeon is Eevees grass-type evolution and Glaceon is the Ice-type, and both are capable little creatures just like their siblings. Read on for how to evolve Leafeon and Glaceon in Pokémon GO.
Leafeon and Glaceon, like other Gen 4 evolutions of previous-generation Pokémon, require a special item to evolve. Unlike all those other creatures, however, that item is not a Sinnoh Stone. Its a new special type of lure module: a mossy lure for Leafeon, and a glacial lure for Glaceon.
The mossy and glacial lure modules lure particular Pokémon to whatever stop you use them on, making for a marked difference from the usual, anything goes-style lure module. They also allow for evolution. Basically, all you need to do is drop your lure into any given Pokéstop and then select your Eevee. Youll see a special option so long as youre in the range of the Pokéstop and have 25 candies. Select that to get your Leafeon or your Glaceon, depending on your lure.

How To Evolve Eevee Into Sylveon In Pokemon Sword And Shield
Sylveon is a Fairy-type Pokemon, but it does not require any stone for the evolution. To evolve an Eevee into a Sylveon, players need to make sure that their Eevee knows a Fairy-type move afterward they need to increase Eevee’s Friendship level to three hearts and level it up to evolve it into a Sylveon. However, if the Eevee does not know a Fairy-type move, then it will not evolve into a Sylveon instead, it might evolve into an Umbreon or Espeon depending on the time of day.

Gen 4 Leafeon and Glaceon have a second evolution method, using the Mossy Bait Module or the Glacial Bait Module, respectively. When you are near that PokéStop with the Bait Module activated, go to your Eevee and choose the evolution.
On the other hand, Gen 2 Umbreon and Espeon also have a second evolution method. Walk with your Eevee as a companion for ten kilometers and make it evolve overnight or day and it will transform into the desired evolution.
Note that you have to walk exactly 10 kilometers and get two Candies in the process, and then keep Eevee as a companion when it evolves and make it day or night in the game for it to work .

Since the name trick only works once per evolution type, it seems like a useful way to get a second Espeon or Umbreon with some reliability.
Evolving Eevee Into Leafeon In Pokemon Go
Leafeon is the 470th Pokemon and is the first Eevee evolution from the Sinnoh region. Leafeon is a grass type, so it’s strong in battles against rock and ground types, as well as water Pokemon like Poliwag.
To get Leafon, simply change an Eevees name to “Linnea,” then evolve it with 25 Eevee candies.
An alternative method to the name cheat is to purchase a Mossy Lure Module from the Pokemon Go Store for 200 coins, placing it in a Poke Stop, then evolving an Eevee while youre near it.

How To Evolve Into Espeon And Umbreon
The first time you want to get your hands on Espeon and Umbreon, you can use the name trick detailed above. Evolve an Eeevee called Tamao to get an Umbreon, or an Eevee named Sakura to evolve it into Espeon. After that, youll need to evolve them the old-fashioned way, by completing certain goals.
For Espeon and Umbreon, you can also evolve into them based on their in-game method of evolution in Pokemon Gold and Silver back on the Game Boy based on the time of day. In order to do this, youll first need to build a relationship with your Eevee. Set them as your buddy Pokemon and walk with them as much as you can.
Once youve walked 10km with that Eevee as your buddy Pokemon, its ready to evolve into either Epseon or Umbreon. Just evolve in the day for Espeon and night for Umbreon and this isnt limited, you can do it as often as you like!
All The Eevee Nickname Tricks
When Pokémon Go launched, there were no evolution stones items from the core games that allow you to evolve certain Pokémon. Eevees first three evolutions normally require these special items to evolve, so Pokémon Go left Eevees evolution up to chance. However, the folks over at Niantic did hide a little Easter eggs in game. If you rename an Eevee to these nicknames, each based on a notable NPCs Pokémon from the anime or core games, theyll evolve into exactly the Eeveelution you want, but you can only use each one once per account:

How To Evolve Eevee Into Umbreon
Umbreon is a Dark-type Eevee evolution, introduced in Pokemon Gold and Silver.
Evolve Eevee into Umbreon also by raising its Friendship to three hearts, except this time, make sure it levels up during the night time. If you take it to the friendship checker in Hammerlocke, he will say “You two get along great! Together is always better–am I right?”

The standard way to evolve Eevee into Sylveon is simply to earn enough hearts with it while its set as your Buddy Pokemon. Youll earn hearts with Eevee by feeding, playing, and taking snapshots of it. Youll need to earn 70 hearts for it to evolve into Sylveon, howeverso while this process is straightforward, its also a bit time-consuming. Once youve earned 70 hearts, the question mark on Eevees Evolve button will change to a silhouette of Sylveon.
Go Beyond Level 40 With Eeveelutions
With the recently announced increase in the level cap, reaching the top levels in Pokémon Go now requires completing Special Level-Up Research. For level 42, Trainers need to evolve one of each of Eevee’s unique evolutions. This task isn’t retroactive either, so you will need to evolve all seven again, even if you have them already. Pokemon Go currently has Pokemon from several generations and the most recent Eevee Evolution added to the game is Sylveon, a Pokemon added in generation 6. In the main Pokemon games, Sylveon evolves based off your Affection and Friendship stats, which maps to the Pokemon Buddy Feature that Pokemon Go has.
First of all, the nickname trick continues to work with Sylveon. To get it first, take an Eevee and rename it to Kira then evolve it. The first time you do this, youll get a Sylveon.
