With every generation of Pokemon games there has always been two released at the beginning which each have their own distinct selection of exclusive Pokemon.

From Ekans and Arbok only being available in Pokemon Red in Generation I to Houndour and Houndoom being available in Gen IV on Pokemon Pearl only, the Pokemon games have always made sure to have some differentiation between the games.

With Pokemon X & Y hitting the shelves on Oct. 12th, there are still those who are unsure of which Pokemon are available in X but not in Y, and vice-versa. So, while Pokémon X and Y technically has every single Pokémon since the series inception, it only has a handful of Mega Evolutions. However, since the mechanic has now been introduced, its safe to assume subsequent installments in the franchise will build upon the new evolution mechanic. It would probably be best to evolve em all this time around, so you can fill out your Pokédex now and not have to worry about it in later installments.

Pokemon X And Y Trailer Reveals Some Version Exclusives

Pokemon X and Ys latest trailer also reveals the new evil organization in the upcoming RPG: Team Flare.

The latest Pokemon X and Y trailer from the Pokemon company summarizes a bunch of new information weve had trickled to us over the week new Pokemon , the new evil organization and the new professor. First up, the previously revealed Clauncher is exclusive to Pokemon X while its counterpart Skrelp is exclusive to Pokemon Y. New reveals Swirlix, the while cotton candy-like Pokemon is a Pokemon X exclusive, while Spritzee, the pink bird-beaked Pokemon will only appear in Pokemon Y. Both of these new Pokemon are of the new Fairy type.

Other new Pokemon revealed this week were Pangoro, the evolution of Pancham, a Panda-like fighting/dark Pokemon that would make Jack Black proud, as well as Inkay and its evolution Malamar, which are squid-like dark/psychic Pokemon. The new evil organization will be called Team Flare, and the new professor is the rather suave looking Professor Sycamore.

Also revealed was the games StreetPass and SpotPass feature: the Holo Caster. You can get reports about the people you have passed by using StreetPass on your Holo Caster, and you can also receive SpotPass news bulletins about Pokemon X and Y, such as information on upcoming competitions.

Lastly, the game will feature Photo Spots, which will allow players to take screenshots in some specific locations with the ingame camera and upload them to their Pokemon Global Link webpage.

Pokemon X And Pokemon Y Version Exclusives

Now that both Pokemon X and Pokemon Y are available in stores, its time to decide which version to buy.

Just like in every other Pokemon game released on the handheld, each of the available versions have their own exclusive Pokemon that one person can get. Since there are tons of Pokemon to catch in Kalos region, Pokemon trainers looking forward to complete that PokeDex for Professor Sycamour will most likely have to trade with someone who has the other version.

Yveltal, prounounced ee-VELL-tawl is a Dark/Flying type. Despite the two Pokemon looking quite different theyre about the same weight, thats even with Yveltal being twice as tall.

Pokemon X Y Exclusives

The Pokemon Y variants, for their part, retain their original typing, but gain unique abilities and stat increases of their own. Mega Mewtwo X, meanwhile, gains a unique Psychic/Fighting typing. In Pokemon X, Charizard becomes a Dragon/Fire Pokemon with the ability Tough Claws, which raises its attack whenever it makes physical contact with a foe. Each version has an exclusive Mega Evolution for Charizard and Mewtwo-two staples of the original Red and Blue. Pokemon X and Y do have one last trick up their sleeves. With that, Pokemon X and Y mostly boils down to whether your prefer a story featuring Xerneas or Yveltal. Since then, Pokemon games have had exclusive monsters and even exclusive gym leaders, but nothing really as far-reaching as Ruby and Sapphire.

Like most legendaries though, both Pokemon are more than capable of doing serious damage against high level trainers in the storyline. Both potentially have interesting applications in a legendary tier with an inordinate number of Psychic and Dragon-types, but being a Flying-type may hurt Yveltal more than help it, since it takes 25 percent damage from Stealth Rock upon switching in while being vulnerable to Kyogre’s Ice Beam attack. X has Xerneas , Y has Yveltal s a matter of personal taste, Xerneas’ stag-like appearance is more in line with classical Pokemon, while Yveltal has more of the over-designed look associated with later generations.

As is with its predecessors this was primarily accomplished through the Pokemon that are available in each game. This is a trend that has been seen in every generation of Pokemon and continues even into Gen 8 and its Isle of Armor and Crown Tundra expansions.

In Pokemon X and Y version exclusive Pokemon are found in a couple of different ways: Pokemon that can only be obtained in a specified version of the game or Fossil Pokemon available in a specified version. There were a few Pokemon that were version exclusive during the main story but were also obtainable in the Friend Safari regardless of which game the player had.

There aren’t that many Mega Evolutions in Pokémon X and Y, but there are probably more than you think, making it even more difficult to catch em all.

In order for a Pokémon to undergo a Mega Evolution, it needs to be holding a Mega Stone appropriate to its type, and the trainer needs to be wearing the Mega Ring. If both conditions are met and the Pokémon is able to mega evolve, then you can select the option from within a battle to trigger the Mega Evolution.

Only one Pokémon can mega evolve during a battle, but that isnt too bad of a limit considering the games random encounters run rampant, and triggering a Link Battle is easy enough. Each available Mega Evolution is listed below along with its corresponding Mega Stone location.

Pokemon X And Y New Features And Minigames

Pokemon X and Pokemon Y also took advantage of the 3DSs hardware to incorporate things like Sky Battles, Horde Encounters, Pokemon-Amie, Super Training, and the Player Search System. The Player Search System was just a replacement for C-Gear and used the 3DSs hardware capabilities to search for players locally and on the internet. While this allowed players to be connected and facilitated battles and trades it was not entirely unique.

Sky Battles and Horde Encounters on the other hand were unique Pokemon battles that had their limitations and requirements. Sky Battles were accessible only to certain Flying-type Pokemon and Pokemon that had the ability Levitate. They also prevented certain moves from being used. Pokemon that could participate but didnt know any appropriate moves would default to using Struggle in Sky Battles.

Horde Encounters were encounters with wild Pokemon that would have players battle against five wild Pokemon at once. Pokemon in Horde Encounters were often under-level compared to other Pokemon in the area and hordes would consist primarily of one Pokemon species. While it was possible for there to be two species of Pokemon it was always four of one species and one of another in the horde. Horde Encounters were not available everywhere but where they were they had a one in twenty chance of being initiated.

Mega Charizard X And Y

Mega Charizard X excels in self-buffing, sweeping through the enemy team in one go while sustaining itself through Roost. Meanwhile, Mega Charizard Y specializes in taking advantage of its Drought ability to pierce even the most solid of enemy defenses with either a super-powered Fire Blast or a no-charge-needed Solar Beam.

However, between the two, Mega Charizard X holds a slight advantage. Its design is far cooler, and its change from being a Fire and Flying-type to being a Fire and Dragon-type is quite handy in battle.

When in Adventure mode, performing activities with Buddies increases their mood. The highest level mood, ‘excited’ can also give you benefits for a limited time.

When your buddy is ‘excited’ – as indicated by a cheering icon surrounded by Hearts – then you’ll receive the following benefits:

• Candy distances will be halved
• Your daily Heart cap increases to 20

Getting a Pokémon excited, then, has its perks. To get it excited, there are two methods:

To make a Pokemon ‘excited’, you can either:

• Use Poffin – a shop-only item you can purchase from the shop for 100 Coins – which also fills all feeding heart meters for the day
• Perform enough actions to reach a certain threshold

Though the second one is ‘free’, it’s neither easy or particularly obvious from the outset. You must collect 32 ‘points’ from performing various activities, but you cannot do them at once – each individual activity has a 30 minute cooldown, with the exception of walking.

