Pokemon GO – PINK VS YELLOW RAID EGG SHOWDOWN!

Tapping on the egg icon in the corner, while looking at the gym, will reveal how difficult it is. The amount of monster faces above the egg represents the level of the gym, as does the colour. Level one raids will always be pink, level three raids are yellow, while level five raids are purple with white stripes.

Follow Specific Guides For Specific Pokemon

Again, there are currently 15 Mega Raids possible in Pokemon GO. If trainers want specific Mega Energy, they will want to look at tips that help combat that specific Pokemon. A Mega Raid against Mega Beedrill is going to play out differently than the Mega Raid with Mega Abomasnow.

Pokemon Go: Yellow Egg Raid Bosses

Recently, Pokemon Go received a brand new exciting update that greatly affected the overall gameplay for Gyms. This update made revamps to Gym battles which you can read fully about in our guide right here. However, outside of normal Gym battles, the update added a brand new game mode feature known as Raid Battles.

Essentially, these are specialized battles that will show up periodically at your local Gyms. What makes these bits more unique than a normal Gym fight is that players can work together in order to take down a Raid Boss.

In fact, there is a total of twenty players allowed to fight within a Raid Battle both publicly or privately with friends and clans. However, before you can join a Raid Battle, you must have a Raid Pass or a Legendary Raid Pass to take part in the Legendary Raid Battles.

Each Raid Battle will have a Raid Egg attached and depending on the egg color resting on top of the Gym, players may be facing against a Legendary Pokemon. Normal Raid Eggs will appear pink, Rare Raid Eggs will show up yellow, and finally, Legendary Raid Eggs will appear in a dark spiral designed color.

Youll have to wait until the egg hatches before youll find out just what Raid Boss you will be facing against and seeing how it will be random, theres no telling just who will be leading the Gym Raid Battle. As such, we have listed the potential Raid Bosses that are featured in the three Raid Egg categories.

Note: After the addition of Mega Raids, Niantic has merged Tier 2 with Tier 1, and Tier 4 with Tier 3 raids.

What Is A Raid Battle

Pokemon Go Raid Battles are a new mechanic introduced on June 23. During a Raid Battle, Trainers from all teams can band together to take down a particularly difficult Boss Pokemon of 20,000 CP or more at a Gym.

Multiple groups consisting of up to 20 people cooperate to battle the Raid Boss. If successful within the time-limit, players will get a chance to capture the powerful Raid Boss and receive Items rewarded only by completing Raid Battles.

Why Does A Brown Egg Look Like An Orange Egg

Some brown eggs appear to be a shade of orange because of color intensity. Breed, age and stress levels affect the tone and the depth of color. For example, a young hen might lay darker eggs than a more mature hen. Some breeds lay light-colored eggs that might look pink or rosy, while others develop eggs as dark as chocolate. Five Star Raids In Pokmon Go

The Five Star tier is typically reserved for Legendary Pokémon and usually the most sought after of public Raids. They’re more difficult to beat than lower star ratings, but if you have enough players to do it, the rewards at this level are the best. As a reward for completing global challenges during Pokémon Go Fest 2021, the final Ultra Unlock event will feature Sword and Shield mascots, Zacian and Zamazenta in their Hero of Many Battles formes.

    How Do Remote Raids Work

Pokemon GO Raid Boss Egg List

You can do raids, even if youre not within their range if you use a Remote Raid Pass. As long as you can see the raid or access it from the raid menu, you can complete it with a Remote Raid Pass. You can also invite friends or be invited to raids, even if youre not even close to the area. Doing raids this way also requires a Remote Raid Pass.

Keep in mind that any players remotely battling in raids does less damage, so it may take more remote players to complete a raid than it normally would.

Remote Raid Passes are given out for free from events sometimes, but you can also buy them in the shop for 100 coins each.

How To Find A Mega Raid In Pokemon Go

As fancy as a Raid in Pokemon GO sounds, its usually not that big of a deal. Its just one potentially strong Pokemon taking over a gym and taking all-comers, kinda like a kid proclaiming himself king of the playground. Its when a teenager declares himself king of the playground that you need to start worrying. Tortured metaphors aside, today were on the hunt for Mega Raids.

