Pokmon Go Gen 6 Pokmon List
We can, however, expect to see a Gen 6 version of the Unova and Sinnoh Stone as, like Gen 4 and 5, this generation has a number of Pokémon that will only evolve if they are traded while holding a specific item.
A number of Pokémon may also be affected by the trading mechanic, which will make them easier to evolve once theyve been traded with another player.
Here is the complete list of Gen 6 Pokémon:
Leyendas De Pokmon: Arceus
Pokmon Red And Green Japan
This version of the game was the very first installment of the series and its still a favorite for many expert gamers. This certainly is another reason to include it on top of our list.
The goal of this game is to become the champion of the league and to capture all Pokémon for the completion of the Pokédex.
Developer: Game Freak
The player explores the environment looking for wild Pokémon and finding the gems.
Why players should play this game
Some great features of this game include:
- The player can choose from 3 starter Pokémon Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and Charmander.
- After completing the Pokédex, the player gets an actual Diploma.

Doesn’t Need A Remake: Red/blue/yellow
As much as the original series is a beloved one, it has been remade enough with Fire Red, Leaf Green, and the Let’s Go pair alone. This isn’t accounting for every spinoff and other nods throughout the past twenty five years.
The least it could do is hold off on another remake until a newer generation of consoles appear. It would be a safe way to try out new systems or to experiment with new methods, but it doesn’t need it any time soon.
Pok Stop: Pokmon Caf Remix
This relaxing puzzle game has the cutest Pokémon art style I’ve ever seen and will keep you entertained for hours. It’s up to you to meet and bring more Pokémon staff to your cafe. The more successful your cafe becomes, the more upgrades you’ll be able to add. It’s free to start, but there are in-game microtransactions as well.

Storage Center: Pokmon Home
Pokémon HOME is necessary for any serious Pokémon trainer who wants to keep the collection of Pokémon they’ve caught over the years. The base service is free but allows players to store up to only 30 Pokémon and limits how many trades they can do. However, if players pay for the Premium subscription, they’ll be able to deposit as many as 6,000 Pokémon and can trade more freely with others online.
Pokmon Diamante Brillante Y Perla Reluciente

Needs A Remake: Pokmon Ranger
If there is one game that desperately needs a remake, it is Pokémon Ranger. The game introduced a new system to temporarily catch Pokémon to utilize for the next stage. Everything was very puzzle oriented and required a lot of strategy.
With a little updating, the Ranger series would make a fantastic addition to modern gaming. Utilizing Nintendo Switch’s controls in order to capture the Pokémon would not be too much of a stretch either.
Sword Dlc: Pokmon Sword Expansion Pass
With this pass, Pokémon Sword owners can explore two new locations within the Galar region: the Crown Tundra and the Armor Isle. The Crown Tundra is filled with legendary Pokémon from previous games, while the Armor Isle provides a new storyline and a new Pokémon for players to evolve. You do need the base game to play this DLC.

A Remake Will Probably Come First
Along with there being three years in-between releases, another pattern that fans have noticed is that The Pokemon Company tends to release remakes of older games before releases of new generations. Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen released before generation four, Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver released before generation five, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire before generation seven, and then Pokemon Lets Go! Pikachu and Eevee before generation eight.
This pattern leads to the belief that the most likely Pokemon release that fans should expect in 2021 is not Gen 9, but probably a remake of Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl. A generation four remake has been long-rumored and requested by many fans, and the generation is actually celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, which makes it all the more likely. Many fans might prefer a new generation to the remakes, but it just doesnt seem like quite the right time yet.
Pokemon Z Could Still Happen
Pokemon X and Y are outliers for their lack of a third version in any form. Games like Pokemon Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, and Platinum iterated upon the formulas of their base versions to offer improvements. Meanwhile, Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 were direct sequls to their DS predecessors, and Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon were more like alternate reality takes on the same source material. The latest titles Sword and Shield also have not gotten a third version or sequel, but they did receive the series’ first DLC expansions.
Yet, leaks suggest there were plans to develop more Kalos games, perhaps “Pokemon Z” version. Instead, Zygarde’s unique 10 percent and 100 percent forms were introduced in Sun and Moon, asking players to collect Zygarde cells across Alola on behalf of Kalos Professor Sycamore’s aides Dexio and Sina. That doesn’t mean they won’t appear down the line, and in fact it would be odd for Game Freak and The Pokemon Company to let this outlier stick.
There were rumors for some time that Pokemon Sword and Shield would get Kalos region DLC, and this isn’t farfetched given the DLC added new areas called The Isle of Armor and Crown Tundra. Kalos is based on France and Galar on the United Kingdom, so theoretically Game Freak could connect the two using real-world proximity. That may even still be a feasible route to give Kalos new content if other European countries such as Germany get turned into regions.

Reasons Why Pokmon Z Was Never Released
The first reason Pokémon Z was never released was simply down to sales. Although X and Y sold well, usually, a whole new generation of games sells better than a third installment. When you look at sales across all main series games, not a single third installment of a generation comes in the top 10 sales of Pokémon games. Due to this reason, Z was never released and thus was skipped due to potential poor sales.
Interestingly as GamesSkinny.com points out, Gamefreak could have bottled the games due to the Paris terrorist attacks, which occurred around a similar release window for a third installment. Z would have been in France, much like its predecessors. Thus, perhaps the games were never released due to the ongoing crises within the nation.
3.Limited Resources and Time
Thirdly, Z was probably never released due to a lack of resources and, most importantly, time. Around one year after the company released X and Y, Omega Ruby and Sapphire were released, the long-requested remakes of the original ruby and sapphire.
The release of a whole generation alongside full 3D remakes likely gave the Pokémon Company very little time to develop a third game in generation six.
As with any popular game, remakes get requested by fans, and the company must have felt intense pressure to release a Ruby and Sapphire remake considering its popularity.
Needs A Remake: Pokmon Colosseum
Shadow Pokémon have been an icon for ages, and a highly requested feature of most modern games since the debut of Pokémon Colosseum. Even Pokémon Go has made a nod to the phenomenon, giving many fans hope that some form of Colosseum is in the works.
It had a unique system and allowed for purification of the Shadow Pokémon which could easily be transferred to a new game. Even if they were locked to the game and unable to move to Home except for events, it would make a lot of old time fans very happy.