Here’s how many points you get from each activity :

Some clarifications on the above, thanks to TheTraveller on reddit – you can get multiple Battle points within a half hour if you Battle different ways and Souvenirs, Presents and visiting new Stops have no cooldown, just like walking.

It’s also important to note that, with the introduction of the Season of Celebrations on Tuesday, 1st December, the number of hearts you can earn daily from battling was increased to three.

How Do You Evolve Eevee Into Sylveon In Pokmon Go

There’s a simple trick Pokémon GO fanatics need to do to evolve Eevee into Sylveon.

Players have to simply nickname their Eevee “Kira.”

For those that dont know how this works, players must capture an Eevee and the 25 candies you need to evolve it.

Then, nickname your little Pokémon Kira, and you should see a silhouette appear underneath the standard evolve button.

Tap that, and youre guaranteed to get a Sylveon.

The naming trick only works once for each Eevee evolution.

In order to duplicate this process, you’ve got to get an Eevee as your buddy, and then collect 70 hearts with it – enough for it to become a great buddy.

After that, the option should appear to evolve an additional Sylveon.

What Does Buddy Adventure Allow You To Do In Pokmon Go

Once you reach Trainer level 2, Buddy Adventure introduces a series of new activities and benefits:

• You can play with and feed berries to your Buddy in AR mode
• Your Buddy will follow you on the map screen
• Increasing your Buddy level unlocks a range of perks, including additional aid during the catch phase, a CP boost, and finding items
• Up to three players can share the same AR space with their Pokémon to take a picture

As before, walking a set distance will earn you Candy, and this still works outside of the Buddy system – meaning you don’t have to have them on the map in ‘Adventure’ mode for this to work, in case you forget to fed them regularly.

You can also swap between multiple Buddies per day, allowing you to earn the above perks across multiple Pokémon.

The first, and easiest, way to evolve Eevee into its evolutions is whats known as the nickname trick. Trainers can guarantee any of Eevees evolutions in Pokemon Go once each using this Eevee nickname method.

Simply nicknaming your Eevee one of the special names will grant trainers the Eeveelution of their choice. Use 25 Eevee candy and your Eevee will evolve to the evolution with the corresponding nickname.

Aside from the usual increase in spawns and the higher rate of finding a Shiny, this weekends Pokemon Go Eevee Community Day event will give trainers even more perks. From Friday, August 13 at 1 p.m. EDT to Monday, August 16 at 1 p.m. EDT, when Eevee evolves into its many evolutions they will learn an exclusive move. Below are the Pokemon-exclusive moves that will be learned during Community Day:

• Vaporeon: Scald
• Sylveon: Psyshock
• Eevee caught or hatched during this time will know Last Resort.

Also, evolving Sylveon will be much easier during the two-day event. More information on Sylveons evolution method is below, but obtaining the Fairy-type will only require seven friendship hearts instead of the usual 70.

Alternate Eevee Evolution Methods For Leafeon Glaceon Umbreon And Espeon

Gen 4’s Leafeon and Glaceon have a second Eevee evolution method, by using the Mossy Lure or Glacial Lure respectively. When you’re in range of that PokéStop with the Lure enabled, go to your Eevee and choose the Evolution.

Meanwhile, Gen 2’s Umbreon and Espeon also have a second Eevee evolution method. Walk your Eevee as a Buddy for 10km, then evolve it either during the night or day and it’ll turn into the desired evolution.

Note you specifically need to walk 10k and earn two Candies in the process, then keep Eevee as your Buddy when evolving, and be either day or night during the game itself for it to work .

Since the naming trick only works once per evolution type, this appears to be a useful way to get a second Espeon or Umbreon with some reliability.

How To Evolve Eevee Into Sylveon In Pokemon Go

Pokemon Go currently has Pokemon from several generations and the most recent Eevee Evolution added to the game is Sylveon, a Pokemon added in generation 6. In the main Pokemon games, Sylveon evolves based off your Affection and Friendship stats, which maps to the Pokemon Buddy Feature that Pokemon Go has.

First of all, the nickname trick continues to work with Sylveon. To get it first, take an Eevee and rename it to Kira then evolve it. The first time you do this, youll get a Sylveon. After this, however, youll have to evolve into Sylveon in the traditional way, as this is a one-time trick per eeveelution.

For further chances to evolve Eevee to Sylveon, youll need to get 70 Buddy Hearts with an Eevee which puts your relationship with that Pokemon at the Great Buddy level. After this, you simply need to evolve that Eevee with 25 Eevee candy, and youll get the fairy-type Sylveon in return.

All of these work with the Flower Crown Eevee or Shiny Eevee so you can use these tricks to get yourself a Shiny Sylveon or a Flower Crown Sylveon.

How To Evolve Umbreon & Espeon In Pokemon Go

Unlike the previous evolutions, however, Umbreon and Espeon dont evolve from Eevee at random, requiring specific actions to get them.

Generation Ii Eevee Evolutions: Espeon And Umbreon

Unlike the Generation I Eevee evolutions, you have more control over which of the later evolutions you get. To obtain another Espeon or Umbreon, you need to make Eevee your Buddy and walk 10 km with it. Once youve done that, evolve Eevee using 25 Candy during the day to get Espeon, or evolve it at night to get Umbreon. However, there are times that the actual time in your area and the time in the game are not in sync. Thus, youll have to check the color of the sky in the game rather than just looking out the window to make sure that you get the Eevee evolution you want.

The Main Way To Vaporeon

If youre looking for another Vaporeon after using the naming trick already, unfortunately, things get quite awkward to manage here.

The main way of evolving Eevee into Vaporeon is simply to hit the natural evolution button unfortunately, this is random and can potentially put out Jolteon or Flareon instead of Vaporeon.

On the upside, this method can be repeated as many times as you have Eevees up all the way until you get what you want, but there is no way to influence it towards becoming Vaporeon beyond simply using the naming trick listed above once.

The random evolution is also quite cheap at only 25 candies each, so as long as you have a few good Eevees to evolve, youll quite likely get what you want from it.

How To Evolve Eevee Into Sylveon In Pokmon Go

Sylveon was finally released into Pokémon Go on May 25th, 2021 as part of the Luminous Legends Y event.

Though it can only be used once, the easiest way to evolve an Eevee into Sylveon is to change its nickname to Kira and ensure you have at least 25 Eevee Candy.

Before you press evolve, however, make sure the silhouette for Sylveon is on the evolve button – if it’s not then you’re Eevee may evolve into a different Eeveelution.

If this does occur for the you, it can be easily fixed by closing Pokémon Go and opening it again.

Once you’ve used the name trick, Eevee can be evolved into Sylveon by earning 70 Buddy hearts with it, which means your chosen Eevee needs to be at Great Buddy Level. Swapping buddies will not reset your progress towards Sylveon, so feel free to change your Buddy Pokémon freely.

You’ll also still need 25 Eevee Candy.

This evolution method is in keeping with how you must have a high friendship level with an Eevee, along with it knowing a fairy-type move, if you wish to evolve it into a Sylveon in the main-line series.

The new Appraisal feature is a great way to quickly discover how powerful your new Pokemon are. Finding out that an old favourite has a three star rating is incredibly gratifying.

It’s especially useful for when you’re comparing a bunch of the same Pokémon, as you can keep the stat appraisal screen open as you move between Pokémon. This allows you to quickly compare stats and star rankings as you try to decide which Pokémon to keep and which ones to release.

