Whats New In Pokmon Go
November is a packed month for Pokémon GO fans, with developers Niantic unveiling a number of in-game events that will be taking place between now and the end of the month.
Supereffective Week runs from Tuesday 19 November 19 at 9pm PST to Tuesday 26 November at 1pm.
During it, Pokémon that might be strong partners in battle against Team GO Rocket and other Trainers will be appearing more often in the wild, in raids, and in Field Research.
If youre lucky, you might also encounter a Shiny Tentacool, and bonuses include 2× Stardust from Trainer Battles, more Potions and Revives from PokéStops and guaranteed Charged TM from three-star raids.
The first Pokémon GO Friend Fest also takes place between Wednesday 27 November at 9pm and Monday 2 December at 9pm.
During it, youll encounter family-themed Pokémon such as Nidoran, Nidoran, their Evolutions, and more in the wild and in research tasks.
Bonuses include 1/2 Stardust trade cost, the ability to make two special trades per day and an attack boost when you raid with friends.

Farfetchd becomes a pure Fighting-type in Sword and Shield, and evolves into Sirfetchd. To evolve it, Galarian Farfetchd must land three critical hits in a single battle.

Galarian Mr. Mime, which replaces its Gen 6 Fairy-typing with the Ice-type, has a much simpler evolution method. At Level 42, it evolves into Mr. Rime. Mr. Mimes Gen 4 baby pre-evolution, Mime Jr., does not have any sort of regional variant, although Galarian Mr. Mime can still hold an Odd Incense while in the Day Care to produce Mime Jr. eggs.

Before you can consider evolving a Galarian Slowpoke, you first need to catch one in Pokémon Go.
Galarian Slowpoke can now be found by hatching 7km egg alongside it’s fellow Galarian Pokémon. It is, however, on Tier 4 of this egg pool, so you may have to earn a good number of 7km egg to find one.

How To Find Galarian Slowpoke In Pokemon Go
Galarian Slowpoke will begin to appear in Pokemon Go starting on Tuesday, June 8th. Even when the event is over, players will have the chance to encounter it out in the wild. Here are all the ways players can increase their chances of finding one.
- In The Wild: Players may stumble across a Galarian Slowpoke just exploring the wild.
- Incense: This item will increase the spawn rate of all Pokemon nearby where you are. Galarian Slowpoke has the chance of making an appearance.
- Lure Module: This item will increase the spawn rate of all Pokemon in the area. Theres a chance that players can come across a Galarian Slowpoke.

HOW TO EVOLVE GALARIAN SLOWPOKE INTO SLOWBRO
Galarian Slowpoke can only evolve into Galarian Slowbro through a special item called the Galarica Cuff. This item acts like an evolution stone where youll need to use it on your Galarian Slowpoke to cause its evolution.
However, youll need to find Galarica Twigs in order to obtain this special item.
HOW TO GET ITEMS NEEDED TO EVOLVE SLOWPOKE INTO SLOWBRO
Trainers will need to find eight Galarica Twigs that are scattered throughout the Isle of Armor.
These twigs are presented as hidden items on the base of trees around the island. If you need a refresher, Hidden items are the glowing specs on the ground that can be picked up by standing next to it and pressing the A button.
On this island there is a non-playable character there who youll need to speak to. If you have a Galarian Slowpoke on your team when you speak to her, youll receive a customization item for your trainer.

Which Pokemon Should Slowpoke Evolve Into
When considering which of the Slowpoke evolutions are better, its important to consider which role they will likely play. Both evolutions have a 216 Stamina stat which, when paired with its 180 Defense, means that its a defensive tank.
Since this is the case, the Slowpoke evolutions will likely be used as a safe swap for a Great League team or part of a Gym Defense team.
As they have identical stats and typing, there is only one thing that Slowbro and Slowking dont share: moveset. They learn slightly different moves, which will decide which one is going to be preferred.
Of either moveset, Confusion or Psychic should be used. Confusion has a humongous DPS compared to other quick moves, and Psychic is both powerful and quick to charge. Slowking and Slowbro can be good Psychic-type attackers during raids because of this, but it will be outclassed by many other Psychic-types.
The big difference is the secondary charge moves: Slowking does not have great options here. Blizzard and Fire Blast will take forever to charge and neither adds great coverage. Both can indeed deal with Grass-type Pokemon, who are threats to Slowking, but by the time Blizzard or Fire Blast charges, the Grass-type will quickly have the KO lined up.
Slowbro also gets a Water STAB move in Water Pulse, something that is a gaping hole in Slowkings moveset. Of course, Water Pulse lacks in damage, but it will allow Slowbro to counter Fire-types, Rock-types and Ground-types.

Its not the best Pokémon, but its handy against Dark, Fairy, Grass, Ice, Normal, Rock, and Steel-type Pokémon. The best moveset to teach Galarian Slowbro is poison job for its fast move, and the charged moves focus blast and psychic.
Galarian Slowbro has several different types of attacks that make it beneficial against numerous Pokémon, boosting it up in the Great and Ultra Leagues. It also makes it a decent raid Pokémon for one or three-star raids.

In Pokemon Sword and Shield, the Galarian Slowbro, much like its normal Slowbro counterpart, is an evolution from a Galarian Slowpoke, but in order to do that, you must equip your Galarian Slowpoke with the Galarica Cuff.
In Pokemon GO, however, you do not need a Galarica Cuff to evolve your Galarian Slowbro to Galarian Slowpoke.
According to BleedingCool.com, you can now evolve your Galarian Slowpoke into a Galarian Slowbro by simply catching 30 Poison-type Pokemon while making it your buddy. Aside from that, you also need 50 Slowpoke Candy for the said evolution

The first question that you may have in your mind is which of the two Pokemon is better, Slowbro or Slowking? Although they share similar stats, there are a few differences between the two. Both have a very high special defense and low physical defense. The physical defense stat is not very high on either type, so you might want to choose the latter over the former. Then again, the difference between the two is very slight you could easily beat both using your own special attack or a physical one.
The main difference between the two is the movepool. While Slowbro has a wider variety of moves, Slowking has more range and is easier to obtain. In addition, Slowking is stronger overall. If youre looking for a Pokémon with a lot of potential for Mega Evolution, then you should go with Slowking. As youre playing the game in competitive mode, youll want to be able to play both Pokemon in order to get the highest possible rank.
Regardless of the type of Pokémon you choose, its important to compare their movepools.
