Connectivity To Other Devices
In addition to compatibility with each other, Diamond and Pearl offer compatibility with the third generation Pokémon games, Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed and LeafGreen, Pokémon Ranger, and Pokémon Battle Revolution. After earning the National Pokédex in Diamond and Pearl, the player can “Migrate” Pokémon from the Game Boy Advance games to Diamond and Pearl by inserting a Game Boy Advance cartridge into the Game Boy Advance cartridge slot of the Nintendo DS while Diamond or Pearl is in the DS slot. After six Pokémon are uploaded from the cartridge, they are sent to the Pal Park, an area where the player can capture the transferred Pokémon. Pokémon uploads are restricted to six every twenty-four hours per Game Boy Advance cartridge, and the player must capture the uploaded Pokémon before performing another transfer. Pokémon transferred to Diamond and Pearl this way cannot be sent back to a Game Boy Advance cartridge. After completing a special mission in Pokémon Ranger, the player will be able to send a Manaphy egg or Riolu from Ranger to Diamond or Pearl. Finally, players can wirelessly upload Pokémon from Diamond and Pearl to the Wii games Pokémon Battle Revolution and My Pokémon Ranch.
The Best Infernape Team
|Poison / Dark||Cross Poison , X Scissor , Night Slash , Ice Fang|
If you want an easier time during the story, no starter Pokemon is better than Chimchar. Few Pokemon can resist both the Fire and Fighting-type moves until the end of the story. Outside of Houndoom, no Fire-type option is better than Infernape. It’s balanced in both its Attack and Sp. Atk on top of its excellent base Speed.
You’re not going to run into any issues with Infernape in your team, at least until you reach the Elite Four. But the rest of the team below will make the run for the Sinnoh Hall of Fame a lot more manageable.

Rematch The Gym Leaders And The Elite 4
After obtaining the National Pokedex, Roark will visit you outside of the Pokemon Research Lab, inviting you to challenge each Gym Leader once more to defend your title as the Champion of the Sinnoh Region.
This time around, however, the Gym Leaders are much tougher than they were when you first battle them. All of them have six Pokemon, each no lower than level 60. Make sure you got your team ready for these rematches they’re all essentially Elite Four-level trainers.
You can rematch the Elite Four and Cynthia for a second-round as welltheir Pokemon will be much more challenging too. You can rematch the entire Pokemon League for one final time after defeating all of them during the first rematch.
The Missing Diamond And Pearl Pokemon
As mentioned beforehand, Pokemon Legends: Arceus successfully brought back every Gen 4 Pokemon, but it did not bring every Diamond and Pearl Pokemon. Despite the game taking place in the Sinnoh region, albeit a much older version of it, there are some Pokemon that unfortunately did not make the cut. These Pokemon all have a few things in common. For one, they were all introduced in one of the first three generations. Additionally, none of the Pokemon listed below have a particular attachment to Sinnoh as a region. This is because they were not among the older Pokemon to get one of many new evolved and pre-evolved forms introduced during the fourth generation. Because of that, their absence is not as noticeable.
Goldeen and Seaking are the only Pokemon introduced in the first generation that were part of the Diamond and Pearl Pokedex that did not make the cut. This is a rather surprising decision, because Legends: Arceus brought back other Water type lines from the Kanto region, such as Magikarp and Gyarados, as well as Psyduck and Golduck. Goldeen and Seaking, unlike some Gen 1 Pokemon like Tangela, Lickitung, and Rhydon, were not lucky enough to get a new evolved or pre-evolved form in Gen 4, which likely contributed to their exclusion from Legends: Arceus.