You can even search for Pokémon by their specific star tier, just like how you can search for them by name. To do this, you’ll need to search:

• 0* = 0 Stars
• 3* = 3 Stars
• 4* = 3 Stars with a red background / 100% Pokémon

The new ranking system makes it a lot easier to decide which Pokémon are worth investing your Stardust and Candy in. Though it’s still important to remember a Pokémon’s rarity and whether it’s one of the best Pokémon in the game.

Though by and large the closer to 100% this is the better, depending on the Pokémon, some individual stats are more important than others – so it isn’t the be all and end all.

For example, if you have a Snorlax – one of the best creatures to put in a gym with its high health – with a low HP stat, that makes it a less attractive proposition. But then again, because it’s rare, you might not have any alternative Snorlax to rely on. Of course, an average Snorlax will still perform better than others in its field, so it could still be worth Powering up.

How To Evolve To Espeon Or Umbreon Without The Trick

There is another method to evolve an Eevee to Espeon or Umbreon , and it is to walk. The process is the following:

• Select as a partner the Eevee that we want to evolve.
• Walk 10 kilometers with him.
• Get the 25 candies.
• If we evolve the Pokémon during the day, Eevee will evolve in Espeon, while if we do it at night, Eevee will evolve to Umbreon.

Eevee is one of the most beloved Pokémon not just because its cute and cuddly, but because it has the unique ability to evolve into one of several final forms with very different elemental affinities.

In Pokémon Go, it may seem like random chance will determine whether your Eevee evolves into a Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon or Umbreon. But upon further investigation, theres an Easter egg that takes chance out of the equation, and its really easy to manage. Heres how.

Before you start tampering with how your Eevee develop, make sure you have 25 Eevee candies so you can actually evolve your Eevee.

1. Open your list of Pokémon and select the Eevee you want to evolve.

2. Once you are in your Eevees bio screen, press the pencil icon to rename your Eevee.

3.Type in one of five names and press OK. These names are what decide which Eevolution you will get.

He is then asked to file a report against him by a police officer who almost arrested him for burning Professor Elm’s field but he fakes it on purpose because he wanted to go after Silver himself.

After Gold and Silver defeat the Team Rocket Grunts, Gold wonders whether or not Silver has ever enjoyed a battle, and requests one against him, to which he accepts. The battle starts out and remains pretty even, even against Silver’s newly evolved Kingdra, until Silver uses a Tyranitar borrowed from Lance, which is able to wreak havoc on Gold’s whole team with its Sandstorm but is able to defeat it with Togebo, however Togebo gets squashed and Gold is defeated. Silver then departs for the Lake of Rage with Gold insisting on coming with him.

Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Arc

He appeared in a flashback when Ultima thinking of the Pokédex holders he had taught Blast Burn.

He also appeared in a call Emerald made with Silver and Crystal. Emerald asks the Johto trio to help destroy the giant meteor. During the call, it was revealed that they were with Norman who accidentally left them behind.

Pryce, the Gym Leader of Mahogony Town, is an incredibly different character in the manga than in either the games or the anime. In the manga, hes the mastermind behind the GSaC sections main conflict. He’s also a manipulative, power-hungry person, trying to control time itself using Celebi.

In the anime and games, though, hes just an experienced elderly trainer who meditates under a waterfall all the time. The two versions of this character are like night and day in terms of their personality and goals.

Firered & Leafgreen Chapter

In the fifth chapter, inspired by Green meeting her parents, Silver renews his quest to find the truth about his own past. This journey takes him to Viridian City, where he meets Yellow, who reads the mind of his Sneasel, who has a memory of the statue of Giovanni that further supports Silver’s theory that he grew up in Viridian.

Soon, two admins of Team Rocket, Sird and Orm, arrive and confronted Yellow and Silver in battle. After the battle, Sird revealed that Giovanni is, in fact, the father of Silver. After hearing this, Silver fainted and was taken by Sird to the Team Rocket airship in order to reunite the boy with his father. When he awakes, Silver refuses to accept that Giovanni is his father and that he is the heir of Team Rocket.

Although Silver was initially unhappy about his true heritage, Blue helped him realize that Giovanni has his good qualities, and Silver uses his Ursaring to help rescue his father. He then helped the other Pokédex holders support Red to keep the airship from crashing in Vermilion City. They celebrated the victory, but soon after their win, Sird turns Silver and his friends to statues with a beam intended for Deoxys.

The Concept Of An Energy Point

Interestingly, early concepts introduced in Pokemon Adventures often made their way into game mechanics much further down the line. It does make sense, considering the creator of Pokemon, Satoshi Taijiri, said in an interview that this manga is the closest representation to how he imagined the Pokemon universe to be.

One such example is GSaC’s introduction of the concept of each Pokemon having an Energy Point, where Pokeballs would have the best chance of working on a Pokemon. Then, seventeen years later, Pokemon Go came out and hinted at a similar concept in their catching mechanics. Gold Turns His Bike Into A Scooter

Gold is like the perfect encapsulation of a 90s kid. He wears a backward hat, skateboards around, has goggles, and doesnt listen to authority. So when he ends up facing Whitney, the Goldenrod City gym leader, in a bike race, hes going to go about it his own way.

Instead of using the bikes the franchise is so iconically known for, Gold instead takes the bike apart. He combines them into a scooter, a method of transport that was an icon of the 90s. Sadly, it wasn’t an option in the games.

The Gym Leader Exhibition Match

One of the most exciting events in the GSaC section is the Gym Leader exhibition match. The Pokemon Federation sets up this exhibition match of Kanto vs. Johto gym leaders.

Ultimately, it was a way for Oak and his Pokedex Holders to identify the Mask of Ice antagonist of the section, who was known to be one of these gym leaders. It’s an awesome event that would have been incredible to see in the games, especially in an already underrated entry like Pokemon Crystal.

Heartgold & Soulsilver Chapter

The chapter opens up with Gold facing the Pokémon Arceus with his entire team. Despite his best efforts, none of his attacks seem to affect the Alpha Pokémon, which responds by attacking his Pokémon with a powerful roar. He tells his Pokémon to hold on and wait for Silver to arrive and help.

A few weeks earlier, Gold and Whitney travel to the Pokéathlon Dome so that they can compete in the Pokéathlon. After a forced change of clothes, Gold begins his challenge with the Jump Course, which he wins with the help of Sudobo, Sunbo, and Togebo. There, he encounters his idol, DJ Mary, along with the Radio Director, who were hosting the event.

In the Speed Course, Gold faces another competitor, Jet, who manages to beat him at Hurdle Dash and Pennant Capture. In the final round, Relay Run, Gold faces Jet one last time. His opponent clearly outmatches him, but Gold and Togebo manage to beat Jet, earning Gold yet another Medal.

Having beaten four courses, Gold decides to challenge the final one, the Power Course. There, he encounters the Elite Four, Will, Karen, Koga, and Bruno, who have come to the Pokéathlon to compete and advertise the Pokémon League. Gold decides to challenge them, only to be clearly outmatched in the Circle Push and Goal Roll games.

Silvers Past With Pryce Giovanni & Green

Silver is a much more likable character in the manga compared to his game incarnation. For example, the version of Silver in the manga was kidnapped by Pryce, made into a slave along with Green, and escaped. He eventually started working with the ex-Pokemon Champion Lance, and eventually got his own Pokedex.

The game iteration doesnt have this same background. This is likely because Pryce isnt nearly the same character in the games, and Green was sadly not around as a character this early in the franchise. That said, both versions of the character are still the son of Team Rockets leader, Giovanni.

