To start, youre going to need a copy of Pokemon Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire, X, or Y. Youll also need to be able to connect your 3DS to the internet through WiFi. Once you start up the game, youll notice the main menu has four options: Continue, Mystery Gift, Live Competition, and Pokemon Link. Select the Mystery Gift option.

Victini made its Pokémon Go debut back in July during Pokémon Go Fest, and now three months later those who didn’t purchase the ticket to attend the virtual event can get their hands on this rare and powerful Pokémon.

Defeating Team Plasma At Liberty Garden Island

Team Plasma has taken over Liberty Garden Island, hoping to capture Victini. Apparently, Victini has limitless power in its body and can share that power with whomever ittouches. It is also said that Victini can ensure victory for any trainer who possesses it. For this reason, Team Plasma is very interested in it.

Outside of the tower, there are three Team Plasma Grunts that you must defeat. Their pokémon are Level 17/18 Patrats and Sandiles.

Before heading into the tower, be sure to check the trash can next to the vending machine, because it contains an Ultra Ball.

Inside, you will find a security guard who will heal you up for free.

There is also a Team Plasma grunt that you have to fight here. This grunt has a Patrat and a Scraggy.

Finally, you will reach the inside room, where Victini has been living for a long time. The story goes that a richperson bought Liberty Garden Island a long time ago and kept Victini in the basement to protect it from greedy trainerswho wanted its power.

There is a Team Plasma grunt here who has a Level 20 Watchog.

Finally, when you have defeated this last grunt, you can go up and talk to Victini to start the battle.