    Making Or Accepting Invitations

Join a Raid Lobby and use the Invite Friends feature on the right side of the screen. Only 5 friends can be invited to a Raid. Players can only accept Raid invitations if the Raid Lobby isnt full. Invitations also expire once the Raid Battle has started.

Do Egg Colors Matter In Pokemon Go

An eggs color indicates what level of difficulty the Raid Boss is. Raid Bosses are classified using a star system, with one star being the least difficult and five stars being the most difficult. A pink egg indicates that the Raid Boss is one or two stars, and so its on the lower end of the difficulty spectrum.

How Do I Catch The Raid Boss Pokmon

Your teams contribution to the raid determines how many Premier Balls you get to try to catch the raid mon. You also get bonuses for having friends in the raid and for the gym being your teams color.

If you get 14 balls, you only have 14 tries to catch that Mewtwo, for example. Often times, players will see themselves walking out of a raid empty handed. Practice your excellent throws and curveballs youll be sporting a new catman mutant in no time.

Pokémon Go Raid Battles: How to find

How do I enter a Legendary Raid? You need a Premium or a Normal Raid Pass invitation, which is available at any Gym. The Legendary Raids are identical to Normal and Rare Raids, they just feature different Pokémon.

Are Legendary Pokémon capturable in Pokémon GO?Yes they are! Their base capture chance is 2% and 3% , which results in a rather difficult capture encounter, comparable to catching a fully evolved starter or Dragonite. In addition, the following badge is available:

    How To Raid Battle

Once you’ve found a Raid near you, you must physically go to the Gym, like you would do for a Gym Battle.

Tap on the Gym once the egg has hatched and use a Raid Pass to begin the process. You can choose your team of six Pokemon and then will be automatically joined with a group of 20 Pokemon Go players.

If you’d like, you can create a private group by creating and sharing a specific group code. You can also use this group code to determine who is on your team.

After the 100 second countdown, the Raid Battle will begin with how many people have joined the group. The set-up is almost exactly the same as a Gym Battle, except instead of battling multiple Pokemon, you only battle the Raid Boss. You will see the Boss’s health reduce as you and your teammates attack it.

If all of your Pokemon are knocked-out, you can heal them and try again until the time limit is reached – this will not consume more Raid Passes.

If your team reduces the Boss’s HP entirely before the limit is up, you will have defeated the Raid Boss!

Once you have completed a Raid Battle, you can no longer interact with it. In other words, you can’t repeatedly defeat a Raid Battle.

    How To Find A Raid

Raid Battles only occur at Gyms, and if one is about to start nearby, you will receive an in-game notification.

You can also manually check for a Raid by using the Nearby feature. The number below the Raid egg image is the military time it will begin.

The symbols below mark the difficulty rating of the Raid Battle, up to five.

If a Gym is topped with an egg instead of a Pokemon, a Raid is about to begin. The timer above the egg denotes how long until the Raid Battle will begin.

If a Raid is already in process, you can see the silhouette of the Raid Boss, and you can tap the Gym to see how much time is left.Raids will usually be active for 45 minutes, giving Pokemon Go players plenty of time to seek out and try to defeat the Boss. You can see how much time is left above an ongoing Raid.

How To Do A Pokemon Go Raid

Pokemon Go raids are found exclusively at gyms, which are the much taller Pokestops you’ll see in towns and cities. No matter which team has control of a gym, anyone can partake in a raid when it appears, indicated by a coloured egg on top. This will be accompanied by a timer, counting down from one hour, so Pokemon Go communities have enough preparation time to get players together to take it down.

Tapping on the egg icon in the corner, while looking at the gym, will reveal how difficult it is. The amount of monster faces above the egg represents the level of the gym, as does the colour. Level one raids will always be pink, level three raids are yellow, while level five raids are purple with white stripes.

To do the Pokemon Go raid, you simply have to be at the respective gym within the 45 minutes after the egg hatches. As long as you have a Raid Pass – which is given out for free once per day at your first Gym PokeStop spin of the day – you can have a shot at taking down the raid boss. If you want to do more than one raid per day, you can pick up Premium Raid Passes from the in-game store for 100 coins apiece.