Heartgold & Soulsilver Arc

Three years after the events in the Emerald arc, the story starts when Gold arrives in the Pokéathlon Dome, looking for a person with information he is supposed to meet with. The person never shows up and Gold starts investigating. The disappearance of the person in question might have something to do with the sudden recent sightings of Team Rocket. Silver, Gold and Crystal carry out investigations to see who the mastermind behind all this is. Their investigations lead them to the Sinjoh Ruins where the mastermind’s plan, involving the legendary Pokémon Arceus, is unfolded. As told, Gold faced Arceus alone with all his team members but Togebo which Gold didn’t want let him fight thinking he will get hurt but after believing in him, Togebo evolved into a Togetic and later into Togekiss after seeing the bond between Gold and his Togekiss. Arceus believed in humans and his anger was calmed.

The Origin Of The Name Team Rocket

The Team Rocket organization had a lot more bite in the manga series, where they’re a lot more dangerous. However, the manga does one hilariously corny thing to take this villainous team down a notch. It gives their name an absurdly stupid origin.

In the GSaC section, Lt. Surge tries to get through to some brainwashed Rocket goons by talking about how they got their name. Apparently, Giovanni likened their organization and its members to tusks, which would be used as tools of evil for his own goals. Hence the phrase “Raid On The City, Knock Out…Evil Tusks” was born. It’s never been confirmed if this is the canonical background of the name, but its hilariously nonsensical all the same.

Hints At Regional Variants Before They Became A Reality

In the same vein, Bill hinted at regional variant Pokemon in the GSaC section of the manga. At this point in the story, Crystal had already received her Pokedex from Professor Oak and was traveling with her all-star team of surprisingly capable Pokemon, sending anything she caught back to the Professor for his research.

While talking to Bill, he mentions to her that Pokemon have regional variants based on where theyre found and captured. In the GSaC games, this isnt true . However, a long way down the line, these regional variants became a reality starting with the Sun and Moon games.

Gold Silver & Crystal

The third adventure is based on the Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal versions of the game. It features the protagonists Gold, Silver and Crystal, and is centered mostly around the Johto region, with Gold as the point of view character. Gold first started his journey to chase a thief that broke into Professor Elm’s lab, and stole a Totodile. Gold then made it his mission to get Totodile back from Silver , and follows Silver. In Gold’s quest to steal back Totodile, he decided to become fully involved in Silver’s life. But following him gets him wrapped up in Neo Team Rocket , and Gold tries to stop them. In a shocking reveal, it turns out one of the gym leaders is the Neo Team Rocket’s leader, the Ice type gym leader, Pryce. He was also the Mask of Ice, a mysterious man who kidnapped Silver and Green as children. The Johto Trio then stop both Neo Rocket and the Mask of Ice in a dramatic final battle to end off the chapter.

Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Chapter

Gold makes a cameo in Ultima’s flashback after comparing his initial struggles in mastering Blast Burn to Sapphire and Emerald’s quick mastery of Blast Burn and Frenzy Plant.

In Omega Alpha Adventure 20, Gold, along with Crystal and Silver, was called by Emerald to ask for assistance in destroying a giant meteoroid threatening to destroy the world. During the call, Gold revealed that Norman was with them after he had been accidentally left behind in Johto.

Pokeballs Themselves Function Differently

Speaking of Pokeballs, they function a bit differently in the Adventures manga series. Firstly, the red top half of a Pokeball turns semi-transparent once a Pokemon is inside it, allowing the miniaturized Pokemon within to communicate with their trainers while still in the ball. Secondly, this is the first Adventures section to actually discuss how Pokeballs work which the games do not.

For example, the Bug-type Gym Leader Bugsy’s catching net is made from the same thread that Pokeballs use to capture and tame the Pokemon. It’s nice to have some sort of canonical confirmation that Pokeballs aren’t just pure magic.

Throwing The Pokeball As Another Layer Of Strategy

This concept pops up all over the manga series, but really only starts taking off in the GSaC section. Basically, its the concept of trainers using their Pokeballs in unique ways to add new levels of complexity to their battles.

For example, Gold likes to use a pool cue to hit his Pokeballs in ways that allow his Pokemon to pop up behind opponents. Crystal likes to kick Pokeballs at Pokemon to capture them, and can kick several at once to capture groups of Pokemon in a flash. Yellow likes to use her fishing rod to control how her Pokemon are released.

The Gym Leaders & Their Legendary Beasts

The three Legendary Beasts have a different purpose in the Adventures manga than they do in the games. All three roam the world in the manga, battling gym leaders to see if theyre worthy of wielding them. Over the course of the story, Suicune ends up beating most of the Johto Gym Leaders.

Its not until he comes across Misty that Suicune finds someone he wouldnt mind lending his power to. A few chapters later, Entei ends up healing and working with Cinnabar Island’s Blaine. Raikou lends his power to the one and only Lt. Surge. Its a neat story element, but it doesnt at all match the events of the games.

Thanks to Pokémon Home and some crazy, convoluted trading mechanics, trainers can finally get Meltan and Melmetal in Pokémon Sword and Shieldbut itll require you to own another Pokémon game in the series.

Since Pokémon Go transfers arent available to Pokémon Home at time of writing, youll need to go through a long drawn-out process using the Lets Go games to add these creatures to your teams.

First, you need to have captured a Meltan or Melmetal in Pokémon Go through the weird mystery box feature of the game and transferred either Pokémon to Pokémon: Lets Go, Pikachu! or Lets Go, Eevee! on your Nintendo Switch.

Next, after opening Pokémon Home, you need to transfer that Meltan from the Lets Go games into a Home box. Then, transfer it from Pokémon Home to Sword and Shield, where youll finally be able to use it.

Not only did we catch wind of a new update heading to Pokemon Unite, but The Pokemon Company has also revealed the premiere date for the next Pokemon movie. In addition to that, it seems some rare mythical Pokemon will soon be obtainable in Pokemon Sword and Shield, though there are some steps you need to take in order to unlock them.

Kicking off todays slate of announcements was the reveal that Pokemon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle will be debuting on Netflix on October 8th, 2021. The movie will feature the mythical Pokemon Zarude, which was first revealed last year. The movie centers around a human, Koko, who has been raised by a Pokemon called Dada Zarude and eventually meets Ash and Pikachu on their journey.

You can check out a new trailer for the movie embedded above, but theres another thing youll want to do if youre a Pokemon Sword and Shield player. Those who sign up for the Pokemon Trainer Club Newsletter by September 25th, 2021, will receive two different codes to redeem in-game. One of those codes grants Dada Zarude from Secrets of the Jungle, while the other grants a shiny Celebi.

Get Dada Zarude From Pokemon The Movie: Coco

The Official YouTube Channel of Pokemon Japan released an announcement on November 13th that a new form of Zarude is going to be distributed in the celebration of Pokemon the Movie: Coco . This version of Zarude is the same as the Zarude in the movie, which is wearing a pink scarf around the neck with Celebi’s Pokedex number.

The movie is currently only available in Japan. But we have good news! It will also be released for international audiences in 2021 with an English title Pokemon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle. And maybe a Zarude event will be available, as well!

Dada Zarude Availability Period

Everyone who sees the movie in theaters will obtain Dada Zarude. Fans will receive the serial code for Dada Zarude upon entering the movie theater. This means that unfortunately, buying the ticket is not enough to get Dada Zarude. Also, the code is for single-use only, so sharing it with anyone will not work unless it is unused.