Capture The Lake Guardians
Remember the trio of Legendary Pokemon Team Galactic captured to create the Red Chain? Now that you’ve freed them, they’ve returned to their corresponding lake and are available for capture – though you technically could have done this before taking on the Elite Four.
You can find Uxie in the Acuity Cavern of Lake Acuity, Azelf in Valor Cavern of Lake Valor, and Mesprit in Verity Cavern of Lake Verity. The latter, however, will flee and roam the region when encountered.
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond And Shining Pearl Offer Free Mythical Shaymin
You can claim the free mythical Pokemon by receiving a Mystery Gift in the Diamond and Pearl remakes.
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl players can get a free mythical Pokemon as part of the Pokemon Day celebrations. As announced on the Pokemon Presents stream, you claim a Mystery Gift to get a free Shaymin.
To claim your Shaymin, just start up Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl and choose “Get Via Internet” from the Mystery Gift menu. That will grant you an item called Oak’s Letter, which will let you go speak to Professor Oak on Route 224. Assist Professor Oak and the mythical Pokemon Shaymin will appear. Once you’ve added it to your team, you can use a Gracidea item to change it into its Sky Forme.
The big reveal of the presentation, though, was the announcement of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the new Gen 9 games. Those take place in a new so-far unnamed region, with an open structure that does not have barriers between towns and wilderness. The announcement claims you’ll be able to see Pokemon roaming and flying around everywhere, including in towns. We also got a first glimpse at the three starters.

Connectivity To Other Games
Diamond and Pearl boast compatibility with many other Pokémon games. They can connect with the Game Boy Advance Pokémon RPGs after earning the National Pokédex, when the Pokémon Game Boy Advance cartridge is inserted into the Game Boy Advance cartridge and accessory slot of the Nintendo DS while Diamond or Pearl is in the DS slot. After uploading six Pokémon from the cartridge, the Pokémon are sent into the Pal Park located southeast of Sandgem Town. Pokémon uploads are restricted to six every twenty-four hours per GBA cartridge. The player will have to re-capture such transferred Pokémon in Pal Park by means of a special Park Ball that has 100% chance of capture, before performing another transfer. Pokémon cannot be transferred from GBA cartridges to DS cards of different languages, Pokémon that know HM moves cannot be transferred, and the player cannot transfer any Pokémon back to the GBA cartridge once they are transferred to Diamond or Pearl.
Certain species of Pokémon traded internationally will have a Pokédex entry in the language of the game it originated from. This is enabled through a new function which is added to the player’s Pokédex, allowing the player to switch between multiple languages in those same Pokémon’s entries, including Japanese, English, French, German, Spanish and Italian.
Challenge The Battle Tower
After defeating the Elite Four, Barry will call you to meet with him at the Fight Zone. You can do this immediately, but you won’t be able to do anything there except the Battle Tower without the National Pokedex first.
The Fight Zone is an area north of the Pokemon League accessible by taking a boat in Snowpoint City. Talk to the sailor on the southernmost section of the city, and he’ll take you to the Fight Areathe home of the Battle Park and the Battle Tower.
The Battle Tower is also a great place to hone your skills. Defeating 100 trainers in a row in the Single Battle category will increase your Trainer Card level.

The Best Torterra Team
|Fighting / Steel||Nasty Plot , Aura Sphere , Flash Cannon , Dragon Pulse|
A highly physical Pokemon, Torterra is equipped with high Attack and Defense. Though boasting the slowest base Speed out of the Starter trio, Torterra is great at prolonging fights with its abilities and high defensive attributes. But be careful against Ice-types Pokemon since Torterra has a 4x damage weakness.
With utility moves like Leech Seed and Curse, Torterra can essentially defeat its opponents while barely taking any damage. The latter ability will sacrifice Torterra’s already slow speed to boost both Attack and Defense, and the former will damage Torterra’s opponent while healing itself.
Catch Heatran At Stark Mountain
Stark Mountain is in the northeast of the Battle Zone – head inside to team up with Buck while exploring.
Assisting him will allow Buck to take the Magma Stone, but you can talk to him once more in the Survival Area, and he’ll return the Magma Stone to its original location.
Once you’ve done these steps, return once more to the innermost chamber of Stark Mountain to capture Heatran. Don’t forget to save beforehand!

Complete The National Pokedex
Completing the National Pokedex should come as no surprise, but catching all 493 Pokemon is the endgame in Pokemon BDSP. Though Shaymin, Darkrai, and Arceus are currently unavailable , the rest of the 490 is obtainable through legitimate ways in the game. See the Brilliant Diamond Shining Pearl Pokedex to learn how to catch all 490 Pokemon in Pokemon BDSP.