You Cant Customize Your Trainer
It was said that the player-controlled male and female trainers were to be called Jean and Jane. What got everyone upset wasnt their names, but the fact that Mr. XY claimed their appearances werent going to be customizable like the original trailer implied. And honestly, Im glad this one turned out to be false. Who doesnt love personalizing their trainers clothes and hairdo?

Elite Four And Champion
Just as in Unova, the Elite Four can be battled in any order. After battling all four, a path to the Champion is unlocked. The Elite Four members are Malva ” rel=”nofollow”> Fire), Siebold ” rel=”nofollow”> Water), Wikstrom ” rel=”nofollow”> Steel), and Drasna ” rel=”nofollow”> Dragon). After beating all four Elite Four members, the player will face the Champion, Diantha, who uses a variety of types along with a Gardevoir which can Mega Evolve.
Needs A Remake: Hey You Pikachu
Hey You Pikachu! was a game far above its time. It tried so hard to make an interactive game in a time where the technology just wasn’t there. Nowadays, the technology is absolutely everywhere.
Having a game much like the Pokémon Amie minigame found in Pokémon X and Y where the player can intricately interact with a variety of Pokémon would definitely be a hit, especially among younger players.

The Mega Timeline Continues A Few Years After X And Y
Games: Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, Ultra Moon
We continue forward on the Mega Timeline to Pokemon Sun and Moon, plus their Ultra versions. How do we know a few years have passed? Unfortunately, Matsumiyas tweet stops at X and Y, but luckily, a couple of characters from former games appear in Sun and Moon, helping give us an idea of where these games fit into the series.
Most notably, Sina and Dexio two assistants to X and Ys Professor Sycamore appear in the game. Theyre on the search for the Legendary Zygarde, and, after you battle them, Dexio comments: This battle reminded me of us in the past and that group of five young trainers. The five young trailers hes referring to are seemingly the five main adventure friends in X and Y.
Sun and Moon also feature the Battle Tree, where trainers Red and Blue make a cameo appearance. Yes, the main characters from the original games return, and their new avatars are aged up fairly significantly. They should have according to this guesstimated timeline aged around 17 years since the events of Red/Blue/Green/Yellow, which seems reasonable.
There are also various other trainers from the other games that appear at the Battle Tree, including: the second boss of Team Phasma, Colress Pokemon Champion Cynthia, who appeared in Diamond and Pearl, as well as Black and White 2 and Grimsley, a member of the Unova Elite Four .

Connectivity To Other Devices
Along with the many additions that X and Y introduced, various improvements to the communication features were also implemented. Using the Player Search System , players can encounter and keep track of various online players, including strangers, allowing them to easily initiate battles or trades. The Holo Caster allows the player to receive messages and updates from NPCs via StreetPass and SpotPass. Wonder Trade is a new trading feature which allows players to trade one of their Pokémon in exchange for a random one from another player. Other features include O-Powers, temporary powers that can increase stats and can be exchanged with other players, and improvements to the Global Trade System, allowing players to request Pokémon they have not encountered. At certain points in the game, players will be able to take in-game screenshots, which they can then share on the Pokémon Global Link website.

Pokmon X & Y Struggled With Transitioning To 3d
Pokémon X and Y’s graphics do not hold up today the same way that Pokémon Black and White does. Because it was the first Pokémon game to fully jump into the 3D Polygonal style, the game struggled to mash that together with the world’s linear design. In various parts throughout the game, players are faced with uncomfortable camera angles. This particularly becomes a problem when exploring Lumiose City which has several alleyways and is broken up into multiple sections. In 2022, the Unova region still looks great with its perfect balance of the series classic art style and its 3D-like environments.
Compared to Unova, the Kalos region is really ambitious and has a map so sprawling that players will do a fair bit of traveling before even reaching the second Gym in Cyllage City. With 2022’s Pokémon Legends: Arceus and Scarlet and Violet‘s push to make the Pokémon franchise more open-world, Pokémon X and Y’s Kalos region would be the perfect location to expand. Generation 5’s Mega Evolution mechanic would also be incredible in the Pokémon Legends: Arceus’ battle system and seems like a natural fit with Hisui’s Strong and Agile fighting system.
Doesn’t Need A Remake: Gold/silver/crystal
Heart Gold and Soul Silver were the ideal remakes of classic games. While they are condemned to an older system, they still have a massive fanbase. While they may be able to make some minor visual updates, it would be difficult to improve the masterpiece that was the remakes they already had.
The concept could make for an interesting future game, one where the player can explore multiple regions. However, it doesn’t need to be yet another Gold and Silver remake.

Pokmon Lets Go Pikachu/lets Go Eevee
The original Pokémon games were arguably due for another remake , but the Lets Go games never quite match the spirit of the originals. Yeah, they look a lot better, and the addition of mega-evolutions are nice, but whether youre using the Joy-Cons or PokeBall Plus, the motion controls just feel gimmicky. Plus, the games difficulty is on the ridiculously easy side despite the original games not even being that difficult to begin with.

Pokmon X/y Y La Terrorfica Historia De La Chica Del Ascensor