How To Get Mythical Pokmon Zarude In Sword And Shield

Nintendo has shared the offer on their official Pokémon website. All you need to do is go here and then sign up for the newsletter using the button. Zarude wont be available immediately. Nintendo will email the codes to add the Pokémon later in December but this offer is only applicable if the player sign-ups for the newsletter by November 20. Nintendo might email these codes by December 11 so keep your eyes peeled for them.

Pokemon The Movie: Coco Ticket Pre

By pre-purchasing a ticket for Pokemon the Movie: Coco, you can get Zarude and a shinyCelebi in celebration of the movie. You can receive the two Pokemon regardless of whether you have purchased the Expansion Pass DLC. However, the availability period to get the preorder tickets for the Coco movie is now over, but you can still redeem them until March 31, 2021.

Zarude is obtainable via a Nintendo eShop serial code included with the pre-purchase ticket. After pre-purchase tickets went on sale starting on August 7th, players became able to receive Zarude, along with a Shiny Celebi, via the serial code on the same day.

What Are Zarudes Abilities And Moves

Zarude is a Dark/Grass type Pokémon which has the special ability Leaf Guard, preventing the Pokémon from being affected by non-volatile status conditions and Yawn under sunny weather.

Zarude will be distributed at level 60 with the below moves.

• Close Combat
• Swagger
• Snarl

At level 90, Zarude will learn signature move Jungle Healing, which restores HP of the user and allies, while also healing any status conditions they may have.

How To Get Zarude In Pokemon Sword & Shield

Players will need to sign up for the Pokémon Trainer Club newsletter and opt in to email marketing by September 25. After this deadline, players will receive a special email with a passcode to claim Zarude in their game.

After receiving the code, players can boot up Pokémon Sword & Shield and head over to the pause menu. Players can select the Mystery Gift tab and enter the code from the email there. Players will be treated to a small animation of Zarude making an appearance, and players will have successfully added this Pokémon to their collection.

Players will also be able to collect a special Shiny Celebi in the same way. This mythical Pokémon functions as the guardian of the forest in the film and was previously only available in Pokémon Go. Players should make sure to collect both creatures before the deadline.

A second form for Zarude titled Dada Zarude is set to be distributed in Japan through screenings of Pokémon The Movie Coco, which releases in cinemas next month.

This special form of Zarude wears a Celebi cape, but no release date or roll out has been announced for western territories.

Considering Japan received Zarude earlier this year though, its likely Dada Zarude will arrive in the west in 2021 when Pokemon The Movie: Secrets of the Jungle comes out.

If you want this Hoenn grass starter in Pokemon Go, the easiest way to obtain one would just be to find a Treecko out in the wild. Treecko is fairly common and you can likely find it anywhere grassy nearby. In order to evolve your Treecko into a Grovyle, you will need 25 candies, and to evolve your Grovyle into a Sceptile it will take 100 candies. To get better odds, try using a lure at a pokestop and incense to run into more wild Pokemon. As a grass-type starter, it is relatively uncommon, but still easier to find than most. As long as you see grass-type spawns near you, you can find a Treecko as well.

Grass is not typically considered an offensive type. Like Poison, it makes use of other strategies instead of pure damage output, like sleep and paralysis conditions, health-sapping moves, and more. However, Grass-type attackers see a lot of use against the all-too-common Rock/Ground combo, as well as being one of Water’s only two weaknesses. In the battle of Rock, Ground, and Water, Grass is good against all of them. Additionally, Grass is often paired with a secondary typing that allows it some more utility, depending on the context.

Venusaur is already a bulk monster, but that’s increased heavily by its Mega Evolution. Mega Venusaur sports an absolutely unbelievable max stat spread of 241 in Attack, 246 in Defense, and 190 in Stamina. This Grass/Poison-type is going to be standing for a long, long time, giving it massive TDO of ~1,005 points. The Grass-type move given to all Grass starters on Community Day, Frenzy Plant, is an extremely attractive factor. It’s easily one of the best moves in the game, and paired with the fast energy generation of Vine Whip, Mega Venusaur is a force to be reckoned with. It will one day be outclassed by Mega Sceptile, but for now, this bulky plant dino is here to soak up damage and deal it back out with ease.

In Pokémon Go, even the best Pokémon can be useless if it has the wrong moveset. Fortunately, if you spend enough time fighting Raids and PvP battles, your Pokémon won’t be stuck with those inferior Moves. Technical Machines are what let you change movesets in Pokémon Go. You can get them from winning Raid and PvP Battles, as well as from some Research. You can even get special Elite TMs on a rare occasion. But knowing which Pokémon to use your TMs on can be tricky. Pokemon Go: Best Water

If you’re in need of a good Water-type, you’re a bit spoiled with choice. There are plenty of great Water-types, as well as some great ones that aren’t even released yet. And, you can dominate without even needing a Shadow version or a Mega Evolution, as many Water-types measure up to the big fish in their vanilla forms.

The likes of Kingler, Feraligatr, and Kyogre need no special boost to sit with the upper echelons.

With Kyogre, you’re looking at a massive TDO of 919.04, and that’s before its signature move, Origin Pulse, is even in the game, OR its Primal Reversion, which will just be ridiculous when it arrives. Kyogre once ruled the seas before the release of Mega Evolution and Shadow Pokemon, but it still compares to them, and it’ll be back on top when its Primal Reversion is released.

Kingler was relatively unremarkable before Crabhammer was added, and that addition catapulted it to the hall of fame among Water-types. Its DPS almost outpaces Kyogre, though it’ll go down faster, making it a bit of a glass cannon in comparison. However, with a massive max Attack stat of 240, Kingler hits hard.

The absolute best of the best in the world of Water Pokemon are Mega Blastoise, Mega Gyarados, and Shadow Swampert.

Kyogre Weakness & Best Moveset In Pokemon Go

Lets get into the best moveset and weakness of Kyogre in Pokemon GO, now that we know what the best counters are. As you might have assumed looking at that list of counters, this creatures main weaknesses are Grass and Electric attacks, from which it takes 160% damage. On the other hand, Kyogre is fairly resistant to Steel, Water, Ice and Fire attacks they deal just 63% damage. So, even if you dont have any of the Pokemon in the list above, just go with Electric or Grass, and you should do relatively okay.

As for the best moveset, its probably best to stick to Kyogres guns, it being a Water Pokemon. The only Fast Attack it can have that we know of is Waterfall , so that takes care of that. Sure, it can have Dragon Tail, but thats a Legacy move. As for Charged Attacks, Kyogre can have Hydro Pump , Surf , Blizzard and Thunder . Out of the bunch, Id say that Hydro Pump is the best of the bunch, but thats just me.

Legacy Moves In Pokmon Go

With meta changes, some Pokémon lost the ability to learn a particular move. These are called legacy moves. For many Pokémon, these were the best moves available for them to date. If you are lucky enough to have a Pokémon with one of these moves, you may want to think twice before changing it with a TM.

Pokemon Go: Best Rock

Rock is home to some Pokemon that hit hard, making them great as generalists, as well as uber-powerful against the handful of Flying-type Legendaries with a weakness to Rock, like Moltres, Articuno, Zapdos, Lugia, Ho-oh, Yveltal, the Forces of Nature, and more. At lower tiers, they’ll also do a great job against Mega Raids like both Mega Charizard forms, and against common gym defenders like Dragonite and Salamence.

Once considered the greatest Rock-type attacker, Tyranitar lost its Rock-type throne to Rampardos in the same way it lost its Dark-type throne to Mega Houndoom and some others. But, its Shadow form places it back on top, so long as it has Smack Down, which can be a harsh barrier, given its exclusivity. You’ll also want to watch out for those all-too-common Fighting-types, which have plagued Tyranitar as a double weakness since its introduction in Gen II of the main series. The addition of Fairy-types hasn’t helped, either.

