New Pokemons And Event Exchange // Event News // Pokemon Sun And Moon // Mons Awaken

If you really want to get deep into your Pokemon stats stuff, you need to start keeping a track of Effort Values and Individual Values – EVs and IVs. There are two NPCs who exist solely to track these two things – exciting lives they have.

The EV tracker can be found inside the Battle Royale Dome on the right – it’s a girl in a pink top. You can actually track EVs yourself in the menus now, remember – it’s far easier to do that.

The IV tracker is required to track those stats without a lot of number crunching, and he can be found in the Battle Tree, standing next to a PC. This is a post-game area. He won’t provide his services to you until you’ve hatched 20 Pokemon from eggs, however – and then he upgrades your PC.

Meet The Latest New Pokmon For Sun And Moon

Yes – there are still Pokémon games other than Pokémon Go. Ahead of the November release of Pokémon Sun and Moon, six new beasts have been revealed as joining the roster.

We’ve already met some of the new Pokémon set to appear in the upcoming Nintendo 3DS titles, with the reveal of the new starters Litten, Popplio, and Rowlet, to Legendary Pokémon Solgaleo and Lunala. There was even a trio of regular Pokémon shown at E3 – but the latest batch are some of the strangest yet.

The new additions includes Bewear, a pink-and-black bear who looks uncomfortably close to a questionable meme character Wimpod, a purple isopod that scavenges the ocean depths and Mimikyu, a ghost/fairy that wears a crude Pikachu cosplay and never reveals its face. Check out their full details below:

Name: WimpodType: Bug/WaterWimpod is the Turn Tail Pokémon. This Pokémon is a cowardly scavenger which eats or stores anything that’s been dropped in the sea, so it’s highly valued across the Alola region as a cleaner of the sea. Wimpod has the new Ability Wimp Out, which causes this Pokémon to run away or swap out for another Pokémon when its HP drops below half in battle.

Name: BounsweetType: GrassFruit Pokémon Bounsweet gives off a delicious aroma. This aroma has a calming effect on humans, so many people across Alola let them live inside their homes as an air freshener.

Pokmon Go Gen 7 Pokmon List

The majority of the Gen 7 evolutions in Pokémon Go will, unsurprisingly, require you to collect a specific amount of candy. There are, however, a couple of Pokémon which may have special requirements tied to their evolutions.

One of these Pokémon is Crabrawler, who, in the main series, will only evolve into Crabominable on Mount Lanakila. It will be interesting to see whether this location based evolution translates into a special requirement in Pokémon Go or if you’ll simply have to collect enough Crabrawler candy.

Another special Gen 7 evolution is Salandit which only evolves into Salazzle if it is female.

Most notably, however, Rockruff can evolve into one of three different versions of Lycanroc – Midday, Dusk and Midnight – depending on whether you’ve met a certain requirement in the main series. Currently, the Midday and Midnight forms are available in Pokémon Go and which one you receive depends on what time of day you evolve Rockruff during.

Lycanroc is not the only Gen 7 Pokémon with multiple forms though. Oricorio is a flying-type Pokémon whose appearance and typing changed depending on which Alola island you caught it on. We’ll have to wait and see how this Pokémon, and its various forms, are disturbed in Pokémon Go, but we definitely want to catch them all!

Ultra Sun And Moon Protagonists Names Revealed

In every Pokemon Game, players get to name their Trainer at the start. Starting from the very first versions this is evident. Case in point include Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow and the Japanese exclusive Green versions. For those versions, players refer to the protagonist as Red. This continued with other games following the protagonists names to the version represented. Pokemon Crystal is the turning point, with the introduction of the female character obtaining a more popular moniker than the standard version name. Instead of Crystal, fans refer to her as Kris. Following the formula, it seems that Trainers get to see the Ultra Sun and Moon Protagonists Names Revealed early thanks to the early reveal of the Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon Trailer.

Source: Pokemon

According to the Official Pokemon Youtube Channel, the trailer shows a glimpse of the possible names for the main protagonists. One example is through the reveal of the event exclusive Rockruff. Upon inspection, it is likely that Ray is the male trainer, and Ailey is the female counterpart. This makes sense because Ray which is the OT for the Rockruff on the Sun Version takes elements from previous games. Ray in this case may allude to the Suns Rays. Similar to the debut of the Female protagonist in Leaf Green, despite lacking an appearance in the animes Advance generation, the community decided to stick with Leaf.
