List of Pokémon by generation

The first generation of the Pokémon franchise features the original 151 fictional species of creatures introduced to the core video game series in the 1996 Game Boy games Pokémon Red and Blue.

The following list details the 151 Pokémon of Generation I in order of their National Pokédex number. The first Pokémon, Bulbasaur, is number 001 and the last, Mew, is number 151. Alternate forms that result in type changes are included for convenience. Mega evolutions and regional forms are included on the pages for the generation in which they were introduced. MissingNo. is also on this list.

Totem Pokmon And Template Trouble

Totem Pokémon and the totem-sized Pokémon available in USUM have different weights from their normal-sized counterparts, so they ought to be listed separately here like any other form that affects weight. The only problem, then, is that the } template rather inelegantly pulls the form names from a lookup table according to the menu sprite used, rather than allowing the form names to be defined in their own parameter like the display names . You can already see the effects of this with Pumpkaboo and Gourgeistsince the different sizes don’t have different menu sprites, the article has

Average Size Pumpkaboo

rather than the more reasonable

PumpkabooAverage Size

And I feel like “Totem-sized Alolan Marowak” would be really clumsy-looking in bold text. The best solution would be to add another parameter to } to provide form names, and do away with the menu-sprite lookup table. I’d probably be figuring out how to this myself if the templates weren’t both protected. Randomwaffle23 20:43, 15 September 2018

Dust Created By Heavy Pokemon

I hadn’t noticed this until Generation V, but it seems Pokemon create screen shakes and/or dust clouds billow based on their weight. Anyone know the cutoffs for say :

  • No shake?

Some examples:

  • Galvantula and Lilligant both shake the screen slightly.
  • Archeops does not shake the screen.
  • Krookodile shakes the screen heavily but does not produce dust.
  • Emboar and Scolipede both shake the screen and produce dust.

I assume they threw this in so that people using Low Kick/Grass Knot could tell immediately a general idea of the power of the move on the current Pokemon, so if anyone knows this information, that’d be awesome.Crassus 02:43, 13 March 2011

I noticed that one as well… but Giratina, who has two forms, does different:

  • Altered Forme does shake the screen and produces dust,
  • Origin Forme, though lighter than the other forme, does not touch the ground, ergo there’s no shake. Palkia38 12:06, 8 June 2011

I noticed the cutoff for the Heavy Shake is at about 330 lbs or 150 kg. Bastiodon did not cause the dust to form but Emboar did. Swampert ManSwampertis Awesome! 16:40, 21 June 2011

I know this is a relatively old discussion, but it is interesting and I think it is of value and that some research could go into this. —Wowy 03:29, 4 February 2012

List Of Pokmon By National Pokdex Number

What I see when there
Natdex

This is a list of Pokémon in the order dictated by the National Pokédex, meaning that Pokémon from the Kanto region will appear first, followed by those from Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, and Galar. Each region’s set of Pokémon starts with its own set of starter Pokémon and their evolutions, going in order of Grass, Fire, Water the only exception is Unova, which begins with Victini, who is then followed by the starter Pokémon.

The first 151 entries in this Pokédex also serve as Kanto’sregional Pokédex. In Generation II, this Pokédex order was known as the “Old Pokédex”, with a new order that put related Pokémon near each other also included.

Unless there’s a way to actually set these three apart, I’d say yeah, we can merge them. —Flashlight237 17:14, 12 October 2020

Those sections were distinguished due to the “Compare” section of the Pokémon X and Y Pokédex. However, it’s probably not necessary to split the sections on this page on that basis, when that distinction is incredibly trivial and not even noted on this page. —SnorlaxMonster 17:21, 2 January 2021

Notícias a big fan of Pokémon GO, but Thais is só nice ...

This is a list of Pokémon by their height and weight.

A Pokémon’s height is generally measured from the ground up, although serpentine Pokémon are measured according to their length instead. A Pokémon’s weight is often strangely low for its size, which is either a result of different physical laws in the Pokémon world or a disregard of realism by the people who created the games.

    Altered Forme Giratina 16535 Lbs

Comparison: All 529 Pokemon Weight from Game Pokemon White

Giratina, the box legendary of Pokemon Platinum, comes in two flavors. The special flavor is Origin Forme, where Giratina loses its legs and over 200 lbs . The Altered Forme, found in both Platinum and the original Diamond and Pearl, clocks in just enough to squeeze its way onto the list.

Interestingly, although Altered Forme Giratina weighs more, Origin Forme is taller in height. Additionally, for anyone that has seen some of the leaked beta designs of Gen 4 Pokemon, Giratina certainly looks… different. It’s hard to tell if it would’ve shared the same weight if they had stuck with its original design.