For a more obtainable attacker that doesn’t need some Elite TMs to be a viable Rock-type attacker, look to the Gen IV Fossil Pokemon, Rampardos. This hard-hitting dinosaur is what knocked Tyranitar off its throne, easily ranking #1 in DPS, even ahead of Shadow Tyranitar and Legendary Terrakion. However, Rampardos plummets down the list in terms of TDO, sitting behind even Pokemon that aren’t mentioned in this section. It’ll hit really hard, but only a few times before going down to one of Rock’s many weaknesses.

What Are The Best Pokmon Go Movesets To Change With Tms For Gym Battles

It’s hard to recommend anyone “waste” TMs on defenders anymore, given how the Gym system in Pokémon Go operates now. By punishing defenders with CP of 3000 or higher, limiting each Gym to only one Pokémon of the same kind at any given time, and making it much easier to take down Gyms, there’s very little room left for classical “Gym defenders.”

You’re better off investing TMs and stardust in Raid Boss counters since anything you put into a Gym defender will, at most, only slow down an attacker by seconds. Still, if having the best defense is a point of pride for you, and you have the TMs to burn, here are some of the top Gym defenders.

Sceptile Best Moves And Movesets In Pokmon Go

As already mentioned above, a lot thats great about Sceptile comes straight from its move pool. Pokemon GO Sceptile best moveset is Bullet Seed with Leaf Blade, a double grass moveset that benefits from STAB, has high energy return and a three bar charge move. You can also run Fury Cutter as a quick move, but we prefer to have a STAB benefiting move as a quick move in our setups. With this moveset, Sceptile can almost outperform Exeggutor in the same role.

Curiously, an Aerial Ace Sceptile can be used as a nice counter to grass type opponents, although there are better Pokemon for that role.

Fighting is currently one of the best types in the game. It’s dominated by Pokemon that hit fast and hard, and it serves as the weakness to many strong Pokemon, including Dark- and Steel-types, as well as the ever-popular Normal-type gym defenders like Blissey and Slaking. It looks like Fighting will remain a dominant time for the foreseeable future, as well, unless there’s some extreme meta shift, which is unlikely.

The best Fighting-type is probably no surprise: Shadow Machamp. This Gen I punchy friend has long been considered one of the best Fighting-types in series history, and its Shadow boost just makes it even better. With access to some of the best Fighting-type moves, as well as Rock Slide for coverage against Flying-types, Sh. Machamp isn’t going down without a fight. Even without the Shadow boost, regular Machamp sits at the top too, just slightly behind some newer introduced Pokemon like Lucario, Blaziken, and Mega Lopunny. But, it’s fast, has decent bulk, and hits hard, so it’s still a terrific option, especially given how abundantly common Machop is.

The first of many Fighting-type Mega Evolutions to see release in GO is Mega Lopunny. It’ll likely lose some places in the ranking when others like M-Lucario and Mega Mewtwo X are released, but for now, Mega Lop is a sure bet. With a max Attack stat of 282, it’s definitely a Pokemon worth adding to your team, even if it won’t be one the best for long.

Overall, Bug isn’t the best type. Sure, it has its uses, especially in terms of taking down Psychic- and Dark-types from time to time, but both of those types have other weaknesses that are home to Pokemon that are much stronger. With that said, Bug-types can find some niche use here and there.

Mega Beedrill is far and away the best Bug-type, without question. However, even with its best Bug-type moveset of Bug Bite and X-Scissor, its DPS still falls behind. With a monster max Attack stat of 303, though, it’s worth paying attention to, especially with its low evolution cost from Weedle and Kakuna.

For the rest of the ranking, you’re looking at the same familiar faces that dominate the Bug-type in the main series. There are no surprises here, to be sure. Pinsir and Scizor both do very well, whether in their boosted Shadow forms or just the vanilla forms. When their Mega Evolutions are released, they’ll be pretty great, though they may not take down Mega Beedrill.

Genesect has a fun gimmick with its different Drives, but sadly none of them add much value. It’s best as a Bug- or Steel-type, with the moves to match. The different Techno Blast types can have their use in the PvP meta, but they aren’t that great in PvE. As far as Bug-types go, if you’re looking for something that isn’t Shadow or Mega Evolved, Genesect is the best.

Champions Path Pin Collection Sept 25 To Nov 13

There will be six different Pin Collection boxes, each themed after one of six Galar region gym leaders. Each of the boxes will have a unique pin based on that leaders gym badge and a foil card of their ace Pokemon.

A Fine Journey Through Galar

It’s difficult to avoid comparing Champion’s Path to last year’s Hidden Fates. It’s not really fair to either, considering Hidden Fates is widely considered one of the best expansions of all time. That set is still a hot commodity, and when Hidden Fates products pop up on occasion at retailers there’s practically a stampede to the checkout. Champion’s Path doesn’t strike me as a set with the same level of staying power, and I’m not entirely certain why Champion’s Path wasn’t designed to be Hidden Fates 2, considering the former’s success.

On the other hand, Champion’s Path takes a bold new direction that I really appreciate. The amount of Pokémon TCG product on store shelves can be overwhelming, especially for would-be gift buyers, but Champion’s Path makes every box unique and purposeful. I like that aspect of it a lot.

There’s something a bit cynical about taking Rainbow Charizard VMAX, a secret rare variant of the Charizard VMAX from Darkness Ablaze, and sticking it in a premium collection. Why not stuff Champion’s path with Galar League trainer Pokémon like Marnie’s Grimmsnarl and Raihan’s Flygon? It certainly would have fit the theme better and been more rewarding than hunting a Charizard for the umpteenth time.

Champion’s Path is just shy of greatness, but still, a worthy mini-set that has the strongest theme of any modern expansion.

The Pokmon Trainer Fantasy

I can’t help but be enchanted by Champion’s Paths theme, however, and I really hope to see these ideas expanded upon in future sets. I think the staggered release schedule and product variety for this expansion is well designed: There are three gym badges available today then next week two double-gym badge boxes will release two Sword exclusive badges and two Shield exclusive badges then the final three gym badges will be available in November just before the next set, Vivid Voltage. There’s also a special Marnie box and a Hatterene V box in October.

I’m definitely heading back for more when the next pin collection becomes available. Yes, I’m happy to hunt for rare ‘Zards, but I’m also delighted to have the opportunity to complete a collection of pins. When it comes to pin boxes I usually only go for it if it’s a Pokémon I like, as the per pack value is typically lower for pin boxes, but in this case, they’ve convinced me to buy every pin collection that becomes available and I’m happy to do it. The theme of this set is so strong and I’m looking forward to more sets that use these ideas down the road.

The full digital set list is here for Champion’s Path. As you already may have noticed, it’s a small set. There are 80 cards total in this set, including Secret Rare cards. The set description mentioned a Special Energy card. This seems not the case anymore.

Update: We have added the promo cards. Jirachi GX Full Art and Togepi & Cleffa & Igglybuff GX Special Art from SM12a Tag All Stars have been found in the data of TCG Online. We are currently investigating what product this could be.

Update 2: We have found 1 product that has an EAN number that is not matching with other existing products. It looks like a Premium Box for November 2020 will come.

However, this product is nowhere seen else and has a very basic placeholder name with no information. So either it could drop out of nowhere later as a silent release in the future, similar to the Kanto Power Collection, or it has yet to be widely revealed soon. It could be that they want full attention for Champion’s Path and Vivid Voltage.

The Premium Collection Hype

Champion’s Path is the 4th in a series of yearly mini-sets that began in 2017 with Shining Legends, followed by Dragon Majesty in 2018 and Hidden Fates in 2019. The mini-sets fall in between the standard summer and fall expansions and, as you would expect, have far fewer cards in them that the standard expansion. Mini-sets are not sold as individual packs, but rather are sold exclusively in unique collections that typically include extra collectibles like pins and figurines. These sets also have Elite Trainer Boxes, common to all sets, but instead of the normal eight packs, they come with 10 packs and a full-art or alternate art promo card.

These mini-sets are highly sought after by collectors because of their premium price and limited availability, which typically means the cards are more valuable and rarer than cards from normal sets. What’s more, mini-sets have historically contained secret rares that dominate the collector market and sell for outrageous prices, such as the Shiny Charizard from Hidden Fates.

The campaign for Twitch Plays Pokemon Crystal has come to climactic end. As Id hoped and others predicted the final match against the Champion Red the protagonist from the first game was fought with the original team we raised. So in this match of Gods vs Mon, Lord Helix vs LazerGator, who won?

Well if we defeated the game, we clearly won the battle and what a battle it was. With our inability to really use healing items and fighting our way through Mt Silver, we certainly came to the champion with a disadvantage. It seemed almost impossible. So much so that the developer announced the countdown clock for Pokemon Emerald and said that if we hadnt completed the game in time, too bad.

I find it hard to believe that the developer actually posted that, but with the countdown clock to Twitch Plays Pokemon Emerald already up, it seems legit. Though despite these threats and lack of faith, we did it. We defeated the Gods of old in record time and with only five Pokemon.

Whether youre a follower of Helix or choose to preserve on your own strengths, a team of five Pokemon 4 actually defeating the Champions team of six is admirable. So rejoice in our victory and wait for Twitch Plays Pokemon Emerald a generation three title. I wont be following this one as closely as I have others, but I will certainly keep up to date on the stories that will be created and make a Top 5 at its close.

How many people can play the same video game? Not in the same video game, mind you, but play the exact same game at once?

With the help of a social-media robot, more than 80,000 people are currently trying.

A version of Pokemon Red/Blue, a 1990s game for Nintendos Game Boy, has been streaming on Twitch.tv, an online video platform devoted to gaming, for the past five days.

A user known only by the gamer tag TwitchPlaysPokemon set up the social experiment to accept chat commands as the equivalent of button pushes. You know, typing up moves your character up, down moves him down and whatnot.

Except that tens of thousands of other people are doing the same thing at the same time.

The resulting movements of the main character have been spastic, to say the least. Although the horde managed some success in the first few days, capturing several of those elusive Pokemon, the sheer number of people now tapping commands into Twitchs chat window is causing the games main character, Red, to wander back and forth over the same spot, bang into walls and check his inventory with neurotic frequency.

The page has been viewed more than 10.6 million times, with the number of active users peaking at about 81,000.

After defeating all eight Gym Leaders in Pokémon Let’s Go, the next place you’ll be headed is to the Elite Four. The Elite Four are a powerful group of type-focused trainers that will test every skill you’ve learned along the way in a series of five battles between which you cannot visit a Pokémon Center or change out your party. That means the six you bring with you when you walk through the doors need to be the best Pokémon you possibly can train.

Below, I’ve offered a recommendation for a team to fight the Elite Four with, along with general ideas for what Pokémon types to bring along to each fight. Good luck, Champ-in-the-making!

Now What Elite 4 Postgame

Congratulations! You’re now Pokemon Champion and beat the game. But, if you’re wondering what to do after beating the Elite Four, there’s actually a lot of postgame content in the Let’s Go games. The biggest challenges actually still lie in store–Master Trainers, and Trainers Red, Blue, and Green. You can check out our guidefor more details on how to find and beat those three.

But, you can also re-challenge the Elite Four and your rival once per day, which is a great way to level up for the other postgame challenges.

Each trainer’s Pokemon are 10 levels stronger than they were the first time, each added an Alolan Form Pokemon , and then they all have a fourth move in their set, with some other move changes too.

How To Beat Champion In Pokemon Lets Go

After defeating the Elite Four in Pokemon Lets GO, you can face the champion. He has a robust lineup of Pokemon so there are no stables for this one. However, Lapras, Joleton and Venusaur can be extremely useful so try taking them with you. For the partner pokemon, use Dugtrio or Snorlax and youll be just fine.

Challenge Blue At Viridian Gym

Once Green has been taken care of, the next post-game battle for players to seek out is Blue. He’ll be waiting at the gym in Viridian City and, like Green, has access to some incredibly powerful Pokemon.

His team consists of Pokemon who are all level 66 or higher and even includes a level 68 Mega Charizard Y. This isn’t the only gym that can be re-challenged either, although it is definitely the most difficult of the eight that are available.

Lorelai: Ice & Water Pokmon

Lorelei is the first of the Elite Four. She’s the badass woman on the Lapras that helped you earlier in the game. This time around that Lapras as well as four additional Water or Ice type Pokémon with a couple of Psychic Pokémon in there as well. Her lineup includes:

• Dewgong
• Jynx
• Lapras

Given her lineup includes a ton of Ice types, you won’t want to use Grass to counter all those Water types.

I recommend focusing on the following types:

• Electric for Water – Things such as Zapdos, Jolteon, Raichu, Electabuzz, and Magneton
• Steel, Fighting, or maybe Rock for Ice. Most of the best Rock Pokémon also have Ground, and will thus take more damage from Ice. Fighting will also be countered by Psychic, so this can be tricky.Steel: Magneton , Alolan Sandslash Rock: Golem, Rhydon, Aerodactyl Fighting: Machamp, Poliwrath

Overall, a couple of Magnetons should do the trick!

Finishing the new game will take you around 35 hours. Once you are done with it, there is a wealth of things for you to do.

How To Beat Lance

The last core member of the Elite Four specializes in Dragon-type Pokemon. Take a look at his full team line-up below:

• Seadra
• Charizard
• Dragonite

This Elite Four members team can plow through yours with an assortment of high-damage attacks regardless of your mons type. One good strategy is using the same Electric-type you used against Lorelei since Charizard, Gyarados, Aerodactyl, and Seadra are all weak to electricity.

Dragonite, on the other hand, is a tanky mon thats weak to Ice, Dragon, Fairy, and Rock types. Make sure to bring a mon that knows at least one of those elemental moves when facing against this Elite Four member in Pokemon Lets Go.

All Elite Four Teams & How To Beat Them In Pokemon Lets Go

The Elite Four still stands as one of the toughest challenges in any Pokemon game. After clearing all eight gyms, its time to test your mettle against these battle-hardened trainers. If youre having trouble, heres how to beat the Elite Four in Pokemon Lets Go.

While theyre known as the Elite Four, youll actually have to defeat five trainers. The last person is considered the champion of the League, but youll be dethroning them soon enough. Before anything else, its important to note that you will be fighting all of them consecutively, meaning you cant stop by a center to heal your Pokemon between battles.

That said, its important to stock up on healing supplies before challenging the Elite Four in Pokemon Lets Go. Bring tons of potions, revives, and status ailment cures to keep your Pokemon in top shape after each battle. Moreover, make sure to level up your team a bit if they feel a bit weak. They should be good to go if theyre around the mid-50s or higher.

As with all of the other gym leaders in Pokemon Lets Go, the Elite Four also follow a certain theme when it comes to their team, save for the champion:

• Lorelei uses Ice-types
• Agatha uses Ghost and Poison-types
• Lance uses Dragon-types

How To Beat Bruno In Pokemon Lets Go

Brunos lineap consists of mostly fighting type pokemon. That means that Psychic, Grass and Water pokemon will be extremely useful here. Lapras, Venusaur and Exeggutor are vips here so try getting them before you face Bruno. To finish up the battle, youll need to face Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee and Matchamp. As a result, youll have to bring a psychic pokemon with you like Gengar or Alakazam.

How to Beat Agatha

Agatha is the purple queen and has pokemon of Ghost and Poison type. Bring Alakazam, Starmie and Exeggutor with you to take her lineup down. Golem and Gengar can also prove useful against her will also prove useful.

Battle The Master Trainers

After defeating the Elite Four, players may start to notice that many of the game’s trainers now have a Pokemon symbol floating above their heads. Placing that specific Pokemon at the front of their party will allow players to fight these trainers once more.

Although they are a little more difficult the second time around, the real challenge is finding them all. You can meet Jesse & James in Route 17 after you’ve beaten the game. Talking to them will let you challenge them into a Pokemon battle once more!

Receive Blast-Off Set After Winning

You can get the Jesse & James Team Rocket outfit when you defeat them in Route 17. Be sure to answer “Well…” when they ask you to join Team Rocket!

Battle & Trade Online

The online features of Pokemon Let’s Go allow players too battle and trade with friends or, if they’re so inclined, random people. When battling, all Pokemon get set to level 50 to keep things fair, although it’s still possible to use the Key Stone to help things along.

Given the amount of hard work that goes into catching all of the game’s Legendary Pokemon and tracking down shiny gen 1 variants, the online areas of the games serve as a great place to show them all off. Of course, there are also plenty of challenging opponents there just waiting to be battled, making it a great training ground for those who’ve already defeated Red, Blue and Green.

Pokmon Let’s Go: Elite Four Pokmon Weaknesses And Strategies

The Elite Four are four of the strongest trainers in all of Kanto. They cover four types – although often their teams will stray outside of their main typing – and there’s one surprise at the end, too…

Before you enter, note that you can’t exit at any point to heal at a Pokémon Center or do anything else until you either defeat the entire Elite Four, or you’re beaten by them. Make sure you heal up your sqaud then, do any last-minute levelling, stock up on Revives and Potions, and most of all save the game before you head inside! From then on, it’s just down to you.

Here’s a rundown of each member of the Elite Four’s Pokémon team, including weaknesses so you know how to strategise your attacks against them. Note that where a weakness has an asterisk* next to it, that is a 4x weakness rather than the regular 2x!

How To Beat Bruno

Brunos team hits hard with physical Fighting-type attacks in Pokemon Lets Go. Heres his full team line-up:

• Onix
• Poliwrath
• Machamp

One way to deal with these Fighting-type Pokemon is by bringing either a Flying or a Psychic-type in your group. An Alakazam or an Exeggutor can make quick work of the four Fighting-types and even the Onix if their Special Attack stat is high enough.

Ideally, your Exeggutor will also know some Grass-type moves to deal with that Onix as well. Its either that or you can bring along a mon that knows a Water or Grass-type moves to take it down quickly in Pokemon Lets Go.

What Else Is There To Do In Pokemon Lets Go Post

Aside from the Master Trainers, perhaps the second biggest new thing to do upon completing the game is having rematches with each of the games Gym Leaders. Be warned, however, that each one will come equipped with a Pokemon team thats far more powerful than it was before. Apart from this, the post-game in Pokemon Lets Go can generally be your playground to do whatever you want to do. Want to be the very best? Train up your team before taking on the world. Want to find all the Mega Stones that you missed on your first trip around Kanto? Do this in the post-game, why not. Kanto is your oyster.

How To Beat Lorelei

Lorelei is the first one youll fight, and probably the easiest. All you need is a good electric type pokemon if you bought the Pikachu edition, hell do just fine. Fight Against Gym Leaders Once More

You can face the gym leaders once again after you’ve won the Pokemon League! They’ll still be at the same gyms where you last fought them.

The fight won’t be the same and gym leaders will have more powerful Pokemon at a higher level, with stronger moves!

Legendary Pokmon Take Flight

To be fair, threeof the four Legendary Pokémon in Pokémon:Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’sGo, Eevee!Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltrescan be encountered before becomingthe Pokémon League Champion. But you need to decide whether you want to attemptto catch them before or after taking on the EliteFour. Unlike most wild Pokémon encounters in these games, you will have tobattle the Legendary Pokémon before attempting to catch them. Holding off onyour attempts gives your Pokémon team time to level up more, potentially makingthe battles easier. On the other hand, if you do manage to catch them beforearriving at the Indigo Plateau, you can bring them into your battles againstthe Elite Four.

Articuno can befound deep within the cave in the Seafoam Islands, which is located on Route 20along the southern edge of the Kanto region. This Ice- and Flying-type Pokémonhas a double weakness to Rock-type moves, but Fire-, Electric-, and Steel-type moveswill prove useful as well.

Zapdos hangs out atthe Power Plant, which can only be reached by using Sea Skim on Route 10 to reach the out-of-the-way facility. As anElectric- and Flying-type Pokémon, Zapdos is weak against Ice- and Rock-typemoves. Ground-type Pokémon won’t take damage from the Legendary Pokémon’sElectric-type moves, but at the same time, remember that Zapdos isn’t affectedby Ground-type moves.

Pokmon Let’s Go: Indigo Plateau And Pokmon League

As well as the Elite Four themselves, there are also a handful of other things worth taking notice of at Indigo Plateau.

First, there’s a Super Nerd in the top left of the entrance area who’ll offer you a trade: your regular Exeggutor for their Alolan Exeggutor.

After you beat the Elite Four, meanwhile, there’s also a new merchant who appears here, just in front of the Pokémon Center counter. This person, dressed as a Poké Maniac, will sell you Mega Stones at a cost of $30,000 each. They sell every Mega Stone usable with Kanto Pokémon, excluding the four you got for the starters from Blue, and the two for Mewtwo.

Otherwise, again after you’ve beaten the Elite Four the first time, there’s a rematch to be had with them. You can battle the entire elite Four again as many times as you like, but their Pokémon will be stronger than the first time around – all about 10 levels or so higher.

There’s also one other special battle to be had back here, after you’ve beaten six Master Trainers, but more on that another time!

And with that, you’re all done – or are you?! You might have beaten the main story but there’s still more to see and do in Kanto. After waking up back home, be sure to check out the optional Power Plant if you haven’t already, or visit Cerulean Cave, for the most challenging hunt for Legendary Pokémon the game has.

Challenge Red At The Indigo League

Once players have defeated six of the master trainers, Red will finally appear outside of the Pokemon League. He’s considerably more difficult than both Blue and Green combined due to him boasting a team of Pokemon that are all level 85.

Players should aim for a team that is at least level 75 before taking him on and stocking up on max revives, max potions and full restores is something of a must. Challenging though he may be, defeating Red is definitely possible and the sign of a true Pokemon Champion.

How To Catch Mewtwo

I order to catch Mewtwo, you simply need to fight him and then catch him as you would any other Pokemon.

Once you get out of the cave, your rival will be waiting and will tell you that Green was also trying to catch Mewtwo. You will head inside in order to take on her.

Green is tough to beat but it should not be a problem if you have Mewtwo. Just make sure that you have healed up your party before the fight begins.

When Green is defeated, she will throw 5 PokeBalls at you that you can pick up and add to your inventory.
